There is a tale in the lands of Hyrule that speak of the hero and heroine of Hyrule. The two ignorant of the fates that lie for them to follow. They lived in peace for a few years now. Enjoying what the days have to offer them both. They enjoy their happy lives very unaware of the cruel strings of fate and destiny. This is a 1x1 Legend of Zelda RP. cimon16 and Yuri_Misawa are the only ones allowed to post in this Forum. You are welcome to read, but please do not post. Thanks.

A young lad at the age of 5, walked through the woods, hand in hand, with his parents. Today was finally when he was able to see his best friend Zelda again. It's been awhile since he has seen her due to his parents being too busy to take him, but not today. Today both of them were free and were happily walking their son to princess Zelda. They always thought the two of them looked adorable together. It would be nice if they ended up being soul mates, then Link could live happily with his best friend. Young Link pulled away from his parents to take hold of a beautiful flower. He sniffed it before running back over to where his parents were waiting. 'Zelda would love this gift. It would make her look really pretty.' Thought the young boy as they continued on their way.
Link and his parents continued walking until they finally approached the gates of Hyrule Castle. Link was so happy. He was jumping for joy and excitement. He couldn't wait. Once they reached the castle walls, the guards came up to them and asked for their id. Even though they were usual here, there has been some impostors trying to get into the castle as Link's parents. So as a precaution, they both were handed a triforce key. The parents held up their keys and they were let in soon afterward. The maid came to them and stopped in front of them. She bowed low before looking back up at them. "You can just wait in the sitting room. I'll go bring the king and queen down with princess Zelda in just a few moments." The maid walked back upstairs before knocking on the King and Queen's door. "Sorry to impose, but you have some visitors down in the waiting room. They wish to talk and brought along young master Link as well." She said before leaving to complete her other duties. She already knew they were staying a while, so she began prepping up their guest rooms for them. Yuri_Misawa This pic of Link as a kid was so cute. I just had to use it even if it does have bunny ears. lol

