His father was known for being the oldest and most unaccomplished Chunnin in his village. Shamed by this reputation and constant failure in missions he eventually gave up on promotion to Jounin and also began drinking more than most other shinobi in the village. Although his drinking never caused him to abuse his son, it affected his career and many believe it lead to his early death. After his father's death Rakurai and his older brother, Arashi had to bear the weight of their shame and lonliness and could not cope so they left the Cloud village. Raiton: Raikou Bunshin no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Lightning Clone Technique) Description: This technique makes a simple clone of the shinobi however unlike the standard bunshin, which is a genjutsu, this bunshin takes an actual physical form through the use of electrically charged chakra. One can easily touch and hold this clone like it was in fact an actual person, however when it is attacked it quickly disperses into smoky, hot air. It is also able to attack using taijutsu, however it's ability to attack is around 1/10 in perspective to the user, in return for this weakness it's attacks deliver shocks of electricity to the opponent's body.

Raiton: Denshi no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Electron Technique) Description: A crackling, sparking sphere of yellow electricity appears in the user's hands. The user can than toss this forward, where it will hit the target and electrocute them. Being a lightning Jutsu, it is quite powerful for its rank. However, it swerves as it flies through the air, making it difficult to aim and making it more likely to miss the farther the user is from the target. It is a very basic Jutsu.
Raikou Henge no Jutsu (Lightning Transformation Technique) Description: This technique, while being a branch of Henge no Jutsu, allows the user to transform in a way they never dreamed of. When performing this skill, the user transforms into an extremely quick 'strand' of lightning. In this quick state, nothing is done slowly - everything is in a rush for the user. However, this strand of lightning is incapable of changing directions on its own. It can only change directions by bouncing off another object, such as a tree or a boulder, but the user is capable of bouncing off in any angle they wish to. It is not recommended using this technique in a field with little objects to bounce off of. The Henge automatically dissipates when the user makes contact with a living target. Being in a state similar to lightning, the user plunges completely into their target, and ends up in their physical state on the other side of their opponent. In addition to giving the target a painful electrical shock, this skill may or may not paralyze their opponent. Because of the fast speeds associated with this skill, the user will feel dizzy, confused, and often nauseous for some time afterwards. Note: This technique can be used in conjunction with other jutsu, such as the Call of Lightning Technique, or the Lightning Clone Technique, to confuse the opponent. However, no skills can be used in this state. It cannot be used to flee. Kumo Keba no Jutsu (Cloud Wisp Technique) Description: A scouting technique forming warm air into his hands the Cloud-Nin creates a cloud that is infused with chakra, the entire process takes a post in itself, after forming the cloud the nin loses all form of mental consciousness and the cloud flies away. This little wispling of cloud is now controlled by the nin who has lost consciousness it hears and sees all that is near the cloud. More often times then not the ghosts many foreign shinobi claimed to of seen in The Gate is nothing more then a shinobi using this technique, the wispling looks like a slight misty ball and some could even see the face of the nin form into it giving it a more ghost-like appearance. Destroying it is very easy, physical attacks, ninjutsu almost anything can dispel the technique returning the nin to consciousness, but a horrible weakness this wisp does have is that if one were to use genjutsu on the probe it immediately dispels and the user is afflicted with the genjutsu that was used without even knowing it.
Heki no Jutsu (Burst Technique) Description: An overall simple move that is generally taught to genin to assist in generating and controlling chakra for the sake of ninjutsu, the shinobi vents electric chakra from his entire body, causing anyone that touches or attacks him to receive minor electrical shocks and burns. The shinobi cannot move while in this state.
Nagare Isou no Jutsu (Current Transfer Skill) Description: An overall simple yet very effective technique, the Cloud-nin creates a sort of electrical current on his hand, this current can then be transferred onto any weapon he happens to be holding at that moment be it a kunai, senbon, shuriken, or even a sword. The next physical attack he performs is charged with this electrical current, if he blocks a weapon attack with his own weapon the current transfers over shocking the attacker. If by chance the user is not carrying a weapon he can transfer this current into his opponent's weapon shocking him, or can even hit him with this current.
c h u u n i n Raiton: Raikou Kousen no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Lightning Beam Technique) Description: This is the pinnacle of the single-target ranged lightning jutsu. The attack from Lightning Blast has been upgraded further, making it into a beam twice as wide as before, and much more damaging. Targets hit head-on with this jutsu will experience a fantastic amount of pain and be stunned after the jutsu ends. Also, nearly missing with this jutsu also has some effect. Because of the high amount of voltage, small lightning bolts can arc from the beam to someone standing within two feet of it, causing shocks a little bit more damaging than those of Lightning Bolt technique. This jutsu can be ended prematurely by the user.
Raiton: Raiton no Yoroi (Lightning Release: Lightning Armor) Description:The user wraps their body in a layer of lightning chakra that, instead of being used offensively, is used to electrically stimulate the user's nervous system. The technique speeds up neural synapses to react faster, and to push physical prowess to the absolute limit, allowing for tremendous raw speed. Adds +1/+1 to strength and speed as well as the effects of direct Raiton contact.
Kanri Soushitsu no Jutsu (Control Loss Technique) Description: A rather sophomoric skill in itself forming electricity into the primary hand of the Cloud-Nin the shinobi delivers a full on palm strike to the body, the voltage of this particular technique is considered high enough that the target generally loses control of the bowels and bladder causing a rather distracting mess in their undergarments. Obviously the catch is however that one has to be hit by the palm strike to fall victim to this immature tactic.
Hikuhiku Eda no Jutsu (Twitching Limb Technique) Description: An off-shoot of the Electric Overdose Technique, after the user channels a large amount of electricity in to his hand, making the chakra visible, the user can attack a specific body area of his opponent and fire electricity into it once. Whatever area is struck the muscles immediately begin to constrict and twitch in extreme pain and causes the limb to be unable to move.
