It started out with smoke and then there was fire and she liked to think there was a great deal of magic thrown in, but it boiled down to the breeding frenzy her hormones brought on. She was a simple enough doe who reveled in the delights life gave her. And oh so vain. She preened and wondered if the extra weight she put on would flatter her figure. She wasn't quite as fast as she used to be. Sinking further down into the water, she cooled down in the sun's rays. The dry sands she came from didn't have much in ways of water so while Achas may be distrustful of large bodies, most frolicked to the waterhole to cool down. Her jutted out stomach and bones heaved in relief.

The songbird fluttered through on the search for those who could take part in the journey. The crowned doe could not, she knew, but she couldn't just leave her. No, she had to help. With a sweet trill, she floated down and landed within the foliage on the doe's head.
In health your children will find limitless playfulness and will befriend all those that surround them. They shall know joy and kindness and wish only to bestow the same on all those they meet.
With a chirp, she alighted and set off. She had an important message to spread.
