So, this is my first time posting up an RP story, feel free to chime in with any things I may leave out. Alright, here goes!
Me/Guidelines/Etc.: First, a little about me. Call me Luna! Avid creative writer and a huge fan of cats, specifically their coy-like nature. Though I've never owned one, I do have a soft spot for them.
I'm typically on during the day and night, checking in every now and again, so I'd like to say I'm responsive when it comes to these. Not exactly impatient, but not really patient either - if you don't post for a day or two, that's okay, but if a week goes by and you didn't tell me, and I'm checking these forums for nothing, that could get annoying, so just be considerate is really what I'm getting at.
I do write, typically, a good paragraph or two just to make it worth your while, so in turn, I hope that you'll do the same for me. Of course, I understand that there might be times when inspiration just doesn't pop, but get a post out there and I'll do my best to work through it with you. If we catch each other online at the same time, then shorter posts are fine!
If you're on here, looking for 1 on 1's, then I assume you're literate. Keep that spell check on and read over your posts before posting, I'll do my best to keep things tight and interesting!
All in all, I want an RP partner, not just someone to RP with - ya feel me? So don't feel like we're opponents here, though at time's the characters may feel that way, but us as writers should be working off each other.
If you would like to RP, great! Just PM your profile and we can get the ball rolling. Any questions, PM those over to me too!
Okay, moving on! The actual RP, right... (by the way, this is all subject to change if you come up with better ideas)
+--------------------------------------------------------+
Genre: Slice of life, romantic, comedy, action, and sometimes, if it gets there, even erotic.. o///o (if you're smooth enough and get her into that mood, well... we'll cross that bridge when we get there!)
Setting: I'm always open to slight variants, so not a problem if you want to get creative. Here, you'll see beastmen as a common theme in this world. However, if you'd rather be in a human, demon world, etc, I wouldn't be opposed. This world is just like the one we currently live in, same customs, traditions, technology, etc. Everyone has a job/career, bars, clubs, restaurants, the whole nine yards.
The only difference is that the world is run by beastmen, which means humans do not exist, and in place of animals are... alien like creatures (we'll make it up as we go). There are difference races of beastmen such as felines, canines, reptiles, etc.
As for sources of meat in the world, beastmen typically eat these alien-like creatures as well as fish (no fish men, unless you have objections). And of course, like humans, pets are sometimes eaten, which means catgirls, or nekos as they're called in this world, have been and are seen as a coveted delicacy among certain cultures in this world.
Language wise, beastmen speak their own language, so there will be, similar to humans and their pets, a language barrier. Only means of communication would be either your neko teaches itself to speak your language, or through gestures.
As that is the world, there is, of course, your apartment/house, the neighborhood, your place of work, etc. All of which I figured we would make up on the fly!

Character Profile: //Actual Name// Luna Vitesse //Pet Name// Has not been named yet//Age// 17 to 18 years old //Height// 152cm (5 foot) //Weight// ~95lbs //Personality// Reserved and meek to strangers or people she finds intimidating. She craves attention randomly, and if she feels comfortable enough, will seek it out. Otherwise, usually cold and keeps to herself... unless hungry. Then she gets cranky. If provoked, will fight and not back down until put into submission. //Likes// Generally not too picky about food. Loves fish, specifically salmon, but will eat just about anything. Especially loves noodle dishes. She's very athletic and loves active engagement, activities outside, but also has an equal love of lazing about the house. Has a huge soft spot for large plush toys. Watching TV, reading (though there wouldn't be anything to read), drawing, and other leisurely activities are ways she spends her days. //Dislikes// Hate's being bothered when doing her own things, too much physical contact when not appropriate, being submerged in water, getting squirted with water, being inside for too long, taking medicine, getting shots, and of course, physical abuse. If hit, she'll lock down into rage mode and fight until subdued. Also, desperately does not want to be eaten. //Characteristics// A petite, adolescent neko with shoulder length blond hair, black cat ears and tail, and sapphire blue eyes. Her lips are small, moderately plump and pink. Her body is small in stature, fit and tone, but not muscular. At the time of being captured, she was wearing a red bow behind her head and a beat up leather bell collar around her neck. Her top was a large black sweater that exposed her shoulders and a tight black tube top beneath it. At her waist was a black leather belt and a crimson red short school skirt which matched her red buckled boots and black thigh high stockings. Since captured, these were her only belongings. +--------------------------------------------------------+ //Actual Name// Shou Tamashi //Age// 19 //Height// 6'00" //Weight// 175 lbs //Personality// Shou is a bit aggressive as a tengu, or crow demon, as well as possessive of his items. Being in a high position, he is a bit arrogant, but thinks with a cool head at all times. //Likes// Night, meat, birds, music, flying/heights //Dislikes// water, prideful beasts, spicy foods, the ground //Characteristics// Shou is a tengu, and as such his feet and hands can change, forming scales and claws, although he permanently has large black wings on his back which he folds against himself for ease of movement. He has black hair, dark blue eyes, some scars on his body and a thin body. He usually wears coats over a t-shirt and jeans, with a chain necklace with a locket and several leather wristbands including a watch on his arms.