Kumo Tate no Jutsu (Cloud Shield Technique) Description: After flashing a series of hand seals the shinobi uses chakra to condense the air immediately in front of him into a thick, chakra-embedded barrier made of cloud. These barrier blocks particular weapon attacks that are coming straight ahead, and will also block ninjutsu-based projectiles that are at the same power as the shield. Dendou Bakuhatsu no Jutsu (Electric Detonation Technique) Descriptions: Flashing a number of Hand seals the user causes all lightning bunshins that are under his specific control to explode into a burst of electricity, shocking anyone that happens to be near them.
Denki Hifu no Jutsu (Electric Skin Technique) Description: making a simple couple of handsigns the user makes sparks travel along their skin to increase the range and size of raiton jutsu for 5 minutes (posts) (7 for jounin)(10 for Kage/sannin) this move also makes it very difficult to make contact with the user for the danger of being severly electricuted.
j o u n i n Chidori This technique channels a large amount of lightning chakra to the user's hand. The amount of chakra is so great that it becomes visible. The high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and thrusts the Chidori into the target, increasing their speed for the duration of this attack by 1. This produces heavy amounts of damage that is usually fatal. This technique is classified as an assassination technique because of the speed at which it is performed, despite the loud noise it produces.
Dendou Hebi no Jutsu (Electric Snake Technique) Description: A capturing technique, after flashing the necessary handseals the shinobi brings electric chakra into his hands, shoves his fingers into the ground, and fires electricity through the ground towards an opponent. The target can generally see this technique coming as small bolts of Lightning dance across the ground towards them, later if they have done nothing to avoid this technique a chain of lightning bursts out of the ground and wraps itself around the ankles of the target. As long as the Cloud-Nin has his hands his fingers buried into ground the target is ensnared. While ensnared the nin is unable to move his legs but is still able to use his arms and hands, however for every minute the user has been ensnared he receives an electric shock. Junsei Raikou Kunai no Jutsu (Pure Lightning Kunai Technique Descriptions: As the user flashes a number hand seals the shinobi begins to develop 4 kunai between his fingers that he can throw at his opponent. Many people often see elemental techniques that take the form of throwing weapons as low grade techniques, and as such enemy shinobi often scoff when they see this technique occurr. However this technique is not the same as any traditional element technique. The kunai that are developed are made of pure, concentrated lightning, heated to the point that with the amount of power that they are thrown it it could go through most forms of metal and still do some damage.
Rensa Raikou no Jutsu (Chain Lightning Technique) Description: A useful technique generally used in an attempt to take out a group of enemies by surprise. Forming electricity into both hands the Cloud Nin launches a continuous stream of Lightning at one opponent, if the technique hits one person it immediately launches itself at the next non-friendly person in range. The lightning chain specifically targets water that is found in the body, so bunshins are generally left untouched unless it's a Water Bunshin. The original number of targets this jutsu can initially hit is three. Yobigoe no Raikou no Jutsu (Call of Lightning Technique) Description: A dangerous technique not only in the sense of it's power but also by it the fact of its inability to be controlled. Forming the necessary hand seals the shinobi begins to collect mist in his immediate area much like Kirigakure no Jutsu, however it begins to rise and form into a thunderstorm cloud instead of laying dormant like mist does. Now powered by chakra the cloud will begin to strike random nin with lightning, the power of this lighting has the ability to cause massive third-degree burns, majorly constricted breathing, and possible fibrillation. This technique lasts for 10 minutes.
Sai Sen no Jutsu (Rewire Technique) Description: Making physical contact with an enemy shinobi the Cloud-Nin shoves Static Strings into his opponent and himself, by hotwiring the electrical impulses of the target's brain he disables the target and assumes control of the opponent's body. While in this state the shinobi can only control the target body and has little control over his own body which will remain standing in place. Major problems with this technique is that by severing the strings you break the connection between the target and the Cloud-nin, also the maximum range the controlled body can move from the original body is 50 feet, otherwise the strings will break. Raiton: Jiten Rakou Dangan (Lightning Release: Spinning Lightning Shot) Description: Bring forth lightning that is compressed into a ball that sends forth shots of lightning, that spin through the air that has slight drill qualities, allowing the shot to partially get into the opponents body, giving them a powerful shock to the system, that can render the closest organ it attacks paralyzed for a few moments.
Inbikiri Ekido no Jutsu (Lightning Rage Technique) Description: After making the necessary handseals the user slap the ground (as many times as one wants) for everytime they slap the ground a blast wave of lightning radiates outwards 50ft. (75ft. for anbu)(100ft. for Kage/sannin)
Inbikiri Seeji no Jutsu (Lightning Sage Technique) Description: The user must maintain concentration for a minute (1 post) as user concentrates on sending electricity through their own muscles thus stimulating themselves to become stronger, faster and more flexible; this raises your base stats by +1/+1 beyond the cap. Lasts for an entire fight before needing to be recharged.
Ten Thousand Lightning Bugs The jutsu is just like it's name. A fairly simple, yet new technique. The user makes twenty consecutive seals ending with bird. At the end of the seal session of the jutsu, the user emits glowing chakra. It creates an aura around their body for one whole post (3 sentences long). The glowing aura then disperses from the body, and turns into what would look like Fire Flies. These little fire flies are actually small balls, about a half inch in circumfrence, and made of pure Raiton Chakra. Once the bugs surround a certain area or abject, the ten thousand fire flies will explode once the bird seal is released. The send out an exposion of lightning about a half meter in diameter electrocuting anything and everything in their path of destruction. Kyuutai Tate no Jutsu (Sphere Shield Technique) Description: Circulating electrically charged chakra around the entire area of the body the user is now able to push this chakra out of their body forming a personal-range electric sphere of defense that covers all angles and even overhead. Anyone who is attempting to break the shield with a taijutsu attack will be given a shock capable of leaving a third degree-burn and pushed back, any type of thrown weapon is immediately blocked as well. The shield can also deflect most ninjutsu attacks. The downside of this is that the user is unable to move while the shield is active.

