The ratsusagi grinned as she pulled to her side of the field, cleaning her paw while she waited for her opponent to take theirs. Sparring was fun, and this event promised to be no less enjoyable than the fun times she could barely believe she recalled at it. She hardly dispensed a greeting to her arriving opponent, as she crouched to ready for battle.

Calaveras flew in and hovered a bit before landing. She eyes her opponent.
This would be an interesting battle.

The rat grinned, having dispensed with the pleasantries. She hardly waited for the bell, barely heard it, in fact, before she was off, zipping across the field to leap up at her previously-flight-bound opponent.

She felt her claws land and gave a smirk, as she prepared to pounce of for another attack.

Finally feeling her opponent make his mark, the rat winced, then forced a grin at him. She leapt into a run, pumping her legs into a run before she pounced at him, claws drawn out and ready for a wicked scratch. She felt her claws make her mark on his own and grinned, skidding to a stop and turning to look at her handywork. The damage was pitiful, at its best description! What was she doing!?
