[Open Class] Your Very Own Halloween Costume! (Gzifa)

These Halloweeners she'd met so far have been quite...interesting. So piqued was her interest in them that the war horsewoman would now dare venture onto the school grounds, finding that she blended in quite well in the sea of students. Though she must say, their life looked as boring as it was in the tower with them just milling about from class to class.

Moving with the crowd, she found herself in the confines of a classroom with an emphasis on a number of boxes that were lined up on the ground. Gzifa squeezed past one or two students, approaching them and bending down to view its contents.

What's this? she squinted, pulling out a pumpkin stump hat. And another. And another. The war horsewoman quickly deemed them inedible and therefore uninteresting, rummaging the box for something else.

The glittery confection of a dress was held up with much disdain, with her taking particular offense at the completely useless set of fairy wings sewn onto the back. Why would anyone want these when they could have the real thing? she pondered, rustling her wings in protest.

With the box emptied and its former contents strewn onto the side, the tiny horsewoman moved her attention to the next one, pulling out a pirate's tunic. This one was much better, she surmised, holding it up and turning it back and forth to look at the garment. She let it slide to the ground, occupying her hands with something else from the box.

A pumpkin? Like the strange hats from ones before, this one was inedible. But very squishy. Gzifa took a swing at the plush suit, pummeling a punch into it. Hm.

The next article from the box was a simple pointed black hat, which even she could instinctively recognise its function, cramming it onto her head immediately. Gzifa let it stand, looking upwards to see its effect on her appearance. It made her look a bit taller, and she quite liked that.

She was beginning to tire of the strange clothing that filled the boxes, rummaging through them until her hands found something a bit more solid. Gzifa drew a sword from the pile, brandishing it with much more vigor and interest. Now this was something far more to her taste.

For some reason, everyone was getting dressed into those costumes. Gzifa turned around to observe the rest of the class, watching to see what they were up to. Was this their war dress? It was a bit too much clothing for her liking.

Only then did she notice that there was a snake lady at the front of the class, where everyone seemed to be gathering to for something. One by one, the halloween students would come up to her and explain their choice of attire, some spinning up wild tales to describe their concepts. The horsewoman sat around listening, starting to grow bored of the repetitive stories until someone nudged her to say that her turn was coming up soon.

Scrunching up be face, she returned to the messy pile of costumes on the floor, picking out the few pieces she had just looked at. The pumpkin suit had her most curious, and trying it on saw the costume engulfing her tiny figure. The pirate's tunic was cast over the orange plush suit, for a variety in colour, and she armed herself with the sword once more. The hat, she already had on the entire time.

Soon, she found herself in a strange situation of being the center of attention in the class. And much as she was typically confident in herself, she was not used to being looked upon with so much expectation.

“Uh,” she began, waving the sword around carelessly and scaring a few students back. “Brave warrior,” the sentences came out in disjointed fragments, as she continued the act of keeping the sword aloft.

Gzifa patted her belly, emphasizing the pumpkin suit she was in. “Eated by pumpkin, but fought alive.” She nodded. “I kills it, and eated it back, so still alive and fighting!!!” The horsewoman grinned, taking a step forward that was largely inhibited by the suit.

“Yes.” She concluded, beaming widely at the snake teacher. A small clap broke the silence, followed by a few more out of sympathy. Meanwhile it looked as though the snake lady was almost crying, which the war horsewoman could only assume that it was because she was so moved by her tale of gallantry. Incredibly pleased with her work her today, the horsewoman tore off the costume and toss it aside, strutting out of the classroom proudly. Heh, and they called this a school? Lessons here were so easy compared to the tough warrior training she had been through, it was no wonder than all these Halloween denizens were so soft. She'd be a better teacher to them here, she'd reckon, and lesson number one was to be How to Kill a Human.