Raiden no Moui (Raiden's Fury) Description: A technique often used for the sake of demolitions purposes, the user flashes a number of seals and finally ends the series with an odd looking seal that auspiciously looks like the seal that the Yamanaka use for their own techniques. The user of this technique now must keep his eyes set on one specific object that he can see through this seal for the next two minutes, if he moves or does anything else but aim during this period the technique is cancelled. After this, the skies suddenly open up, and a huge beam of white lightning strikes where the user was aiming, decimating the target and causing powerful shockwaves to affect the area 500 feet from the point of impact, most likely decimating anything with a foundation. One can generally tell that this technique is occurring by the fact that the skies turn black, thunder begins sounding, and it starts to rain during the time of preparation as well as a sudden increase of heat.
Sigh of the Yellow Dragon Description: Often considered to be Nagai Jyushin's trademark technique the few who have ever seen it have gazed in awe at the complete output of chakra one would have to use in order to perform such a move as this. Placing but one single hand on the opponent the shinobi delivers a huge debilitating shock to his target forcing him to his knees, the shinobi then generates a excessively huge amount of electirc chakra that the target's body turns to ash and crumbles away. Some who have claimed to of seen the move in action say that a human sized flying snake can be seen wrapped around Nagai and then flies high into the sky, never to be seen again. However to this day the school teacher claims he knows no such move.
Shina's Touch Description: A move believed to be forever lost in legend, but technically possible had one the ability to manipulate enough electrical chakra to do so. Concentrating enough chakra to just the hand one could place it on the opponent's chest and regulate the heart to beat slower then the human body needs to survive. At first the target doesn't even notice that such a technique has even happened and continues moving like it's nothing, however after a little while the target begins to falter about and then collapses as he feels his entire body coarsing with pain and exhaustion unable to get back up. 2 minutes later the victim falls into a coma and then dies afterwards. Although it has never been performed since the days Shina herself was alive one claims all one needs to do to survive such a slow and painful death is to have Hekirikite no Jutsu performed on the victim, re-regulating the heart to it's proper setting.
Raiton: Rairyu Rendan no Jutsu (Lightning Release: Lightning Dragon Attack) Description: Sends a create dragon to smash into the opponent, sending forth an incredible shock through the opponents body. That can leave their entire body temporarily paralyzed.
Raiton: Ryouken (Lightning Hound) Description: By manipulating lightning chakra into the dominante hand, the user make the lightning expand to can create the form of a hound. to attack his opponent from a distance. The lightning dog will still be connected to the user’s hand through a bolt of lightning. The user then manipulates the technique to attack the chosen target. Being a Lightning Release, it requires a lot of chakra from the user to maintain for a period of time and thus a risk to use with a low chakra supply. This was first used against Pain when Kakashi tested this jutsu out to see if he could repel both Ninjutsu and Taijutsu.
Chidori Sharp Spear: Prerequisite: Chidori Description: The original Chidori gained its power by shaping it into a form sufficient for an electrical discharge and using it together with the user's own "thrust". This technique uses Shape Transformation to form the original Chidori into a spear-shape, adapting it for mid-range attacks with a maximum range of 10 meters. Although it's less powerful than the Chidori, its increased range means there is less of a risk to the user. It also has the advantage of being able to be used for surprise attacks and capturing. When the enemy's body is pierced the user can alter the spear's shape into multiple additional blades increasing the number of wounds. The blade can also be swung in order to cut things as well as cause fatal injuries.
Chidori Senbon: Prerequisite: Chidori Description: This is one of many variations of the Chidori that uses shape transformation. It is specialized in more speed, by being transformed into countless sharp senbon, all aimed at the enemy. By increasing the amount of chakra used, the number of senbon also increases. It can become even more effective by using it together with the Sharingan, allowing the user to precisely shoot for the enemy's vital points.
Sword of Kusanagi: Chidori Katana Prerequisite: Chidori Description: This technique allows Sasuke to flow Chidori through his chokutō. This makes it nearly unblockable as the radiating and chirping blade can easily cut through steel. Furthermore, if an opponent is stabbed, their body goes numb due to an electrical current which causes the muscles to go stiff, making it impossible for the opponent to move. However, it can be countered by other weapons that also utilize chakra flow, such as Killer Bee's swords.
Chidori Current Prerequisite: Chidori Description: By releasing the Chidori in every direction, an electrical discharge flows from the user's entire body allowing him to affect multiple enemies. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defense. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the Lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves," making its muscles contract. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receives damage. This will also neutralize other lightning jutsu so long as they are not more powerful. This attack can also be channeled through the ground to increase the range of the attack by a few more feet.
Chidori Stream: Description: The user uses his weapon of choice to channel an extremely powerful Chidori. It appears to have an even greater range than Chidori Current, making it more effective in battle. It can be noted that this technique is more of a use on water, because the lightning current produced is carried on the entire surface making it more difficult for the enemy to avoid it.
Kouseitan Kawa (Element Skin) Description: A jutsu that allows the user to transform their skin into one of the users elements. The user takes a fourth of their elemental chakra and stores it all over there body. However, this must be the useres main element inorder to do it.

