She was bored. There had to be something fun to do today. She didn't feel like studying. She didn't feel like going shopping... no she needed something with a fun element. Elements were neat. Lightning was the best element - was it it's own element? Someone had once tried to tell her that it wasn't an element, that it was part of fire. Fire was pretty neat, too. Oh! She could see if Andrew was doing anything fun. He seemed to like fun.

That was the thought process that led to Andrew getting a text message:

At first Andrew simply didn't recognize the number. He didn't remember who Li Xia was. And he certainly didn't connect the text and name with that ghoul he had played cards with in the tournament earlier. He just wasn't used to people actually liking him for any length of time. (His parents being the only exception)

So it was a little while before he actually looked down and read the text.

But he was bored that day and eventually perused thought the phone.... like an hour later. s**t. Who was that again? First year? That's all he could really remember. cards.... something.
