It wasn’t entirely uncommon for her wanderings to lead her to new places she had yet to explore, but it was a surprise - even to Keep Going - that she found herself traversing near the very edge of the swamp, where the wetlands gradually became the drylands. The nomadic doe was curious what laid beyond and considered whether or not to continue her journey, but before she did anything she elected to indulge in a little break. She had been traveling for quite some time; it would be nice to rest a bit prior to going anywhere else.
She stretched out her legs and gave her long, shaggy tail a good swish. Now that she was officially taking it easy for a while, she considered finding something to eat. Fish had always been her go-to choice, but with some tasty vegetation sprouting from the nearby marsh, well…she couldn’t exactly ignore the delicious plants, now could she? Nope. Stepping over, she didn’t hesitate to take her first hungry mouthful. Ahhh, yes. That would surely hit the spot.
Ishtadaal Breaktime is a GREAT time for meeting friendly faces~

Diaphanous loved mornings. There were few things the chubby buck didn't adore– sunrises, twilights, evenings... even those rare occasions where the moon decided to change her mind about what face she wanted to show the swamp that night. But mornings– before the sun had a chance to reach the soft greens around here– meant that the plants around were tender and covered in dew.
Which, in turn, meant the chubby buck was doing what he did best– mowing down soft greenery while he looked for his next target. His head down, only his horns poked up from the tall stand of plants he was entrenched in, but he was very content with his lot– this stuff he'd found was scrumptious, and as somewhat of a self-proclaimed glutton, he certainly knew his way around the swamp's selection of food.
What he didn't intend was to take a mouthful of grasshopper with his last bite– as it started to twitch and kick in side his mouth, he opened it in shock– and the creature bounded out.
The buck giggled at that, after the shock subsided, and then giggled some more, enraptured by the tiny creature's daring escape from a lumbering giant. How funny!

It was the musical sound of laughter that eventually drew Keep Going away from her meal. She blinked, straightened out her neck, and tried to poke her head around the tall stack of plants to see who might have decided to join her. She did love company, regardless if she knew them or not, and she felt that it would be pleasant to have a potential conversation with someone before she resumed her travels. It was the little things in life, after all, and she’d never been one to shy away from them. If anything, she was all for new and inviting opportunities.
Swallowing her mouthful, she rounded the collection of greens with hopes to find the source of her curiosity. Eventually, she happened across what looked like an Acha. Oh, what a wonderful surprise! It was with great and warm fondness that the doe recalled her dear friend Summer Wallows, who also happened to be of the Acha variety. Perhaps this one would be just as lovely, she thought, approaching the creature optimistically. “Good morning!”