a c a d e m y Mizu Soujuu (Water Manipulation) Description: Any Mist Shinobi that uses ninjutsu should likely have this technique. This involves learning basic manipulation of the properties of water. Boiling, freezing, and pressurization of water are included in these studies. Freezing is mostly limited to small amounts of water, and boiling includes the creation of steam by further putting chakra into the water. The user cannot perform these tasks on larger bodies of water with this basic study alone. Furthermore, by learning to draw water from the moisture in the air, the shinobi can use water techniques without requiring a source of water nearby (unless stated otherwise.) A Kage level jutsu always requires a water source, even if the Mist-nin in question creates it first.

Mizu Peretto (Water Pellet) Description: An enhanced Uo Tsuba, instead of a stream, it is a bullet that impacts the enemy at high speed (though with blunt force,) and it is roughly about the size of a fist.
Mizutamari no Jutsu (Water Puddle Technique) Description: By altering personal body shape, the user can melt into the water below the user. This allows the user to hide and set up an ambush, or lose inexperienced trackers.
Suiton: Mizu Shuriken no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Shuriken Technique) Description: Through the use of water manipulation, the user can create multiple small shuriken comprised of water and launch them towards the target. After hitting and/or cutting a solid surface, they revert to water. It is important to note that these shuriken can be physically launched (by hand) or launched as they are created.

Mizutamari Yusuo no Jutsu (Water Puddle Transportation) Requirements: Mizutamari no Jutsu Description: The normal Mizutamari Technique must be learned before you can use this technique, since it requires Mizutamari to be used in conjunction with it. If a user uses the Mizutamari while standing on top of a lake or river or any other water source, he/she can materialize himself/herself back anywhere he/she wants within the area of the water source (maximum range, 1/2 a mile.) That way the user can surprise the enemy from behind or even from below. Mizu no Yoroi (Water Armor) Description: A thin layer of water covers the user’s whole body. At the basic requirements, it gives protection against fire techniques by dampening the effects, as well as nullifying some Taijutsu attacks. While the armor is on, it constantly draws out small amounts of both the user’s chakra and stamina, and thus can only be kept up for a limited time.
Suiton: Fuuma Mizu Shuriken (Water Release: Evil Windmill Water Shuriken) Description: Instead of creating multiple smaller shurikens made of water, the user creates one or more large Fuuma Shurikens made of water and launches it towards the enemy. The shuriken causes massive damage when hitting an enemy. It is also much more solid than the normal water shurikens and can easily parry other kunais and shurikens that come in its path. This technique can be performed in one of two ways: the first is to create a single shuriken that the user may throw (this requires no body of water to draw from,) the second requires a large body of water, but allows the Mist shinobi to create multiple shuriken that he can launch directly from the water sources towards the enemy. This can be especially deadly if the fight itself is taking place atop said body of water, since the shurikens are hidden until they actually emerge from the water.

Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu (Mist Vision Technique) Description: A technique usually used with Kirigakure no Jutsu, the Mist Vision technique allows the user to see through heavy mist, steam, or any other condition caused by water in the air. This does not give the ability to see through smoke. The technique is passive and activates when the user's vision would otherwise be obstructed by mist.
Doiru Suiyari no Jutsu (Drilling Water Spears) Description: Used when the enemy is standing on top of water to surprise attack them (though a Mist Shinobi with Mizu Soujuu and enough power and control can use this technique without the water.) Large sharp drill shaped spears made of water comes forth out from the water around the enemy and attacks. Alternatively, this can be used as a powerful defense, causing the water drills to intercept attacks and either nullify them (in the case of elemental techniques) or deflect them high (in the case of projectiles and weaker taijutsu attacks).
Suiton: Suise no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Torrent Technique) Description: This technique is somewhat comparable to the Doton Doryuu Taiga, in that the user creates a small torrent of water that moves along the ground at a high speed and can carry opponents away with it. If there is a sizable body of water nearby, or the user's Mizu Soujuu is up to the task, the size of the torrent can be quite large. Otherwise, the torrent is smaller and more specific, able to target one opponent or straight line of opponents.
Mizuhada Bunshin No Jutsu (Water Body Clone Technique) Description: A powerful enhancement of the Water Reflection clone, this technique creates a number of full-powered water clones and does not require a body of water. These clones have the full Chakra and Mental abilities of the user, as well as Physical ability. A solid hit will destroy the clone. Suirou no Jutsu (Water Prison Technique) Description: A move used to trap the victim inside a prison of water; it is very difficult to escape. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep one hand against the prison at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This is considered one of the strongest water trapping jutsus, simply because it has no inherent duration; the technique can be held indefinitely as long as the user keeps a hand in place, and the prison cannot be escaped or broken from the inside.
Suiton: Suikoudan no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Shark Blast Technique) Description: A powerful attack that requires its target to be on or near the water, this technique creates a large shark comprised of water that can be used to attack in one of two ways. Primarily, the shark is sent towards the opponent at a charge, attempting to strike the opponent with extreme bashing force as well as trying to rend him with its teeth. The second, more devious use involves the shark attempting to swallow the opponent. In this case, the shark is hidden under the water until it attacks. If it manages to swallow an opponent, he is trapped within a sphere of water as the shark itself dissolves. After an attack, successful or not, the sphere vanishes.

• Saegiritte [ Interrupting] Genin
Using one's hands as if they're using a slingshot, the user will pull back one hand and let loose. Three to five small white clouds will shoot towards the target in a straight line. Upon impact, the projectiles will stick and roll about the target as if an adhesive fluid. After setting for a short amount of time (1 post), the clouds will expand roughly two-fold, rendering the target a bit more susceptible to electricity, in addition to having some movement complications. • Each cloud sticks for one post, Meaning the post after they have set is the post that is stuck to the opponent.
• Kumorizora [ Gathering Clouds ] Genin A basic Ranton ability in which the user forces the clouds above him/her to gather so thick that they will completely eliminate any chance of rays of light from touching the ground. Gathering Clouds can also be used with Amagumo to cause rain over an entire area.
• Kumogatta [ Cloud Formations ] Genin A basic Ranton ability in which the user will create a human sized gray cloud, in any shape they desire, and push it off to drift for a little while (2 posts). Anyone or thing that comes into contact with this cloud will feel a moderate shock so long as they are within it.
White Blades The Hatake performing the jutsu, using their unique white chakra, emit long, dual curved blades jutting out from their forearms. However, they can be emitted from other places of the body, such as the lower legs. They are very durable and razor sharp on both edges. The blades dull edge can deliver a burning sensation if bare skin were to be touched to it for more than a second, but isn't too harmful in itself. The blades are able to be moved as fast as the user can move their forearms, so it is in direct relation to their speed. On a durability, they rank about an 8 on the moh scale. Striking something harder can cause them to waver or even break and disperse. The chakra cannot be absorbed back into the body after taking this shape.
White Whip The user is able to emit a single, long, whip made of chakra from their arm and have complete control over it. It can be cut with normal weapons of durable construction, but can still be used even if cut down. Being struck by the whip will often result in a painful sting and a long laceration meant to draw a good amount of blood. Such a whip might also be used as a rope for climbing or maneuvering.