Its always lesson after lesson about being princess, reading books about the exact same thing, learning how to play different musical instruments, wearing stupid dresses and so on. The worst of these are those infernal dresses! There isn't a rule about her wearing a dress everyday, but everyone in the castle insists that she does because its proper for a princess. Its bad enough that she has to wear them during balls and important events, but why bother wearing them when no one but your parents, maids and servants are the only ones who will see her in a dress. On the bright side, she did enjoy playing the ocarina and the lyre, especially when Impa was the one who was teaching her. If only Link were here. Hes such a funny boy who isn't afraid to be her friend just because she is a princess. For some reason he always end up attempting to impress her with some kind of stunt and most of the time he ends up failing, but it did make her laugh. Afterward, she make sure that he isn't hurt badly and the two of them play. He is the only way out of her lessons...then the good news came! In the middle of her ocarina lesson, a maid knocked on her door and Impa went to answer it. The maid informed both Zelda and Impa that the king and queen asked for Zelda to come to the throne room. Before Zelda left, Impa insisted that she wear the red dress that her parents have been asking her to wear for a while now. After a long debate between the two, Impa won and Zelda reluctantly put on the dress and left to meet with her parents in the throne room. At least she didn't have to do her lessons for the moment. When she came to the throne room, her parents were already talking to visitors that she knew all too well. That meant Link is here! Now shes totally free from her lessons and today turned from boring into fun! Of course, as a princess she is suppose to proper, but that train of thought flew out the window as she ran towards Link and gave him a hug. "Link! You saved me!""Saved you from what exactly princess?" "U-Um...sorry papa. A-Ahem...hello travelers. Link's parents looked at Princess Zelda with a smile. The mother came forth and picked Zelda up and snuggled her closely. "Oh don't greet as if we are strangers now. You know that you are one of our own. We love you so much. And you look absolutely stunning in this dress! Isn't that right Link?" His mother asked and Link looked at Zelda. "Of course mommy! Zelda is always very pretty!" He said with so much excitement. Link was always so excitable about the simplest of things. Which made him even cuter when he wears those adorable bunny ears. Ever since he wore it for Halloween one year, he doesn't want to take them off. At first it bother his mother, but she grown accustomed to it after a while.
Link's mother placed Zelda back onto the ground and Link immediately hugged her tightly. Link pulled away and gave Zelda a high five. "Well Zelda. You know I'm the hero of Hyrule and you are going to be my princess! That's the fate of Hyrule." He said hopping up and down. "Come let's go play in the play room. Oh but before we go. Mommy, Daddy. May we go to the playroom?" He asked them. Link's father looked at them both and nodded. "Yes. We'll walk you over there." He said. A few moments later, Link and Zelda were walking hand and hand on their way to the play room with their parents walking behind them. It was such a bright an sunny day. Link looked over to the window once again in question. As the sky grew dark suddenly.
A loud crash sounded throughout the castle, shaking it to its very core. A huge crack formed inbetween Link and Zelda as the whole castle began to split in it. Link's parents grabbed onto him as Zelda's parents clutched onto her so that their kids wouldn't fall into the crater that now formed. Link looked around in fear before looking at Zelda. "Zelda!!! No!!!" He yelled as they drifted further apart. He tried fighting out of his parents' grasp, but their hold on him were firm. His parent's ran down the hall, going straight for the door, when a piece of the second floor fell on top of his father. He died on impact, blood splattered everywhere. Link looked at his father in horror, but soon his vision was blocked by his mother's hand. His mother ran and was almost home free when a piece of the floor fell through. Before his mother fell, into the hole. She tossed Link out of a double wide window that was open. Link looked at his mother and saw that there was a sad smile upon her lips. "I love you Link..." She whispered as she fell into the deep crater.
Link flew out the window just as the castle had collapsed and rolled down this very steep hill. Once he was at the botttom, Link groaned softly and stood up slowly. His whole body was aching from the roll down that hill. He looked back at the now crumbled castle and whimpered. "Mama....papa.....Zelda." He whispered to himself as he looked around. He didn't know what to do with himself, didn't know where to go either. Hopefully he'll find a familiar face. Link started walking around the castle and didn't see anyone. It seems like he was the only one that made it out alive. He frowned softly and started crying. A dark gloomy figure walked up to him and grabbed him by the throat, lifting him into the air. Link whimpered and started to hit the man's arms, but he was too weak to truly hurt him. The gloomy figure released a dark, evil aura as he brought Link close to his face and bit into his neck. Link cried out before he was dropped down on the ground. He looked back up at the gloomy man only to see that he wasn't there anymore. Link looked around for him, but couldn't find him anywhere. Not wanting to be approached by another monster, he ran far away from the castle. As fast as his little feet can carry him.

They treat her as if she is one of their own. She giggled when his mom lifted her off the ground and once again when she and Link himself told her that she looked pretty in her dress. The only time she didn't mind wearing a dress was for Link since he always likes to see her in a dress. Then she noticed the bunny ears on him. Has he been wearing those bunny ears since Halloween last year? He looks so silly with them on, but it did serve to make her laugh so she didn't mind it. Once she was back on the ground, Link hugged her tighter than she did before the two of them high-fived each other. Ah yes, Link is the hero of Hyrule. He will be the one to always save the princess. It is her favorite adventure that they play, the only time where she doesn't mind being a princess. All she needed was her parent's approval to go to the playroom and the two of them can go on adventure once again. Like Link's parents, they too said yes so long as they accompanied them to the room. That's something she didn't mind, especially since the playroom is not too far off. As they made their way to the playroom, Link had taken hold of Zelda's hand. She looked at him with her innocent smile knowing that fun is going to happen in a matter of moments...at least that's what she thought was going to happen. She didn't notice the sky went dark all of a sudden, but she felt the castle move. That shouldn't be happening, and neither should the loud crash and huge crack that formed between Link and herself. She didn't want to let go of Link, but her parents forcibly removed her hand from his to save her as she shouted his name over and over until she no longer saw him. The castle was completely falling apart, the floor above and beneath constantly collapsing, yet her family made it out of the castle and survived. As soon as they were outside, her parents saw something that Zelda couldn't see her face was pressed against her mother's shoulder. Her father quickly led the two the stable that remained intact and placed both her mother on a horse along with Zelda herself. There was no time for him to get on a horse himself as he told his wife to go despite how much she didn't want to leave him behind. That will be the last time the two of them would ever see the king alive. Her mother continued to flee on horseback with her on the meadows of Hyrule Field until they stopped at a Deku tree where the queen proceeded to hide Zelda within the bark of that tree. The last thing she would hear from her mother is "be strong. I love you" before she got on the horse and fled. As Zelda remained hidden within the tree bark, she could hear the sounds of several horse trotting the ground rapidly as if they were pursuit. Her mother will be back...of course she will. And so will her father. They wouldn't just leave here there...right? Hours went by. No sign of her mother nor her father. Zelda is all alone, cold and scared. If someone doesn't come for her soon, she will perish. Where are they? Where is mama and papa? Are they upset with her? is it because she constantly despised the lessons and didn't want to wear dresses? If so, she'll love the lessons...she'll wear dresses...she'll do everything and anything they ask with no complains! Please! Mama! Papa! Come back for me! Despite the girl's desire, they never came back for her. It would be another hour before Impa found her asleep inside the Deku tree. The woman took her out of the Deku tree and carried her over to her horse. She was not going to enjoy giving Zelda the news of what just occurred, but first she needed to bring her someplace safe since Hyrule Castle is in shambles...that was when the decision was made to bring her over to Kakariko Village."" ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