Guide to Neko Raising:A few pointers, just for kicks!- When raising nekos, making sure they are entertained and engaged is the most important part of all. Whether it be playing with toys or taking them out for walks, high to occasional frequency of play will keep your neko happy at content. - Make sure to keep your eyes on them at all times, or else they might as well be someone else's dinner. - If they run away, they are almost as good as dead, so please, be careful. - Owning more than one neko per household is prohibited. Allowing some to mate is punishable by law! - Though there are various types of nekos, it is unacceptable to breed them together. Nekos are very intelligent and can become a danger if their numbers ever increase. Neko Facts:Nekos are brought over from a world different from ours. Poachers create a passage from our world to theirs to bring them in. However, the details of their methods is not public knowledge and it's a well kept secret. Thus, most people don't bother looking into it. Pet shops have an age standard on nekos they sell, which is between the age of 16 and 30. The reason why they don't sell younger nekos is because there are too many complications in raising and educating them. Nekos are rare to find as a pet shop, and in turn, are a rare household pet. If you get the chance to own one, please handle with care.

It had been hours since she had awaken, hands holding onto the bars of her tight cage as she tried to get an angle as to what was around her. The room was pitch black, huge, and living. Her ears twitched to the sound of breathing in the adjacent cells - she was too afraid to make a noise. Instead, she simply scooted herself to the back of the cage, weaving her arms under her knees and pulling her legs into her chest, tears well past welled up in her eyes as she pressed her forehead to her knees.
Alone... This is just a dream... I'm back at home. I'm just at home.. thinking to herself as she tried to close her eyes.
I hear... footsteps... her eyes peeled open as a door opened, the light from outside flooding into the room before a switch was flipped, the anti-theft window guards rising. The yaps and shrieks and howls of everything around her at once was deafening. She rolled her hands over her ears and pressed herself as tightly as she could into the corner of her cage, the figure flipping an closed sign to open and pulling out a bag from behind the counter.
"I'm at home, I'm at home, I'm at home..." she whispered to herself, tears pouring down her cheeks as her boots scratched against the cold metal floor.
As the lights flickered on in each cage around her, her eyes just barely open, vaguely being able to make any visuals passed the tears, she noticed the dark silhouette of a man slowly come into site. Her eyes shot open as he made his way to her cage, peering into it with a bag of, what she could tell, "feed." There was a snout, fangs, horrifyingly big eyes, excruciatingly similar to that of a wolf - he must have been 7 or 8 feet tall. She quickly closed her eyes again, covering them with her hands and knees as she heard the growling coos of the wolf from beyond the cage, random noises coming from its mouth. Her eyes peeked out from behind one of her hands as it looked like he was whispering to her with a weird smile, the metal bowel on the floor being filled with hard pellet-like things.
Finally, a small latch slid open from above the cage, a small window allowing for him to place the bowl on the floor, and then the latch relocked and he was off.
Her body shaking, her heart pounding, she didn't dare move from her spot. Instead, she resumed covering her face as the other animals banged up against their cages, her metal cage walls, other then the entry, were solid steel, so even if she wanted to see who her neighbors were, she couldn't.

gaia_nitemareleft Shou Tamashi gaia_nitemareright The streets of the city were bustling with the various beasts in the world. Lizards, lions, tigers, bears, and more. Their sounds roared high and far for such a simple place. Nearing night the place was going to be even busier than it was now as the nocturnal beasts came out. Flying above it all, wings blending in with the black behind him, was the crow beast Shou Tamashi. He flew with a set location in mind, and could fly unimpeded. He learned a pet shop had acquired some rare specimens from their operation, as expected from wolves. Shou got early information because of his position, as well as an early viewing for them. He began to descend, touching down on the street where the pedestrians cleared. He folded up his wings along his back and stuffed his hands into his pockets before walking along the sidewalk, shoes clicking on the pavement. He found the building, oddly dull in paint, and entered through a bulkier door. Normally when a beast ran into wolves, they would be frightened. The result was opposite when a tengu was in the room. The head of the wolf poachers approached, the authority clear just by the appearance of the beastman. "Shou Tamashi. I'm hear for an early view." he explained, holding out a copy of the message. "Alright, come on. We've got some good products in this haul. Sphinx, centaur, heck we even got a cat girl. Maybe mr. crow would like to play with the cute kitty?" the wolf bellowed a laugh at his joke against the crow as he opened the door to where the pets were kept. A couple others followed the large wolf inside as well. "What kind of job do you have to afford these things?" "Medical."

