Whatever distinction they were trying to make between "hubris" and "sin" was lost on me; I see no difference.

      • Nehemiah 9:16 (NIV)

16 “But they, our ancestors, became arrogant and stiff-necked, and they did not obey your commands.

      • Nehemiah 9:29 (NIV)

29 “You warned them in order to turn them back to your law, but they became arrogant and disobeyed your commands. They sinned against your ordinances, of which you said, ‘The person who obeys them will live by them.’ Stubbornly they turned their backs on you, became stiff-necked and refused to listen.

      • 1 John 3:4 (NIV)

4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.

The hubris/sin definitions aside, that was a good summary. It captured just how ungodly transhumanism is in such short words. Man cannot enhance what God has created. They need to stop thinking they can. Mind uploading is merely assisted suicide, when you think about it. The only difference: it gives the appearance, to everyone else, that you're still alive. But you're dead. emotion_sweatdrop
