Mizuki, a young wild Liepard, was outside of her home, bathing in the sunlight as well as taking a nap, but was about to wake up from getting too warm. She got up stretching with a yawn. She was a strong Liepard, despite how young she was. Her attacks included, Grass Knot, Dark Pulse, Shadow claw, and Iron tail. Her speed and power were unmatched in this area.

Though lately, she'd been stealing food from shop keepers who had food. Whenever they would try to get their food back, she would attack them and sometimes would even break the skin with her claws and fangs before taking off towards her many homes in the town and forest, so it was hard to keep track of where she'd go. The villagers were getting anxious about her being in town and were counting on a trainer, that officer Jenny hired, to at least try to catch her and put an end to her stealing days.

Fae Silvercrest, a young trainer hired by Officer Jenny, was on her way to the town. At her side was an Arcanine, Nero, he knew flamethrower, fire blast, take down, and fire fang. She also had a Ninetails and a Glaceon. Reaching the town, Fae went to find officer Jenny, she needed to know more about what was happening.

Officer Jenny was waiting with her officers outside the station. Meanwhile, Mizuki had just stolen food from another person's meat locker along with some of their home grown vegetables, digging them up and ruining the gardens she got them from. She was in her home underneath an old butcher shop, where she started eating. Meanwhile Officer Jenny was explaining everything to Fae. "So basically, we need to get the Liepard to stop stealing. The trouble is, she has so many hideouts, that it's hard to know where she'll hide next. Those who have found her have tried setting traps, but she's attacked a few people to the point they're worried that she could attack children and their pokemon next. She's evaded us capturing and relocating her as well. That's why we're hiring you to see if you can do the job. We can show you where all of her hideouts are and will provide you with what you'll need. But everything else is up to you." Jenny said wanting to help in any way she and her officers could.

"Hmm, that is very odd indeed, but I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, tell the residents not to try anything else to catch her, we don't need anymore people getting hurt." Fae adjusted her glasses, thanking them for the information they had on Liepard, then left the station. This was going to be difficult, with so many hideouts, it was also going to be time consuming, Fae would have to find a place to stay during that time. For now, she didn't mind spending a couple of nights under the stars, it also gave her an idea.
Instead of trying to trap the Liepard, she would let her come to where she was, offer some food and gain her trust. Fae would have to admit, it was a long shot, yet she had to try, or come up with a different plan if it failed. After gathering up supplies, she found a perfect spot to set up camp, "Alright, that should do it, hopefully my plan works."

Mizuki had finished eating and was walking towards her main home in the forest, near where Fae was setting up camp. She then saw Fae setting up and a low growl escaped her throat. She bared her fangs a bit, not liking seeing a human and her pokemon in her territory. Mizuki wouldn't do anything for now as long as the human was gone by morning, but she was unaware that Fae was here for her. Though Mizuki was going to watch this human for a while, just to be safe. She kept down wind so if Fae had any pokemon with her, they wouldn't catch Mizuki's scent and blow her cover.

Having set up camp, Fae was now making herself some dinner, that's when she felt eyes watching her, sending a shiver up her back. She figured it could be Mizuki, yet she made no attempt to see if she could spot her, Fae just went about the task at hand. Once dinner was done, Fae let her Pokemon out, so the could eat and get some fresh air as well, "Alright you three, bed time in ten minutes, I don't want to hear any complaining." She teased. The ten minutes soon passed, she returned her Pokemon to their ball, except for Nero; the Arcanine was happily asleep at her side, so she just tucked into her sleeping bag and called it a night.

Mizuki waited until Fae was sound asleep before she started sneaking around the campsite as silently as she could, without disturbing anyone. She started going through Fae's bag, quietly before she jumped a bit seeing Nero moving some. She took off knocking over something that made a loud crash. Though by the time they would see her, she would be running into the bushes towards town, not stopping until she was in an old abandoned house where she was born. Her mother was gone now as well as the old woman whom she knew since that day. Both of them were no longer of this world. Mizuki wasn't used to humans being nice anymore. Her mother was killed by a car after they left the house. Her sister who was a shiny, found a home in Lumiose City in Kalos once they were old enough to leave their mother. Once she was sure no one was behind her, she started grooming herself to try and get some of the burrs from the bushes out of her fur.

