A challenge had been issued.
Well, more of a request than a challenge, but Seiji had still agreed. Now he was on his way to the gymnasium, hands tucked into his pockets, expression eager. Spars had proven themselves to be a very good work out for the boil, he enjoyed the exertion, the endurance, the need to think on his feet. It was good practice for going up against anything bad that threatened his family and friends. Besides, it was actually kind of fun.
As he neared the gym he pulled the ear buds from his ears, rolling the cord up along his hand before tucking them and his phone into a side pocket on his bag. This was set off the side.
It didn't appear that Siku had arrived yet, but Seiji had every faith the ice demon would be there shortly.

Why you still mad about old s**t, Siku?
Seiji looked up as he heard the familiar voice of the demon, and he lifted one dark hand in a wave of greeting, smiling in a friendly matter. The flirtatious tone was still a little off putting, but at least this time Seiji didn't take it personally. He might not have had much experience with the demon, but it seemed as though that was just how the other boil acted. "Everyday," he corrected, smile growing into a grin. The ghost wasn't exactly vain, but his fiance wasn't shy with her compliments.
The question had him smirking. "Considering the afternoon delight that came before this? I'd say yes, I'm feeling pretty lucky. You?"

The tip of dark claws grazed against his chilly skin and told him that distance was a good thing. Seiji seemed well capable after of all of getting him at a reach, just how far was the question now. A jump back and Spinar circled the edge of the designated sparing area, watching, waiting.
There was nothing wrong with conversation, even if he had a personal victory to win here, so a smile spread pale lips upon reply, "well, I've been entirely well. Yourself?" Come to think of it, it had been awhile since they had last met.
But they weren't exactly more than acquaintances really, were they.

To a ghost the cold behind the demon's strikes was little more than a sensation. Cold didn't bother Seiji, his body ran chilly to begin with. The claws though, those stung a bit, and he hissed, jerking back, before charging right back in with a powerful swipe of his own.
"How's Rosy?" What was meant to be an innocent question, might, to Siku, be considered a needling bite. There was no malice behind it, no ulterior motive, the ghost was genuinely curious, but...

Ah ha. If Rosy was meeting the demon's parents that was probably boded well for their relationship. Siku seemed a touch bristly today, but if Rosy was happy, he was happy for her. The ghoul was a sweetheart, and she deserved that happiness. "Sounds like she's doing pretty well, then."
The conversation might have been light, but the ghost boil was taking the soar itself seriously. He was itching to graduate. The sooner he put the school behind him, the sooner he and Junko could start their life together. Planning was fun, but he was sick of planning, sick of looking forward to it all, ready to get down to business.
He'd been at Amity long enough.
So he darted in again, brought those sharp claws around for another vicious swipe at the demon boil.
