Club Nintendo, NOOOOOO!!

So, I had heard rumblings about this that Nintendo of America were getting ready to close Club Nintendo soon.
And then today I got an e-mail from Club Nintendo Europe to say that they were also shutting down this year.

We apparently have til 30th Sept to rack up pin codes and stars to spend in the shop before it's all wiped out and replaced with a new loyalty program.

What do you guys think of all this?

They are mentioning there will be another loyalty program. I just hope they also include Latin America. But with the news that they won't ship to Brazil because of the high prices, it doesn't seem likely...

Looks like it's true. America has through the end of June to redeem coins. sad

Man, it's kind of depressing. I remember back when it was Nintendo VIP.
Guess we'll have to make the most of the time we have left.
Though, I do wonder what the new loyalty program will be.