• White Plating White Hatake chakra is pushed to the surface of the body out of the skin and forms armor plating in hexagonal patterns. This can not be done for the entire body, only a full limb or patch of body. This can be used to make taijutsu more damage inflicting due to its hardness, ranking 8 on the moh scale. Well protecting the user well from physical attacks, it will falter under jounin or above level ninjutsu.
• White Bolt Much like the Suiton: Mizu Peretto, this jutsu is purely projectile based. A bullet-sized amount of white chakra is gathered at the palm and then fired at will toward the target. The bullet strikes with blunt force, causing a small burn mark where it strikes, plus the trauma of the impact. Upon striking a surface, it dissipates into a white haze.
• Kumoritte [ Becoming Cloudy ] Stretching both hands outward, the user releases a continual mass of nearly pitch black clouds which almost utterly demolish visibility. This string of black clouds will continue for as long as the user's hands are outstretched, expanding at roughly 10 yards per post. • Badly affected by the wind.
• Kumo no Fukushuu [ Arachnid's Revenge] Similar to [ Kumoritte, ] the user will release a string of black clouds from their hands at roughly 10 yards per post. However, unlike Kumoritte which is merely used to disable visibility, these black clouds hold a creeping secret. Within the darkness lurks hundreds of tiny "thunder legs;" chakra created creatures which give off a small amount of light and emit an electric charge from each of their eight legs. In small amounts, the feeling of their legs on one's body is almost therapeutic, but in leagues these critters are capable of delivering an intense shock. • Badly affected by the wind.
• Hikari no Kekkai [ Light's Barrier ] Chuunin After the needed handsigns are performed, a plate of fuzzy light appears upon the user's chest. This light will strike down light to medium projectiles, and is capable of protecting against explosives by quickly shelling over the entire body. • Lasts two posts.
• Raiun • Douki [ Storm Cloud • Pulsation ] Chuunin Extending the electric composition of [ Raiun • Honba, ] the user will use their free hand to deliver a solid palm thrust from within the clouds to send out a bulb of pure electricity at a rather high velocity. Unfortunately, because the clouds are so difficult to see through, the user typically has to have developed some method to get passed this, lest they literally be shooting in the dark. • Obtained when [ Raiun • Honba ] is learned. Can only be used with Raiun Honba
Reizaa Saakasu [ Laser Circus ] Manipulating their ability to mold Raiton and Suiton, the user will perform the needed handsign and release threads of "liquid lightning" from their freehand. Because of their composition and formation, these beams deal both impact and electric damage. The user is also able to bend these beams toward their target in order to deliver pinpoint strikes. Each beam costs [5] chakra to form, and can be bent freely. They are all considered as separate techniques.

• Raiton: Kurobansa [ Lightning Release: Black Panther ] The user performs a single handsign and tucks it close to their body, from here a substantial amount of black lightning will surge around their body and shoot from them. By aiming the still held handsign, the user releases a mass of black lightning in the shape of a panther-like creature to electrocute their target. Because of its size and overall power, the panther is capable of causing severe damage if full contact is made.
• Hatake Will O' Wisps Base-ball sized globes of swirling chakra are dispersed from the user's hands, an amount of fifteen to twenty-five at a time. Although slow moving, they are very dangerous. The smallest amount of physical contact with one of the globes will cause it to detonate with the force of 3/4 of a papertag and a short-range cloud of slicing chakra. This sharp chakra is not great enough to produce life threatening cuts, but can be incredibly painful...think papercuts all over ones limb or body. The user can detonate them remotely one at a time as they see fit as well as control their movement...though slow in this manner. Their paths and positions are easily affected by wind. They will not detonate in a chain-reaction manner and cannot be set off by contact with one another. Only solid objects can effect them. (I.E. Doton, kunai, throwing a stick, ect.)
• Raiun • Honba [ Storm Cloud • Home ] Jounin The user releases black clouds from one hand while performing handsigns with the other. The spray of clouds will coil around and encompass on the user, forming a mass of electrically charged darkness. If anyone else ventures within the mass of clouds, they will almost instantaneously be assaulted by various electric surges, which will continue to barrage the body until said person leaves. Because of their nearly nonexistent weight, the user is free to move around at a lessened pace with this cover of electric pillows so long as they hold the single handsign. The jutsu covers their surrounds but not underneath them. •Lasts for three posts or until the hand sign is released

• Hijutsu: Ryuuki Boufuuryuu [ Secret Technique: Rising Dragon Storm ] Sannin The user takes aim with both hands, builds up chakra, and then releases a twisting torrent of black clouds at the target at an impressive speed. While twisting, the black clouds will separate and converge multiple times until they take the form of a dragon. This odd display can be rather confusing for opponents at first. When the attack finally makes impact, the clouds will cluster, swirl, and electrocute a rather well sized area due to the moisture held within them.
• White Genesis S-Rank Inspired by the Genesis Rebirth medical technique, the Hatake will build up white chakra in a certain point at their body over time, passively. When released, this puts them in the White Genesis state. Their hair will turn an even brighter white/silver and their eyes will lose all detail, save for a bright white glow. Their chakra system is outlined almost like geometric circuitry in glowing white on their skin. The rush of chakra allows them to freely use any and all Hatake jutsu without chakra cost, save for the cost of initiating White Genesis. This state lasts for five posts. Upon deactivation, they will have a one point reduction in speed and strength, as well as lose their ability to use any and all ninjutsu for three posts. This jutsu may only be used once per month. In total, they may only cast 150 chakra-points worth of Hatake jutsu before the effect wears off. This overrides the time limit. Using up 150 points worth of jutsu in two posts will end the state prematurely as opposed to the time limit of five posts.