A 20 year old Link was sitting in the grass under a tree watching the leaves blow in the wind. Growing up on his own had definitely been a toll on him. He had to learn quickly that nothing was just given to you. You had to either earn it, or in his case, fight for it. Link trained every day since then and became a warrior, in his opinion. He kept his hair short, since long hair would just get in the way. Link always kept to his roots by keeping the green tunic that he always wore. The only thing he didn't keep was the bunny ears. He did for a couple of years, but when he hit the age of 9 he tossed them away. It was reminding him too much of who he used to be. On his journey, he also came across a very unique sword and claimed it as his own. Since then, he never walks around without it. The sword was his best friend that always had his back.
Link walked back into his home and headed straight to the mirror. Looking inside the mirror he saw an evil person staring right back at him. This evil person has been with him since he was 5. Its been 15 years since that traumatic memory where everything in his life went wrong. He still looks back on it and thinks that it was all a dream. But every time he looked in the mirror, he was reminded that it was indeed reality. Each time he looked in the mirror since that day, he never saw his reflection. Instead he was looking at another part of him, a very dark and evil one, that had been passed onto him. Link could never remember exactly how the creature, who gave him the curse, looked like, but could only remember the pain he received on his neck that day.
The castle was never rebuilt. Whoever did the damage made sure that it wouldn't be built again since it left a horrible evil aura around it. Rumors say that if someone were to get close to it then they too will get possessed by the evil aura. Once that spread no one dared get close to it. Link thought it was all giggles and jokes at first and actually went back to castle when he was around the age of 13. When he got at that castle, he felt as if he was quickly losing himself to something deeper and darker inside of him. Link did things that day, that he would never want anyone to do ever again. So from then on, he stayed away from the castle. Link couldn't even go visit his parents' graves.
Then there was his best friend. She was everything. He still remembered everything about her. From the clothes that she would wear, all the way down to the way she styled her hair. He remembered every detail....except her name. It seems like it was impossible to remember. Which was a real shame, because someone so important to him deserves to be remembered right? Link sighed softly before turning away from the mirror, looking at his surroundings. Link didn't really have a home. At least not like the one he had before. Instead he lived in a tree for a house. It took him years to carve the inside, but he had finally did it. So that was his home now. Looking back on his child hood days he smiled softly. He always told himself and his best friend that he was the Hero of Hyrule. Nowadays he wonders if that was ever true. And if it was, when was he going to get his opportunity to become one.