//Unnamed Neko// //Mood: Petrified crying // Her ears flickered to the sounds of the rollers in the doors slowly unhinging and detaching causing her to flinch and shove herself farther into the corner, the thuds from whatever neighboring creature was being held in the adjacent cell next to her causing her to breath faster, not exactly helping the situation.
The wolf with the feed turned to the wolves and the tengu as they entered the room, the neko's eyes shifting back and forth between the creatures, not being able to see there faces, yet only there bodies from how low her cage was. Random grunts, yaps, huffs coming from the figures, her ears twitched back and forth as her eyes lay wide open, nearly petrified as they made their way to her cage.
"...." she clenched her eyes, hands tightened into fists around her mouth as her knees drew in tighter, hoping that if she kept silent, maybe they wouldn't bother her.
The alpha wolf didn't wait for a response from the tengu, instead, as a normal business would, tried to show off the most expensive of the pets first, showing him to the young centaur, then the Cerberus (oddly enough resembling more of a dog than a beastman), until finally making their way to her.
A quiet shrill escaped her lips as the cage shifted a bit, the wolf fiddling with the lock until finally the bars swung open, her wide eyes quivering through her bangs as a pole with a noose on it gently slipped over her head and hands. Shuttering immensely as it were, she stretched her neck back, feeling the rope loosely pull her at the back of her neck. In an attempt to break free, she latched her hands around the pole and pulled on it, then shuffling to the other side of the cage, her red leather boots scuffing up the bottom of the cage all the while.
No! Just leave me alone!! She thrashed, heart pounding against her chest as the rope tightened to the point where she could barely breath. Slowly she was escorted out to the edge of the cage just to be scooped up by the giant wolf, the rope loosening and being pulled off her as his hand pressed her head against his chest, his furry neck nearly enveloping the tiny neko.
"Good eye. Good. Eye. Our only one this month and we just got her yesterday," the wolf nodded with a smile as Luna sat in his arms trembling in fear, his one massive hand holding onto her shin and ankle so she wouldn't escape. Her eyes were wide, horrified, as these creatures bantered back and forth, so afraid she could barely breath, let alone blink.
"Would you like to hold her? She's light! Just a kitten, I presume.."

gaia_nitemareleft Shou Tamashi gaia_nitemareright The poacher lead Shou through the pens, with the sound of yelps and howls filling the room. The poacher tried to show off the centaur, but it acted sporadic so they moved onto a cerberus, and while it was more calm Shou wasn't showing interest so they moved onto another. The wolf beast used a lead to fish out the creature inside, which seemed to be putting up some resistance before being pulled out. The neko was tiny in the wolf's arms, although the wolf itself was large compared to normal beastmen. It was difficult to make out her features while he was holding her close. The wolf offered for Shou to hold her comparing her to a kitten. "If it means I can actually see her entirely, fine." he approached and the wolf held out the Neko. She was definitely light, befitting her small size. She had a bow on her head and saphire eyes that were entrapping. "She is small. What's the age?" he turned his attention back to the wolf. With her small size, Shou couldn't tell her age easily. The age they were captured had to be between 16 and 20, and the size would hint at the younger age. If she was young enough, he could possibly teach her language which he heard made raising nekos easier.

//Unnamed Neko// //Mood: Terrified crying // As the wolf passed her petite frame over like a sack of potatoes, gently being placed in the arms of the new man, Luna couldn't help but tremble beneath the towering creatures. Now being held by the other man, the black winged demon, she could feel his hands were smaller, arms tinier than the beasts that supposedly captured her.
Just as the thick metal door swung open again, one of the previous wolves returning, she waited to see if he would reseal the exit. And, as she had hoped, he didn't.
Gotta run.. she thought, her instincts for survival beginning to take over as her watering eyes made out a clear path to freedom. A moment passed as the crow observed her, possibly not noticing her eyes staring at the door before, in seconds, she took a deep breath and pressed her hands against the crows chest, prying herself from his grip, and landing on the floor on all fours.
Before the giant wolves could manage a response, her wobbly legs stiffened up as she bolted for the door. Her heart was thrashing against her chest, her breathing staggered.
"Shut that door!" the alpha boomed, nearly causing Luna to trip just from sheer fright.

The Neko put her hands on his chest, only to push away and land on the floor. She started running for a door left open by one of the wolves. Shou unfurled his wings, stretching them in the space between cages before pushing off with them and his feet, flying after the neko. The lead wolf yelled to have the door closed, with some of the wolves in the room looking to where he was talking about. As the neko lost its footing and trip however, Shou landed right next to it, kneeling down and picking her up easily with one hand.
He lifted with his wings and held tight onto her as he manuevered back over to the lead wolf. He kept his hold on the nekop as he landed, wings folding along his back once more. "You should have better comrades. I'll take this one, I like its drive." He looked down at the neko, being held like a bundle of clothes at his side. "Might be difficult to accustom to the apartment." he thought out loud. "How much?"