Meian Ha (light and dark blade) The Range of the weapon: 1-10 feet Weakness: Not very good against other chakra embedded weapons with a real blade. Not good at blocking or cutting ninjutsu. After initial activation, any form changes (such as from whip to sword) will take 3 CP. Only works with kekki genkai type chakra that are either sharp, strong, or flexible that can be weaponized, not elemental chakra. so a regular ninja can't have a pure raiton weapon, but rather a ranton user can have a ranton sword simply by picking this hilt up because of the physical nature of the chakra of the chakra being able to hit with blunt force. Description: It looks like a simple useless katana hilt but has many uses. It can use certain kekkai genkai chakra to its advantage by conducting it form the user and creating either a short blade 1-3 ft or a long whip up to 10 feet made of the chakra. Rakurai can use this with his Ranton and Hatake traits to make either a black electrically charged weapon of sharp debilitating lightning chakra, or a hot white razor sharp weapon that is a bit over 8 on the moh scale, making it much harder than Hardened Steel and can inflict burns. There are other kekkai genkai which it may work with this blade, but those examples are how i will use it. transforming it from normal to a blade, it takes a few seconds and transforming from blade to whip or vice-versa takes longer. It can change length slightly while in use, but to change form after initiation the user must spend 3 CP. Due to the power of the Ranton and Hatake chakra, the two types of weapon have after surviving a hit with the black weapon a person may be debilitated or paralyzed during the next post. the White weapon is deadly because of it's hardness, any weapon made of anything lower than an 8 on the moh scale will likely break if used to block an attack with this weapon, although blocking is possible it can leave the enemy weaponless for a follow up attack, chakra weapons take longer to break if the enemy is one rank above you or weaker, but not impossible unless the enemy is two ranks above you. With an enemy two ranks higher its reasonable to say that their chakra is strong enough to resist breakage of their weapon. Both are very bad at fighting other chakra weapons with an actual blade or ninjutsu. yo-yo with metal string length:string=100 ft can be used to bind foes and conduct electricity through the string which can cause them to be hurt or paralyzed by the current. Rai nodded to the man and pulled out the hilt he was braced to grab in his right hand. he then focused his chakra into it and caused a 7 foot whip made out of razor sharp white Hatake chakra. "I'de love to" he smirked and stopped about 50 feet from Yami and held his left hand out, palms faced up and flicked his wrist a few times toward himself calling for Yami to make the first move. he was never the type to throw the first punch if he didn't have to, so he would wait to see Yami's response.

as soon as he said 'your call', Rai would put his left palm straight toward Yami and shoot black electric storm clouds all over to cover the area quickly. Yami would would not be able to see where Rakurai after less than a second after activation while he was in the large cloud. now there would be 60 feet of clouds separating the two men so Yami would have to move back 10 feet in order not to be touched or get electrocuted with strong bursts of electricity. Rai would run a few steps from where he was avoiding any attack that may come, before breathing in deeply and spitting a large stream of boiling hot electrocuted water aimed to hit and destroy the hands and go through to hit Yami before they could move toward him, trying to see how Yami would react. This could break the sand apart and burn and cut Yami with the heat and force of the water, as well as making the sand harder to manipulate due to the water drenching the immediate area. even if Yami avoided the clouds, the water went through the field of electric current, and carried the electricity with it causing anything it hit to feel the current from the electrocution of the clouds. Yami would also not see it coming until it got out of range of the clouds which would give him very little time to react or dodge. Rai now knew of his odd sand style which was weak to water but knew there had to be another trick up the man's sleeve that could be more dangerous and he wanted to force the issue early to know what he was dealing with.

Yami would press his hand into the ground where he would be yanked into with extreme speed. The man was no ordinary raiton user, yami has seen only 1 clan that uses raiton passively, Cecil was one of them, this was different. "damn it, shukaku!" He would then move around beneath the ground making himself unknown of where he will strike ((assassins class)) he would then force sand into the mist. He could probably see but not with sand in his vision. Afterwards he would create sand clones that would travel and shoot from the ground one of the 3 clones was an attack type to help fool him while he sat and prepared for shukaku's help. once Yami went underground the attack hit the sand hands and kept going hitting a large area of the ground, it alerted Rai and he sighed while he kept looking around but couldn't see through the thick sand. He put his whip underneath his arm for a second while he flashed a few handsigns as a water clone came from the ground that was soaked with water already and ran out of the cloud cover to confront Yami's clones. another clone made of lightning chakra appeared without the use of handsigns next to him. Rai looked uneasy as he knew any moment the enemy could jump out at him, but the clone slapped its hand on the ground, and listened closely hoping to hear something in the ground as he was waiting for the first sign of danger to send a chidori current into the ground to shock anything in the area that was touching the ground, the water in the soil would help to conduct the attack much more giving it a wider range the moment he decided to use it. he wasn't sure if it would work but he had to react somehow, so he would just wait until it was necessary, if it wasnt he would refrain from wasting chakra. the water clone was outside of the cloud looking for Yami and his clones, it was hard to see through the sand but without the clouds it was possible so it spotted the three clones. With a another flash of handsigns a large torrent of water came from the ground, running long the ground trying the wash the three clones away quickly. it would run about two feet off the ground and spread through a large area constantly gushing water that would wash away anything in its path. this constant saturation of the ground below the battle ground would give more fuel to conduct all raiton chakra, including the chidori current the other clone was more than prepared to used and also dampen the available sand and earth even more difficult to manipulate due to the heaviness of it. He knew it probably wouldn't make a huge difference in his manipulation power but any little edge he could get helped especially if he couldn't see his opponent. with this much water in the ground Yami could undoubtedly tell the difference and might even feel a little wet himself while underground. Rakurai would prepare for an attack by focusing his chakra for while until his body was covered in a veil of black lightning boosting all of his strength past it's limits. he would then make his hands already braced to make handsigns in case of a sneak attack while his clone and he stayed back to back covering all blind sides, it was hard to see but they could see enough that they werent fully blind, and in his domain of the clouds he felt like he had enough control even without good sight due to his extreme speed boost.

