Down with the Queen

Once Upon a Time their was a small, but important, Kingdom
There lived the King and Queen who where glorious Rulers.
One day the queen was walking in her rose garden when she pricked her thumb, and she wished "How I wish I had children White as Snow, Red as Blood and as Dark as my Onyx wedding ring" and 9 months later she gave birth to twins.
One with Hair black as Onyx, skin pale as snow and lips red as blood...the other with Hair so white it was like spider webs , skin pale as snow and lips so black it was like the midnight of no moon, and a body as warm as fresh blood.
They never met their mother for she died a week later, then the war began...

For 16 years the devastated king tried to defend his kingdom, but as the years went on he failed. Offering peace the leader of the attacking army offered his daughter, and they married right away...but what the king didn't know was that the women he was getting married to was a witch obsessed with beauty...
and it wasn't peace on the new Queen's mind.

While the Prince does not have a great deal of magic he has a little that allows him to keep his troops morale up and some times boost his abilities in combat

The Mirror Man

The Mirror Man was once a street rat, until one night he pick pocketed the wrong women and was cursed into the mirror. Now he's the Mirror man, he can leave the mirror when ever he likes (Kind of, the mirror is his home he can't really LEAVE leave- he can walk around but if his mirror is broken he can die or be injured), he's the one that responds to "mirror mirror", he can also give beauty to people (outward not inward beauty) but that beauty can't be taken away unless the person that received the beauty says "I wish to be myself again", as well when you receive the beauty he gives you have to do something to keep it up, for example be the fairest in the land...so hes a little magical (Other then that do as you will)

Bio: Leon is the first Prince born of Addencreed and brother to the magical Queen. His mother died giving birth to him and he thinks that his father never forgave him for it. As such Leon took on the task of being both Prince and Solider. His father married another woman and had a daughter. Leon never liked her for he knew about her magic and didn't trust her, but what cut more was even though he went to war for his father leading his forces in hopes that he would be forgiven for the death of his mother. Leon was gravely wounded on the battle field and was saved, by his step mother. She came to his aid and left his father's side for a time which also gave him his father's resentment. After being healed the magic that his step mother used to heal his wound seeped into his body and allowed him to become an even greater warrior and strategists, even if he doesn't realize it.

She slipped and fell over the side but she had clung to the edge of the cliff screaming for help. The Prince that was to be wed had come from no where and resued her. Although it might have seemed like nothing for him, but for her, she was grateful and could never pay him back. That was when her feeling for him had started

Personality: a Cold, Vein and wicked women who is concerned mainly with her appearance rather then the real world. She loves beauty and perfection in all of its forms and would rather spend her time making beautiful perfection.

Bio: Uriel Nasaja Breylein is the first and only daughter of the king of Addencreed, long before she was born and on the kings wedding day no less an oracle came to the wedding and told the king that if his first born if it was a girl would destroy his kingdom. Her father did everything in his power to make sure that his first born was not a girl, took medications and herbs, spoke with sexual advisers and magical beings, but no matter what he did or what happened it was destined to be that his first born would be a girl. She was born on a cold snowing august on Lammas. It was a rare time when snow really did touch the ground in August and her mother was in labor for hours before finally the King of Addencreed's first born came into the world, a baby girl with white hair and silver eyes. The king had not expected a girl and so never thought of a female name so he named her the name he would have given his first born son. The king was scared and feared the worst so he had his wife and new born daughter locked away in a high tower without any door or window and for most of her life Uriel resided in the tall tower and would sing out the window every morning until one day she caught the attention of a lovely prince of another kingdom who found a way up into her tower where they fell in love. Uriel would then end up having her first child, a son who would then become the prince of Addencreed...but it was soon after this that her father would have a use for his estranged daughter and to end the war he married her off to the King of the Kingdom bartering her away to her enemies.

Personality: Mirror tends to come off a bit cold and harsh at times due to how most people will simple use him as a tool. Even when he leaves the mirror, he will rarely try to make friends with anyone and tends to move about on his own, simply wanting to explore the areas outside of his confined realm. Mirror isn't very good with talking to people outside of when he is summoned. Since people who have summoned him know what he looks like, most people have become aware of his appearance. Due to this, Mirror wears a dark cloak that hides his face. Once Mirror warms up to someone however, he is fiercely loyal to them and will do whatever he can to help them.