Fifteen years since the death of the king and queen as well as the disappearance of the princess. Fifteen years since Zelda's life ended, especially when she had ran away from Kakariko Village to find her parents, only to find the temple where the Triforce had been protected for centuries. The only ones capable of breaking the seal on the temple are members of the royal family. At the time, she thought that her parents were hiding inside, but when she broke the seal, the Triforce came into the contact with her, granting her abilities that far surpassed what she was previously capable of at the exchange of repressing her memories. Impa would find the changed princess and sole possessor of the Triforce. On that day, she became a target for all those who sought power, but Impa managed to keep her safe as well as train her in the ways of the Sheikah. Ten years after the fall of Hyrule, Impa passed away. The last of her family is dead, and with no home to go to, she became a nomad trying to find a purpose. That was when she came across this mysterious man who talked about bringing Hyrule back its former glory. He gained her trust and to help him out, she handed him the Triforce of Power...that turned out to be the biggest mistake she ever made. Upon receiving that power, his captured her and began to plunge the kingdom of anarchy into darkness. Fortunately she managed to escape from his clutches but from this point forward, he became the new tyrant ruler of Hyrule. Anyone who dared to question his power were eliminated. However, he is not invincible since he does not possess the remaining pieces of the Triforce, but she is a woman on the run. It got to the point that she needed to change her identity from Zelda to Sheik, which has helped her so far to remain from the tyrant's grasp for five years so far. However, she can't keep running forever. There has to be someone...someone out there who can save Hyrule from this madman...someone brave...someone courageous enough to be worthy of the Triforce of Courage. That has been her new mission for five years, which has now led her to this forest where certain individuals who escaped the "restored" kingdom of Hyrule have chosen to live within the trees safe from the madman. This may be a dead end but its worth a shot to find a hero. However, she was not aware that bandits followed her, yet when they made their move, she fought them off one by one easily taking them down. Anyone living in the trees can hear the commotion outside, but no one has come out to help her out. One bandit from afar blew a sleeping dart from a pipe that landed on her neck. By the time she took out the dart, the effects of the drug were already taking place. Any bandits that weren't unconsciousness got up and laughed as this woman made futile attempts to fight back only to get beaten over and over again until she couldn't get up anymore. With the woman too weak and falling asleep, they picked her off the ground and proceeded to strap her to horse, where they are going to take her to their hideout unless someone intervenes."" ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

Link walked outside his home to get some fresh forest air. Being inside for too long usually suffocated the young man. He was about to grab a bucket to do some house chores with when he started to hear some unusual sounds in the distance. Usually the forest was always quiet. At least in the area that he lived in. Curious to the source of the noise, he began walking towards. As he got closer so did the noise, which for some reason made him pick up the pace. He hopped into a tree and glanced down to see a bunch of bandits walking through the forest. Usually he wouldn't have bothered them since they were just walking, but on one of the bandit's shoulder caught his eye. There was a sleeping male.
Link looked around the scene and looked at the bandits appearance. They looked pretty battered up and he could see a needle in the distance. It didn't take long after that to decide that they were kidnapping the man. Link hoped down from the trees and the bandits turned around at the sound. They pulled out their weapons ready to fight him, but they were no match. Link didn't even bother pulling out his deadly friend because it would be a waste of energy. Link dashed up to the bandits and thrashed them. One by one knocking them unconscious. One man did manage to cut his cheek, but that was all. Link pulled out his bow and shot four arrows at the bandit which pinned the poor man against a tree. Link walked up to the main aiming a bow at the bandit's forehead. "Talk. Who are you working for?" He asked.
The bandit was practically scared to hell and back. He instantly spilled everything that he knew, which wasn't much in Link's book. He could tell that this guy was just an errand runner. The true mystery leader not letting someone as weak as him know the secrets or reasons for his actions. "If I ever see you in this forest again. I will kill you." He whispered before releasing the man. The man ran for his dear life leaving his friends behind. Hopefully they will get the hint of their missing friend and leave as well. Link turned his attention to the sleeping man on the ground and lifted him over his shoulder and carried him back to his home. Link laid the man on his bed before heading over to get a bucket of cool water.
Link wanted to make sure that the man wasn't injured and took of the man's shirt only to blush heavily. He quickly pulled the man....um woman's shirt down. Quickly coming to the decision that she didn't have any wounds. He placed a folded face rag onto the woman's forehead. She was feeling a little hot, so hopefully after she cooled down then all will be well. Then he could really get some answers from her. Link sat down in a chair not to far from the bed and pulled a book off the shelf nearby. He began reading more about Hyrule's history, waiting for the mystery woman to awaken.

