[Bonfire Solo] Find Food, Actually [Find Peace]

And there she was, the belle of the bonfire. But not actually, as Find Peace shyly skirted the edges of the celebration. While she'd been to the Festival of Plenty before, many times, she always found herself rather overwhelmed by the large number of kin who made it, and every year's crowd only seemed to grow larger. As it turned out, that worked in her favor: Find Peace had been thrilled to run into one of her sons, passing out food like a good boy. That was Something Good, all right, and he was keen to impress on her that going out to get food wasn't a bad idea if she was needing a break.

Despite her son's insistence, Dove decided she'd like to go this alone. She'd bring him back a nice snack and they could catch up, but for now, she needed a quiet chance to explore. Boon had suggested a nearby fruit grove, but seemed quite firm on telling her to leave any pomegranates she might see alone...

It was a shame, really, because the only other fruit tree here was a very sad-looking apple tree. Discouraged, but not so discouraged that she'd give up the search completely, Dove left.

While there were no trees in this new clearing, Dove found herself drawn in anyway. The festival seemed like a far-off memory with how quiet it was here. Oh, a little nap couldn't hurt! It sounded like the best way to refresh before returning to the bonfire, ready to take in the energetic atmosphere anew. Just a quick doze, no need to worry Boon by taking too long!

Dove couldn't quite remember what she had dreamt of once she awoke. Only that she could have sworn she'd caught the scent of flowers, despite the empty clearing...

Not sure of just how long she'd been gone, Dove decided to return to the bonfire, albeit rather sheepishly -- she hadn't been able to find anything. However, on her way back, she nearly stepped through some tracks, and took a last minute detour. While she found herself in some hunting grounds, Dove's only quarry would be acorns!

In truth, Dove had felt bad about taking a squirrel's stash. Boon had needed to reassure her that the creature would probably be fine, really, and she felt better already, knowing her son hadn't found her concerns silly at all.