//Unnamed Neko// //Mood: Terrified crying // "Gah..." the alpha put his hand to his snout before shaking his head, glaring at the other poachers who failed to make a move when one of their prize specimens nearly escaped. The neko, now completely petrified, just shivering silently while she covered her face with her hands, afraid to even make a noise while whimpering, her ears pinning forward against her head.
"Ehh...," he scratched the back of his neck, "I may want to keep here here, to train her a bit before trying to sell her. You sure you want this one? She seems unmanageable. I mean, she's tiny, which is the only reason why we haven't sent her to the butcher, but, I'm not sure she'll make the greatest house pet."
The wolf looked over to his comrades who also seemed in line with wanting to teach her a few manners, before looking back over to crow. The wolf's eyes looked down at the hanging, sobbing neko with peeked interest. "Tell you what. $3,000, in cash, and she's yours?" the ferocious hound looked back to his mates, laughing a bit before returning their attention to the crow. "What do you say?"

"$2,500. The $500 pays for me saving you a purchase and without training." Wolves may have been trying to extort him, but nekos were expensive on the normal market, upwards of 4 thousand for some of the rare and trained breeds. This one was still young, untrained and depressed. He petted the neko's head to quiet the sobbing coming from her as he stared at the wolf. "I can handle a neko by myself." as evidently you can't. he thought to himself. He was willing to push the current situation, but if a fight was broken out he was more worried about an arrest, after all poaching was legal and assault was not. Even if Shou could take on the wolf pack but it was the legal repercussions that concerned him.

//Unnamed Neko// //Mood: Terrified crying // The alpha boomed, "Sold! Ha! Thank you, sir. You did just save us a ton of trouble," though the other wolves looked somewhat disappointed, Luna slunk in the mans arms, hands covering her ears as the wolf howled, still confused and dazed from her jarring experience with the crow, let alone all of what's been happening for the past hour.
Shuttering uncontrollably, her eyes tightly closed while her hands covered her ears, reassuring herself over and over again that everything is going to be fine, she felt one of the heavy hands of the wolves pat her head as they ushered the crow out of the warehouse like room and back into the storefront, or the show room as they called it.
Lining the walls would be products from hunting to training to bags of pet food and toys. A familiar sound of a register rung in the neko's ears as one of the wolves pulled open the drawr.
"Cash, right?" a grim, burly voice shook the already shaken neko, as if to tout that he was serious about that aspect of the deal.

It was a deal, as the wolves went back to their work and Shou was lead out the warehouse and into a more normal store setting with everything related to pets. He stopped by some places, grabbing a couple things including a new collar that he expected he'd need. He read they could easily eat normal beast food so he didn't buy any as he came to an older fashioned register. He set down the neko in front of him, wrapping his wings around her to keep her from attempting to run away again.
He he counted out hundred dollar bills to the appropriate amount from his. Cash was risky these days, but Shou found it harder to lose than a checkbook or credit card. "Yes, cash." Laying down the money on the counter, he rested a hand on the neko's head and scratched lightly. "Wonder what I should call you..." he pondered.

//Unnamed Neko// //Mood: Exhausted cry // Her tears now dry, the crow placed her down at the counter, her boots clacking to the sound of her soles on tile, gently staggering back from the daze of being mentally and physically exhausted, suddenly feeling these black feathery walls encase her against the counter, restricting her movement.
She put a hand to her face, hiccups from crying so much still stuck in her throat as she felt a gentle hand scratch the top of her head, ears flickering to them accordingly. A few weird hums from the man before her hand left her eyes, the now raw, pinkened lids sliding open to reveal the bright, nearly glowing sapphire bulbs of hers as they sought after scenery, seeing the white floors and florescent glows showering them with artificial light. She squinted a bit, feeling sensitive to almost everything, even the reflection from the floor. Feeling dizzy, she placed her hands on the counter, accidental hitting the stack of cash, letting the bills scatter about the counter top.
The alpha gave a frustrated growl, her ears flickering again and turning around immediately, taking a few fearful steps back before tripping over her own boots, stumbling back into a fall onto the crow.

The neko removed her hands from her face, and Shou guessed she was calming down. She must have been kept in those cages for a long time, as she staggered, trying to support herself with the counter but only ended up knocking the cash across the counter. When the poacher growled and the neko fell back into him, he covered her with his wings. "She's panicking, No surprise being kept in there."
He gathered up the cash on the counter, keeping the neko covered with his wings. As the wolf put the items and some papers into a bag, He lowered himself, lifting the wings off of the neko and picking her up to carry her. It was still amazing how light she was, holding her up with just one arm. As the transaction finished, he opened and fished out one of the treats he bought, figuring the neko would calm down if she had something good to munch on as he offered the treat the the cat.
