Sato tuned in some to listen to the teacher's response to the first question from the mouse boy. He put away the comb when he was done with it then looks to the teacher when he speaks to them as a class. All he needed to hear was saddle lesson to be on board about it and follows after the teacher to the shed.

"Maybe there is some truth Kiyoshi said about our past" Kana thought. He found himself to be less fearful and less nervous as he continued brushing Dana. Felt his heart skip a beat at the mention of saddle lesson from the teacher and his skin turned pale mostly around the face. Also weak knees a bit after returning the comb he was using he decided to sit out on the saddle lesson.

John Doe & Mui Combo Posts
John Doe listened the teacher as he explained things to Mui. About how he felt towards the equestrian's that were being groomed currently. As well as why a Shetland pony worked best. He found himself wondering if there was other things he loved besides Jason deeply. Or in a very familial way, the bunny boy and mutual friend of theirs, Sato like the brother from another mother that he never had. Or felt sure he never had. Speaking of Sato...how was the guy doing? Sounded like really well since he was helping the teacher with the new guy. Yep. The other guy seemed to be calming down too but in his own little world. His eyes met the professor and he gave an awkward smile with a quick thumbs up to say all good here.
Mui looked at the others in the room then to the horses. More particularly Dana. Relieved to see the horse relaxed and that put him at ease too. Not that he wasn't really at ease. His eyes darting to the one that had led to the interesting conversation to see if he added any other insight but he stayed silent. His gaze moving back to Jican and his ears twitched. He let out a thoughtful squeak. That made a lot of sense really. It actually was more than on key with what all of them said. Except the one he wasn't sure if it was just really old, really lazy or really stupid who only said Jican gives the good eats. He assumed that meant Jican provided not just love and care but the best food and treats or snacks. Not just cheap stuff like some horse people seemed to.
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts and smiled more. He was good at spying and listening to classes. He liked listening to various teachers. Through windows or cracked doors. Spying or just listening to teacher's talking. Students talking. He found it and self study more useful. Most of what he knew he picked up plus it required little to no writing. He honestly was excited and happy that he could still learn to do everything that everyone else did. That the teacher thought his idea and thoughts made since and would work. He grinned as he hadn't expected it to be right. Nodding his head to show he was listening and he understood. Bouncing once before he thumbs upped Jican. "Yes. They are. Some of them more than others."squeak He agreed. Listening to the lessons continuing and followed the teacher.

As Jican walked into the shed he looked around. It was good to see the staff at the stables here had placed the known saddles at the beginning. The kitsune would make sure to let them know to do the same for Butterscotch. When he turned around however, he noticed that Kana hadn't followed them. "Excuse me for a moment. You can all pick up your saddles and all. Their names are above the gear for most. I will make sure they add Butterscothch's set as well at the entrance." he spoke, looking at Sato as he said the latter before he left the shed and walked back outside. As much as he felt for his friend and his fear. He couldn't exactly always give him a preference treatment. "Hey Kana, you have to pick up Dana's gear as well. No exceptions. But don't worry, she is a sweetheart, you'll do fine." he spoke and smiled calmly to his friend after he encouraged him. Jican was confident about it.
Sato nodded, "Okay" he said in response to what the teacher told him about Butterscotch's gear. He was glad he could continue learning with the same horse as before other teacher left the school. "Hopefully John will have a hands-on experience for on another day when he is much better" he thought to himself.

Kana couldn't bring himself to look the teacher in the face because he was embarrassed and swallowed when stomach reached up to his throat. He was doubtful, but he understands he should push through. He nods then wipes off some sweat off from his face with the back of his hands before joining the others to get a saddle.

"I'm proud of your progress though." he entrusted to his friend as they walked back to the shed, though he made sure to say it subtly so no one else would hear but Kana. With that he went back to the group and nodded, seeing they all had the right gear. "Alright then, time to learn how to saddle your horse. Sadly, we won't have enough time to go for a ride as time for class is almost ended, but the next class, if today goes well, we'll make it a riding class and have fun in the forest." the kitsune spoke before leading the way back out and then started to explain how to saddle the horse to the students.
Sato bought back Butterscotch's saddle, "One step at a time. I think we've learned enough for one class" he thought then listens to the teacher talk about saddles. He was looking forward to riding on Butterscotch next day of class and he happens to not have a fear of the forest. He glanced in the direction of John, "Hopefully what I have planned for him later will help end the day better for him and Jason" he thought then began putting on the saddle on his horse.

"At least someone is proud of me" thought Kana feeling a little better about his situation. He grabs Dana's saddle then headed back to the horse. Pleased to hear they won't be riding then petrified by the thought of the next class it will be happening at. "I wonder if I will have time to make several good luck charms today in the art room" he pondered as he listened to the teacher's explanation about the saddles. He was really careful in placing the saddle on Dana and pausing for each move he made.

Jican watched how everyone went about saddling their horse. He gave explanations and tips where due. It wasn't to long before all horses were sufficiently saddled and a smile fell over the kitsune's lips as he nodded. "Well done everyone. Always remember to check the strap too. You don't want the saddle to be to loose and slide off the back." he explained a bit about it before he added: "That is bad for the horse and you both. Make sure it is well and tight, most horses will even puff themselves up just to make it difficult." Jican chuckled a bit and with one last check he waved over a few stable boys. "Make sure these horses are taken to their stables and well taken care off." he spoke gently to them, before turning to the class again. "And with that, class is dismissed." he announced.