Fae woke up when she heard the crash, she managed to just see Mizuki running off into the dark, while Nero was up and standing guard. Reaching out and placing a hand on the Arcanine's neck, she ruffled his fur, "Settle down, I'm not hurt, looks like our friend is a curious one. Come, let's go back to sleep, it's going to be a busy day tomorrow." Come the next morning, Fae had gone into the forest, she gathered up a good amount of berries, before returning to camp. Using her own secret recipe, she whipped up a batch of Pokemon food, leaving some for Mizuki, along with some berries, then packed up her camp.
Hoping her little gift would be found by her, Fae went back into town, doing a little investigation of her own, she asked around about the Liepard.

Mizuki had found the food and was very cautious about eating it, but she ate it hungrily. After she finished, she went into town in a sneaky way. Meanwhile someone had been talking about Mizuki's past with Fae. The old woman died in her sleep while Mizuki's mother's body was burned in a house fire and she was unable to be saved. Mizuki was out and about when the fire from the heating blanket the old woman was using started getting too hot and started the fire. The house was not able to be lived in afterwards but Mizuki could be seen going there sometimes when she wasn't being sneaky. Mizuki was on her way to her mother and the old woman's graves, which were side by side wishing she could see them again.

Writing down some notes, Fae bowed slightly, then continued on her way. Finding the remains of the burned house, she looked around a little, but didn't touch anything, Fae could sense there was something meaningful about it. "Interesting, the energies here aren't angry, but rather sad. I think I understand now..." Saying a few words, she left and went to look for hotel to stay at, but went to check on the spot she had spent the night before first, finding the food gone.
Fae smiled slightly, it was the start of her plan, now she had to find Mizuki herself. As she walked to the nearest hotel, she happened to pass the cemetery, where she caught a glimpse of a figure near a pair of headstones. Talking a chance, she went into the cemetery, slowly coming up on the Liepard, yet she kept her distance. "You miss them, don't you?"

Mizuki growled as she heard Fae's voice before she turned around to see the same human that was in her territory last night. She bared her fangs at the girl standing before her before she ran off towards the back entrance of the cemetery as fast as she could towards the woods, after launching a Shadow Ball at Fae to distract her while Mizuki made her get away. of course she didn't intend to hit Fae but knew it was a possibility.

Fae saw the shadow ball coming at her, but before she could dive out of the way, a stream of fire hit it. Nero had just used flamethrower, and was now standing beside Fae, "That's my good boy, let's not disturb these grounds anymore, come on." The two of them left, going to check into a hotel, yet there wouldn't be a room until tomorrow night, which was fine, she didn't mind another camp out.
Fae visited a few of the shops around town, restocking some of her supplies, then taking her Pokemon to a pokecenter, so that they could get a proper rest. She decided to let them stay overnight, that would prove to be a bad idea that night, as Fae was sitting by the fire, a couple of thugs came up on her, demanding she gave up all her money. Of course, Fae wasn't going to give in, yet she had no way of fighting them off, her options were slim to none.

As one of the thugs was about to grab Fae, Mizuki used grass knot while she was watching from the bushes. The thugs were intertwined in the vines and grass that seemed to grow out of no where. They were confused and scared. Mizuki then started to walk off before one of the thug's pokemon came out and tackled her into view before she was bit on the leg and called out in pain before she used Iron Tail on the houndoom, throwing the fire/dark pokemon into a tree. She then winced a bit as her now bleeding left was causing her pain. She then limped off into the bushes holding her leg in the air. She was hurt on her right front leg, so she had a deeper limp than she would if it was her back leg. The Houndoom really hurt her. Though before long, she was out of sight on her way to her home.

That was more than enough excitement for one night, Fae drowned the fire, then got her things, going to pick up her Pokemon. After that, she set out to find the injured Liepard, Fae couldn't just leave her like that. Going back to her camp site, she had Nero track the scent of blood, following after him once he had it. "Now remember, do not attack, we're here to help her."

Mizuki, having lost a lot of blood through the wound on her leg, was getting dizzy and was stumbling until she stopped and fell to the ground. She was so tired from blood loss but was fighting it. She did however, see the old lady and her mother, or what she thought was them. She couldn't tell if it was them or not due to a different scent that was in the air from Fae and Nero. Poor thing was fading slowly, and if she wasn't taken to the pokemon center soon, she'd become too cold to survive or die of blood loss. She was about a few minutes away from the local pokemon center, the place where she was born. Though she used to trust nurse joy, she didn't anymore.
