The Nation of Lyonvale - Lyonvale is the closest coastal nation to Maldria, built on an ancient dragon clan's former land. It was due to this that many in the Wildlands particularly had issues with the nation throughout its years of existing. Within the past century, tension turned into a full-out war (Known as "The War of Mathilde's Vengeance), in which Lyonvale won and created a treaty to pay tax to the tribes of the Wildlands as compensation for the centuries of turmoil. Many of the citizens hold racial prejudice towards those who don't appear human, even if recent rulers have attempted to ease racial tension through marriage. The kingdom is a hierarchy built by the Lyonhart family--the original founders. The ruler is not called king or queen by the citizens, but The Heart of Lyonvale. The current ruler is Valensa Lyonhart, the first female ruler. They are an important harbor town for Maldria's imported goods and fishing economy. In spite of their history and political climate, Lyonvale keeps peace with its neighbors for economic purposes.

The current population size is no more than 150,000, most of the population living inside the walls, but some live in the neighboring farmlands who are declared as part of the Lyonvale nation. The actual scale of the land itself reigns over 120 KM (approximately 75 square miles). Most people speak the common language of the continent, though most citizens speak more than one language as a means of business etiquette. The vast majority of citizens are human, with the average life span being 88 years of age. Most residents are patriotic and are well-versed on the history of their own land. All soldiers are taught basic arcana magic so as to specialize in what is known as Magical Combat. Ranking is often decided in a democratic fashion by the citizens, though honorary general positions can be decided by the ruler of the land. While the technology is generally more advanced than that of Maldria, and aqueducts run throughout the entire city, magic users are not the majority. Most magic users are quickly placed in high ranking positions, usually as doctors, generals, or archivists. Lyonvale residents, simply known as Lyons, generally follows the religious path Gramaryean. Temples dedicated to each god can be found everywhere, with a large temple dedicated to the paternal god Paradox found in the heart of the nation's walls.