Link was reading one of his favorite and most motivational books in his collection. It was about a hero saving the princess and the world from the villain. He never got tired of this novel. It was just so inspiring to him. Its what made him the man he is now. When he heard some sheets ruffling he lifted his eyes to look at the woman holding very sharp needles in his hands. He placed the book down on the end table beside him before standing up and walking towards her. "Well isn't this a nice way to thank your savior. And here I was thinking I would be getting a lot of thanks from you." He said before placing his palm against her forehead. "Well it seems that your fever has gone down, but you still need some rest. That sleeping poison that they used on you is some pretty strong stuff." He said grabbing the rag that was once on her forehead and dipping it in the cool water that was in the bucket.
Link made sure that the rag was damp, but not soaked, before walking back over to her. He pressed against the woman's shoulder making her lay down. He laid the rag back on her forehead before finally answering her question. "My name is Link. You can let your guard down. I don't plan on doing anything to you, but nurse you back to health. You are in my home. Yes I know that its inside a tree, but its all I have now to a home." He whispered softly before removing the rag from her forehead. "Thristy?" He said handing her a cup of water. He sat it on the end table so that she can grab it if she wanted it. "So tell me. What is a girl like you doing out here in a forest like this, dressed like that? And why were those bandits after you?" He asked as he sat back down in his chair. He just saved this woman's life. The least she could do is tell him what's going on.

If he known the life that Sheik has been living, he wouldn't have been so quick to ask for thanks because he saved her. In dark times like this, no one truly believes there are heroes, only villains and bystanders. Anytime she felt like she can trust someone, she always been stabbed in the back or left alone. He may be a bystander so he may only be treating her wounds just to get her to leave. Its better that happens than getting stabbed afterward. She continued to observe him after he checked her forehead for a sign of fever reduction. Sleep poison? Oh...that's right. The bandits from earlier. They drugged her and planned on taking her to someplace where she can be sold off as a slave, an illegal business made legal by the new tyrant of Hyrule. This boy saved her from such a fate, but if he expects to be rewarded in some way, he is sorely mistaken. Unfortunately there is nothing she can do but recover from the effects of the drugs. When the boy came back, he introduced himself as...Link? Why did that name sound so familiar...and comforting? Mentioning his name caused her right hand to burn up a bit, although she made no quick movement to grasp her hand to block out the pain. She also made no move to grasp the cup of water at the end table because Link did deserve an answer to his question. Its the least she can do for someone who got involved in a bandit's business. The needles that formed in her right hand disappeared before she said,"...I am a nomad known as Sheik and I am on a mission. As you may be aware, this land has a ruler of darkness: King Ganondorf. After he came to power five years ago, Hyrule has become a land of despair and villainy. All heroes that every challenged the evil king have been eliminated...but I know of a way to stop him. So does the evil king, but I have managed to keep my distance from him for five years. Unfortunately, I cannot defeat him on my own...I have to find a hero that is worthy. That is has been my quest these last five years. As for the bandits, the slave business is at all time high. I can only imagine that was their intention for me...so thank you. If you had not intervene, my mission would be in jeopardy...don't worry. I'll be out of your life momentarily so I can continue my search." ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

Link listened to her story and frowned softly. After the tragic incident that happened 15 years ago, he never paid much attention to the new leader or his rules. He just stayed away and lived his peaceful life here in the forest. It was much more calm than dealing with others in the town. Everyone there was usually miserable or scared for their lives. He was still curious till this day why people still lived in that town. It made no sense to him. Link stood up feeling the sudden urge to look into the mirror when she spoke of his previous home town. He closed his eyes and opened them to see red eyes staring right back at him. He sighed softly at the evil reflection that continues to haunt him.
Link looked away from his 'reflection' to look at the female. "It's interesting the way you speak of the ruler of Hyrule. Funny how it works out, but I used to know the royal family. They were like a second family to me, but unfortunately they all died when the castle collapsed." He said softly before looking away thinking of how his own and his second family were all destroyed in a matter of moments. Link shrugged off the depressing feeling and breathed softly. It was all in the past and he had come to accept what fate had for him. "Well, don't rush yourself too hard. If you go out there too early then you'll be in the same predicament you are in now and I may not be there to save you." He said with a small chuckle. Link pulled his chair to be right beside Sheik before sitting in it. "Well good luck with your quest. I would offer you my assistance, but it seems that you don't seem like the kind of person who likes to work with others outside your clan."