Bio: Mirror was once a orphaned street rat who's only means of survival was to steal from the wealthy people of the kingdom. Then one day, he was caught by a woman who then cursed him before he was swallowed by darkness. When he regained consciousness, Mirror was in the Mirror Realm (see extras) and couldn't recall his past or even his name.

It didn't take him long to learn about what he was required to do. People would appear on mirrors as they chanted "Mirror, mirror, on the wall..." then he would have to answer their calls. Since he couldn't remember his own name, he decided to pick up the name Mirror.

People summoned and left, summoned and left, the repeating cycle of people using him like some tool quickly changed Mirror's view of humans, of which he now did not consider himself as. He could watch people as they moved around through his mirrors that reflected the open world outside his cage. The corrupted, the heartless, the ruthless, the traitors, the death. Mirror had seen them all more than any other being would in their lifetime.

As time pass, Lana grow jealous of her sister, the one everyone loved and cared for. Now with her step mother coming, Lana wishes to go out to her own, away from the castle and to the rest of the world

Bio:
It started with a wish, hair as black as onyx, skin pale as snow, lips red as blood, a daughter of the old queen. Snow was a very kind compassionate child who's outgoing personality captivated those around her. For the first few years of her life Snow was the perfect princess, but as the war went on she decided to learn to fight. At first her father was against his daughter learning swordplay and archery, but she found a way to persuade him; like most daughters all she had to do was ask at the right time with the right expression. She had wanted to be able to defend not only herself but also her father and sister, she chose weapons because she knew nothing of the latent magic deep within her. As the years went by her skills with both a bow and a blade increased; yet as she finally felt ready to help her people her father negotiated a deal with his enemies. In exchange for peace he'd marry the other king's daughter giving Snow a new stepmother, it was that event that caused sweet little Snow to become the rebellious girl she is today.

Personality: Corvus has a love hate relationship with the queen, but cares little for humans otherwise. He favors royalty more so than other people when it comes to dealing with humans, and has been sighted around tyrants and royal blood constantly. He loves conflict brewing in human civilization and often intervenes to escalate it.

Bio: No one knows exactly where Corvus comes from or for how long he has been around, but he is a being that has been in legends and myths for hundreds of years. Corvus is the Raven, a symbol of both fear and in some cases tyranny. The last widely known appearance of Corvus was nearly 50 years ago, although he does not appear to age. He became acquainted with kings and queens, including the recent queen Uriel Nasaja Breylein. He adored the queen instantly with her attitude and history. He began to teach the pincess magic during her time in the tower and helped to attract a prince. Now that the princess was to become a queen as a political pawn, he was delighted to follower her and her son with his murder of crows, which are always at his command, to a new kingdom for his entertainment.

Personality: Aria has a good heart, though she acts tougher than she is, and can be firm about her decisions. She can take control easily when she is trying to make a baking deadline for the royal family. She doesn't take her position as head baker lightly, and always finds a way to make it happen. She is secretly very depressed about her condition.

Bio: Ari is the head baker for the castle, having learned everything she knows from her [now deceased] mother. She is literate for a castle servant, as she often follows written recipes and has to write on the tops of cakes. She is proud of her job, although she is harboring a great secret. She is terribly ill, and has been from birth. She doesn't know exactly what's wrong with her, and no doctor has been able to tell her either... not that she could afford the health care anyways.

Whatever it is, the symptoms seem to be getting worse with all of the physical labor of the castle life, and Ari is desperate for any kind of help. She has seen fortune tellers, and shamans, and a few "potion" merchants. Recently a small slip of paper appeared in her apron, with instructions and the note "Maybe he can help". Ari doesn't know what will happen when she follows the instructions on the paper... but she's willing to try anything, at this point.

Bio: Jace has lived his whole life in Addencreed. He never knew his father growing up, yet he grew very close to his mother. Once his grandfather found out about him, he made Jace a servant in the castle. A few years ago his mother was sent away to be wed to the king of an attacking kingdom for peace. His grandfather is cruel and abusive to him, even though Jace tries to do everything to the best of his ability. He can't wait until the day his grandfather is gone and either his uncle or he is the king of Addencreed.
