[Bonfire PRP] The Wandering Woods..

Into the woods we go..

Gathering wood:

Your kin decides to help venture out into the swamplands in search of relatively dry wood that they can bring back to keep the bonfire burning hot and strong -- a blaze that can keep the party going for days.

To head out on this adventure:
Roll 1d6, and roleplay out your kin finding the item that corresponds to your roll:
1 - Small twigs and items that will be good for spreading and lighting fire. +1 point
2 - Oh no! Wet wood! You can't bring this back.
3 - A small log. You can easily carry it by balancing it on your back, if you go slowly. +2 points
4 - A large log. It is too big to carry back! If you're doing this quest alone, you must abandon it. If you're with someone else, +4 points each!
5 - Oh no! You step into a big puddle on your way back and lose your wood. -1 point
6 - A great leafy branch! You can carry it in your teeth. +4 points

Continue rolling and replying until you have a total of 10 points!

Golden was busy humming a rather pretty tune as she slowly ambled down one of the rockier pathways through the woods. She was enjoying the rather warm rays of golden sun upon her back and the melodious sound of birds as they fluttered from branch to branch. Ah, beauty at its finest. The motherfather was quite the artist. Smiling warmly she tilted her nose up to scent some of the finer aromas the afternoon had blessed them with in the form of a passing breeze when all of a sudden she spotted an absolutely darling little sparrow perched on a rock by a tree. Stopping abruptly she fawned and cooed over it, wrinkling her nose delightedly.


















Fate was wandering down the same rather rough looking path behind her sister trying to carry a rather large looking branch in her mouth. She didn't really mind. Her thoughts were miles from here and upon far more grim matters. Then again being a little clairvoyant could be problematic if it weren't tuned for the immediate future and, unfortunately, she failed to see in her minds eye that Golden had decided to stop at that moment to look at YET ANOTHER BIRD for the millionth time. Fate bumped into her, dropping the branch in the water where it became useless. Gazing down at it she raised her brows and sighed a little, her only words being. "Should have seen that coming." She didn't mind that the wood had gotten wet, in fact she knew there was plenty in this area, she was just less thrilled by Goldens ridiculously dramatic apology. It would likely go on for some time.