Perhaps hes like this too but with only a slight bit of hope that life could be better someday. This she hasn't seen in anyone yet, but he appeared to be troubled by...something. She noticed this when she watched him look at his reflection in the mirror, but unlike him, all she sees is his as well as her own reflection, not the evil within him. When he looked back at her, he told her about how he used to know the royal family and they were a second family to him until the castle collapsed. So he was there when the kingdom had been invaded and all of the royal family had been slaughtered except for the princess Zelda, although now she is presumed dead. Both her head and her heart began to ache as she started to have blurry visions of the past. These visions came in a flash and she couldn't make sense of them. When the visions ended, Link was there telling her not rush herself. Otherwise she will end up in a situation where he may not be there to save her. As much as she wanted to leave for his sake and to continue with her mission, she has to recuperate first. Seeing that she is going to be stuck here for some time, she decided to get a little bit more comfortable by removing her shawl and turban, waving her head side to side for her hair to flow. Then she drank some of water from the glass on the table before she said to him,"My clan were once the warriors hiding in the shadows and guardians of the royal family but now...there is no one left of my clan. My teacher and I were the only ones left, but she passed away seven years ago, so I am the only one of my kind that's left. All others I have turned to either ridiculed me for even thinking about defeating the king or betrayed me. Even I am losing hope about my own mission, but I have to keep going. Hyrule deserves a better ruler, but it needs a hero courageous enough who upholds the values of righteousness, justice and fairness." ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

Link took the now empty cup from her and placed it over on the counter. He walked back over to her and smiled. "Well don't lose track of your mission. It seems that the fate of Hyrule is resting in your hands now." He said before sitting down in the same chair. "I'm sorry to what happened to your clan and teacher, but that should give you even more motive to finish the mission and save Hyrule." Link then thought about who could be the hero of Hyrule. How would she even find him? He had a sudden flashback of when he was younger with his best friend suddenly and remembered the adventure they would always play. 'I'm the Hero of Hyrule and your my princess!!'
The memory of his past went away and he was left there with a million questions. Should he give up his peaceful life to help those that he doesn't even know? This wasn't just a fairy tale. This was real and if he decided to go on it would he be fatally wounded? Would he ever become a hero? He turned away from Sheik and grabbed the book that he left on the end table. Even though he read this thick book thousands of times, there was never one time where he didn't want the opportunity to become a hero. Looking back at Sheik, he smiled softly. "Sheik....you may not approve of this, but I'm coming with you on your journey. As the man who is going to save Hyrule." He said before moving away from the temporary bed ridden female.
Link went to his chest and began pulling out the items that he would need on this trip. This was his one opportunity to redeem his family and his best friend's family name. He wasn't just going to let it fly by. "You might object, but let's be honest. You are very strong, but not stronger than me. There are things I went through that I wouldn't wish upon my greatest enemy." He said before closing his chest. Link went over a mental checklist of items he could used and began packing them with his green tunic. "So when you are feeling better, we will be on our way." He said with a smile before walking over to Sheik and turning off the lamp that was beside her so that the house was dark. "Get some rest. We have a long journey ahead of us and I don't need to be held down by someone who is too stubborn to sleep." he said with a chuckle before leaving the room. Link walked over to the couch and laid down on it. Soon falling asleep as his cheek landed on the pillow.

Everyone else she came into contact with over the past five years told her to give up, so now comes this boy telling her to do the exact opposite. Could...could he be the one she has been searching for? Will, she can't make the same mistake she made seven years ago, but she has to make sure that he will endure every trail that they will undergo on the road to defeating the Evil King. It won't be as simple as marching up to his castle and fighting him. He has an entire army at his disposal, not to mention strongholds that support him with power. There will be time to explain to Link what her plans are, but she will have to wait and see until tomorrow to see if he intended on traveling with her. She wanted to tell him no, but she doesn't have many options left and eventually someone else will get involved in her battle against the evil king. For now, she closed her eyes and rested for the evening with the intention of waking up early in the morning. When morning came, she woke up and tried to get up from bed. The drug had completely worn off, so she was at peak physical condition once more. She left Link's house and waited for him outside. While she waited, she took out her lyre and began to play the song of the Royal Family that Impa taught her.