John Doe & Mui Combo Posts
John Doe was simply listening and watching the students as they moved around. For some reason, whenever he applied the words student to himself it felt wrong. With no knowledge to be able to back this he was unsure of why it felt wrong. Just that it did. He could tell that Sabo was enjoying himself. That other student, Kana he thinks he heard said, and that new guy Mui all seemed really interested. They were all really into horses or at least knew what they were doing. Himself...he just loved how soft it the horses muzzle and flank felt. How calming the large beast had felt upon him. Other than that...he really couldn't see him enjoying more than the caring for these creatures. The items they had to put on them to ride them made it seem like a chore. He wondered how the horses felt. Did they like wearing that stuff? Or did they just deal with it? With these weird thoughts in his head he merely watched as class continued. Watching up until the point that Jican finished instructions and stated that class was dismissed.
Mui made sure to continue to pay attention. Now and then smiling at that boy Kana or Sabo whenever their gazes happened to meet. He didn't want to seem rude. Even if he was honestly far more interested in the lessons on saddles and horses than the fellow students. He pointedly ignored John. The guy was just observing and even though he had to wait to find a pony with the professor...that didn't mean he shouldn't pay attention to the lesson. As well as to what the fellow students were doing. To learn both through listening beneath the cap covering his ears and through observations. He memorized how the other students attached the saddles, watching Sabo and Kana alternatively, before turning his attention back to the professor. Memorizing when the instructor gave a reminder and would be sure to practice that on his own. Without a horse present. Just practice with his legs until he got it down right. The proper procedure and all. The class seemed to have flown by which indicated he was enjoying himself. Standing up as tall as possible and grinned. "Thanks for the lesson Jican." He said and was pleased he was able to do it without squeaking.

Sato put in two times the more effort in the saddling lessons to make up for his size and strength. Lightly patted Butterscotch's muzzle and softly petted after class was dismissed. "I look forward to seeing you again, Butterscotch" he said then walked off to get his bag then head over to John. "Ready to be escorted to the gym?" he asked with a soft smile on his face.

Kana doubled checked the saddle on his horse to make sure it was on good enough in tightness. Struggled to keep in control of his breathing while the saddle lesson continued. Felt light-headed by the time class was dismissed, "See you soon, Dana" he said to the horse before heading to picking up his bag where he left it at. "I will be back at the manor after gym class, Mr. Wildshadpw" he said to the teacher then walked off to the gym.[exit]

"Just make sure you are inside before sundown. Other than that you are free to come home anytime!" he replied to his friend and smiled to him as they walked away for the next class. "I look forward to teaching you all again and perhaps we can include you as well Mister Doe." he extended the invitation to the other male and nodded before he walked off himself to go home after being certain all horses were well cared for. Sato felt pretty laid back after that hot bath he had with his new family and friend last night. He wondered if the mouse looking student with be showing up with a new horse to look after today. John won't be with him today because he asked him yesterday if he was coming and the older male choose to be with Jason instead of him. He felt like he should have expected as a possibility that he won't be accompanying him to class when he starts to feel better. "I did fear with John recovering that I may be forgotten eventually when less and less attention is away from me and that how I felt yesterday at dinner before I met my new friend. With my attention on Ritsuka, I'm doing much better" he thought as he arrived at the stables then drop off his bag at the usual spot.

Today had been a little slow for the kitsune, he started of his day late already, after having a bad night, but he still didn't want to leave without breakfast so he moved to the stables a little later than usual. That said, he was on time at least, only this time there were students already. Jican smiled to Kana in an encouraging way. He knew well that the boy was well aware of the fact that today would be their first full riding day, yet he had shown up. So brave of him. Jican thought to himself before he took his place in front of class. Usually he would wait for others to join them, but this time he was late himself so he would just start right away. Some horses were already standing ready due to him sending word before hand, saddled and all.
"Welcome my faithful students. It's good to see most of the class back already!" he started and stopped near the horses. "As promised today will be all about riding on the horse." he confirmed and as he said that some sound came from the entrance to the stables and Jican looked up curiously, his ear flicking a bit but soon his smile returned. "Ah it looks like our new family has arrived." he said mysteriously as he walked to the trailer that was now pulling into the stables. Since he liked to raise horses from foal on, he had ordered a few small ponies instead of one. But right now, already grown ones would have to do.
"Sato, could you join me for a moment?" he called still working on the trailer and then he came out with another man, both leading a small pony. One in Black Pinto colors and another that was full caramel brown with blonde manes and tail. "Of course you are welcome to join us as well Kana." he added, encouraging the other to come near as well. Perhaps these smaller ponies would be more to his taste as well. Not that he would let Kana switch horses. It was best for him if he got used to the one he used already. From behind the teacher and his companion, the last two ponies were also brought in.
One completely white and the Chestnut fur with black manes and tail. "Here you go Sato, some ponies you and Mui can choose from that will be more to your size as well. I know it was mostly meant for Mui but I think more variation wouldn't be bad. They will all four be staying with us from now on, so feel free to pick the one you like best, unless of course you prefer the horse you already chose." he offered to the rabbit featured boy as well. He was relatively short too after all and if he offered one student a smaller sized horse, it would only be fair to also offer Sato. Jican made sure to have ordered two stallions and two mares. After all if he was to also have smaller ponies as this for smaller students, which made sense really, then he wanted them to be like the other horses. Home bred and raised.
Sato wasn't entirely sure if Ritsuka will be accompanying him and observe the class like John did yesterday. Overall he was looking forward to horse riding and he doesn't have any fears relating to it or horses. "Mouse boy is still missing after all. I think last time he showed up pretty late" he thought after the teacher had welcomed them. His ears picked up the sounds by the entrance too then hesitantly followed after when he was called by Mr. Wildshadow. Looks to the teacher after listening to explanation of the offer. He understood it was about his height, but he didn't want to give up Butterscotch and he has his jumping ability that will help with getting up on the saddle. He shook his head a little, "No thanks, sir. I want to stick with the horse I have" he said turning down the offer.
