*~: razz ort Island, The Man-Made Island Metropolis::~*
A man-made island said to have been built by the Kirijo Group decades ago, it has grown together with the Greater Iwatodai Area to become a surprising metropolis in the southern realms of the island of Honshu, Japan. Home to terrifying experiments more than 10 years ago, the mostly-forgotten Nyx Incident two years ago, and the Headquarters of the Shadow Operatives today, it is a part of the Supernatural Hotbed but also a bustling city full of people, businesses, and strange goings on of all varieties.
This is the greater Port Island area, the downtown full of businesses, karaoke parlors, magazine headquarters, etc.
Though it may not have the specialized shops that you can find in the Paulownia Mall and the Port Island and Iwatodai Satations, you can find almost anything in this city if you look hard enough...and some things you might wish you hadn't.

Matsuri Lampard and Elena Wakahisa It was cold. A thin blanket of white covered the city, and Matsuri could only tug at her coat, nuzzling closer against her body. Cold didn't suit her well...but idly, she imagined Set was in his element right now. She couldn't believe it was already three months since they had gotten back from that world; everything was so different here. So alive. It had taken them quite a bit to adjust, the dark haired girl had to admit. At least, she had. Society was completely new to her. Not having to run and fight and prepare for the worst was strange. It was nice, really, but strange. Here, she didn't have to worry about the Lin Kuei...not here. No one knew who they were here. They were safe. The people were kind, the sights were colorful and warm, the food was splendid -especially the strawberry parfait they sold in the café-. They were safe...and it was then that she started working on her little project.
The money from the stash she had taken from the place Vale and Noa had told her about all those years ago wouldn't last them forever though... and she had gotten a job. It had taken her weeks, almost a month, to pinpoint the location. And almost the same amount of time to finally get some kind of resumé to get her hired. Fashion wasn't her forte...after all, there had not been real sense of fashion back in her world, but, Matsuri was nothing but a quick learner. So now...she was the 'new intern' in Pebble Magazine. And her boss...well...
"It's getting colder, isn't it?"
The woman walking beside her had a strict air about her; like she has always on a rush, always busy, always working. Still, there was a smile on her face telling Mati that she was actually happy with her life. Her fair factions were just like Set's...and the beauty mark at the corner of her lip...just the same. Her eyes were different though. The girl from the future nodded, turning her gaze to the little stores around. "And busier." Mati added, and Elena chuckled lightly.
"It's close to Christmas, so it's to be expected. People are out buying presents for family and loved ones. I...actually need to get something for Jurou."
She talked lightly, and the dark haired girl noticed how the ashy blonde's expression softened at the mention of the man. The air about her reminded her of Set. The way her eyes seemed to brighten up when talking about something pleasant...the way she smiled, politely. Mati had never met Set's father back in their world, but, his mother...
Elena Wakahisa she had known. She had been fierce and protective of her son...and always staying strong, even if the grief was a permanent glint in her ashen eyes. And it was so strange seeing her now, so carefree...so light. She was glad for her, knowing the woman would never have to live the life that waited for them in that Corrupted Future.
"And you? Do you have anyone you are getting Christmas presents for?"
"Hm? Oh! There's...there's someone. Yes." Elena arched her eyebrows in amusement at her slight slip, and Mati shifted, clearing her throat. "He is very important to me. An childhood friend..." This was sooner than what she had planned, but... the opportunity had presented itself. "Say... would you want to come to my place for coffee? We can discuss the new articles for the Christmas issue. I have a few ideas you might like..."
She looked at the ash blonde closely, how she considered it for a moment...almost as if going over her mental agenda, making sure there was some space she could make...and if it was worth the time. Finally, Elena smiled, and Matsuri knew she got it.
"Sure. Jurou will be late tonight, so I have a little time."
Mati smiled.
Now, to make sure Set would be around.
