I've been working on an idea for a post-apocalyptic zombie role play with a steam punk flavor and a heavy dose of psychic powers. The world would be a devastated wasteland, with a few scattered fortified cities and towns, but with the main bastion of civilization being the floating city of New Damascus, which scours the world for supplies and raw materials that it then transports to one of the other cities to aid them or to be processed into new tools or weapons. The zombies in this are quite different, since a good percentage of them have psychic abilities and about 85% have relatively low intelligence, such as being able to use simple melee weapons, open doors or climb ladders, even play dead or set up crude ambushes, though they are still slow. A few others, about 10%, have average human intelligence, and all the perks thereof. A very rare few have genius level intellect, less than 1%, and, while all about 1 out of 5ghouls manifest psychic abilities, the genius level zombies always have psychic abilities. All zombies, mutated by the Ichor Contagion, have increased stamina, sensory capacity, endurance, and healing. Add to this advanced steam punk level technology. Humans can also gain psychic powers by infecting themselves, allowing the infection to spread until it kills them, then be given the cure and resurrected. I'm a sucker for setting up role playing challenges for my players, due to years of Dungeon Mastering D&D games, so the operation would be very risky, perhaps causing a limb to be amputated. Also, there are different levels of abilities, depending on the power of the ability itself and the person's amount of control they have over it. If anyone is interested I will gladly post more on the role play. Its pretty well got the ground work laid out, just needs work on the details and story, but that's what I'll be working on over the next couple of days.

Please quote me when you are done with setting up. I'd like to join smile (Only for group)
