When she was born they say Lain's beauty could intrance kingdoms and stop wars. Her parents fearing she would be taken from them hid her deep in the woods where they all lived happily. As she grew so did her beauty and her curiosity for the world beyond the forest. On her 18th birthday James; an old friend of her parents; came over with their delivery of fresh apples from his orchard. As he wished her a Happy Birthday he began to talk about a ball being held that he had a big order to deliver after he was done here. Seeing the chance to go to the ball she rushed upstairs grabbing a few of her mother's things before rushing out the door saying she was going to pick flowers before she hid herself in James's cart. When they arrived she found her way in thru the back with all of her things still in her hands. She found a place to change before joining the crowed at the ball.

Will she find love? or Will her parents find her?