It is also able to attack using taijutsu, however it's ability to attack is around 1/5 in perspective to the user, in return for this weakness it's attacks deliver shocks of electricity to the opponent's body

((I get you, only thing i wonder is whats the diff between the 1 "Attack" clone and the others? i thought they all just look like sand sculptures and have the same power? I just used the clouds to hide then used the water cannon to hit the sand hands before they could attack me, just dissolving them... then I just made 2 clones, one prepared to strike the ground with a chidori stream if you come near it or the main Rai, and the other outside of the cloud to fight your clones with the water torrent.))

((I understand, the clones don't look like sand sculptures, they look like the actual guy but when attacked turns to sand. The difference between the attack type and non attack type is sort of a hologram effect. While it looks real, once attacked it would change while the one that can attack can stay for a minimum of a post.))

Shukaku would say, he was helping by breaking down rocks and converting them to sand for a sneak attack but it seems that would be nearly impossible with how well his defense has been set up. "Should I use the gates?" Yami would ask shukaku. "No, we need to save that in case your near loosing." Yami nodded as he then activated the lightning armor jutsu. He would then move far enough to avoid the mans cloud jutsu and his sand that he used to make it hard for him to see. Once out of the ground, the three clones he had help him jumped in front of the attacking clone while the attacking clone would dodge. The ones that jumped in front would be blasted away into sand while the other would create a sand dragon just from a few hand signs and send it at him. "Shukaku, Protective barrier." As the sand dragon appeared the clone of Rai that was outside the cloud smirked and its eyes glowed bright yellow as his body was encased in a sphere of black ranton chakra that was impervious to anything except an SS-ranked jutsu. as the dragon hit the shield it would be destroyed leaving the clone unharmed. The clone that was inside the cloud stared at the ground about 10 feet away and focused it's chakra looking fully prepared and concentrated for any surprise attacks. The sky and clouds above began to go dark and candy mountain did not look so cheerful anymore as rain started falling quickly. as soon as the other clone's shield jutsu cleared the clone would point it's right hand at the sand clone and a beam of flexible ranton chakra would launch out and shape into a hound, it would attack and follow the clone if it would move due to the precise control that ranton manipulation granted. as soon as this was done the hound would turn and bolt toward the barrier that Yami built for himself. the SS-Ranked attack would try to break through with blunt force and if successful it would hit Yami directly and electrocute him, but Rai would lessen the voltage and impact to only electrocute him to near death and paralyze his body temporarily, so he would not get any blood on his hands yet.

Water body clone (chakra=415-20-30=365) Clone's jutsu: Kyuutai Tate no Jutsu (Sphere Shield Technique) Rank: A+(S) Description: Circulating electrically charged chakra around the entire area of the body the user is now able to push this chakra out of their body forming a personal-range electric sphere of defense that covers all angles and even overhead. Anyone who is attempting to break the shield with a taijutsu attack will be given a shock capable of leaving a third degree-burn and pushed back, any type of thrown weapon is immediately blocked as well. The shield can also deflect most ninjutsu attacks. The downside of this is that the user is unable to move while the shield is active. Raiton: Ryouken (Lightning Hound) Rank: S+(SS) Description: By manipulating lightning chakra into the dominant hand, the user make the lightning expand to can create the form of a hound. to attack his opponent from a distance. The lightning dog will still be connected to the user’s hand through a bolt of lightning. The user then manipulates the technique to attack the chosen target. Being a Lightning Release, it requires a lot of chakra from the user to maintain for a period of time and thus a risk to use with a low chakra supply. This was first used against Pain when Kakashi tested this jutsu out to see if he could repel both Ninjutsu and Taijutsu.

This just made yami more dangerous. Yami would send the wall towards the beast to give him time to get into the air. That was not the case, yami would retreat back into the ground and create to more attacking clones. they each would dart off on a cloud towards Rakurai. They would hop down and stand on seprate sides of him. Creating hand sign's, small and tiny blue lights would come off each of their skin. The light was enchanting, it was ocean blue. they would head towards him and cover the field for about 20 feet. They would then explode. Unless Rakurai could retreat under ground like yami or figure out a way to go above the ground, or if he could speed out of the 20 feet, he would most likely be cought in the explosion, sending the fighter near death.
