[ORP] We Don't Know How It Got There!

The Togepi's trill again drew Cassie on, expecting another cute decoration or something that was upsetting the tiny Pokemon. But instead, it was wobbling back to her with a colored egg held high, chirping and twittering away in its joy. "You found one! Awesome job," she cooed, crouching down to pat its head gently, and then smiling as the Togepi pushed the egg to her. "Thanks."

She pocketed that one as well, and no sooner had she, did the Togepi run off to continue its own search. Enthusiastic little guy, huh?

[Xeak, Area 3, w/ Skiddo]

She expected the Skiddo to skitter off, or wander off, or whatever, but find no more use for hanging around her. Instead, she was intrigued to find it was continuing to walk with her, pausing with her each time she searched an area for more eggs. A decoration was all she found this time, and the Skiddo seemed to give a few light snorts--laughter?--at her expense.

She felt no ill-will towards it for its amusement though, only continuing to play with its ears and nudging it with her leg as she continued to walk on. At least she had company for now, and of the non-intrusive kind. That wasn't... so bad.

[KO, area 2, not taking Budew]

KO ignored the Budew that was waddling nearby in favour of the handsome Lopunny that had just bounded over; tasteful colours, if it had come out of their labs the team had been on good form that day. "Oh hello... No, I don't want that," he said with a shake of his head as the normal type held the decoration out to him. "Keep it, if you like it." It might have been created tastefully coloured but not blessed with good taste itself apparently.

Welp, to no surprise anymore, Faleen uncovered a decoration instead of an egg.
The Togepi still sitting on Faleen's bent arm gave a tired sigh


"Its fine" Faleen brushed off the comment "I mean, it's Froakie that we're up against, I kinda should have expected we would lose"

Faleen noticed that she wasn't the one one getting decorations, as she spotted another women (Xeak) uncover a decoration as well.
"Any luck so far?" Faleen called "they should have called this a decoration hunt huh? I'm baaaad with eggs."

"Nope, you're ready to egg hunt." Beverly flashed a quick smile to Oliver, while Geraldine fussed over taking Mokaya to the back.

As if to prove her point. Froakie hopped out of the Bush between Faleen and Xeak, paused to pick up an egg, put it in his frubbles that was now looking pretty colorful, then continued to hop away.

Faleen stared for moment, clicked her tongue, and grinned.
"See?"

Aha, the first one didn't want it! But would the other human...? No, he didn't want it either! The Lopunny managed to withhold his excitement somehow, but offered both a polite nod. "Lop!"

"Ah, I see you've met some new friends!" Jamie said as he slowed to a stop from his jog, let out a brief huff of a breath from the exertion, then offered the pair a friendly, somewhat sheepish smile. "I hope he hasn't bothered you guys? Oh! This is Peter -," the Lopunny offered an eager wave while holding both toys in one paw, "and my name's Jamie."

"You are welcome," Lex said gently, giving the Lopunny a smile. It was a pretty pokemon. They paused, looking down and smiled at Jupe as she pressed an egg against his hand. "Thank you."

She grumbled and paused, taking in the other Lopunny.


"I'm Lex, and the Umbreon is Jupiter. Jupe for short." They replied, taking in the young man? Mmh, well so this was the Lopunny owner. "He hasn't been any trouble."

KO gave the Pidgey ornament he'd just spotted a cool ignoring, at least as far as you could ignore something with that expression on its face. Creepy.

Luckily the owner of the Lopunny appeared on the scene; KO gave him a brief, thoughtful once-over. The man was a little shorter than he was himself, pretty cute but too young looking for him. Lovely eyes though, you could stare at those all night.

"No bother," KO replied languidly with a slight shake of his head. "I'm Kirk, that's Duke and that's Imperator.... And I have to ask. Peter? As in Cottontail?" That had to be intentional.

Oh, that was a lot of names all at once! A lot of names at once and one he didn't quite understand and therefore had no hope of repeating. "It's nice to meet all of you!" He replied earnestly, happily glancing to each in turn - Kirk had lovely eyes, not an eye color he saw too often, though Lex's curly hair was too cute - then nodded, hints of relief in his demeanor and tone of voice. Not that he expected Peter to purposefully bother anyone, but there were some people who didn't much care for an unfamiliar pokemon to come bounding up into their business. "And good, I'm glad. Ahh, well -- yyye-es?" That wasn't... exactly a question he'd expected, since people didn't normally catch onto that, but oh well.

Jamie offered a sheepish smile in response as he pushed a hand over his hair, though the gesture only succeeded in prompting a few stray, wavy wisps to fall down against his cheek. Peter suddenly looked less amused as he bent down to address Jupiter, holding the pair of toys - a pink Deerling and the Pichu KO had kicked - out for her to see, he gestured to the pair of humans,

"Mister Peter Cottontail, to be precise," Jamie went on after a brief pause to make sure Peter wouldn't mind too much if he elaborated. "My older sister named him that back when she first got him a few years ago, but he doesn't, uh.. he doesn't much care for it, so it's just Peter."

As she watched Froakie hop away, her eyes fell on a Buneary hiding behind one of the trees close by.
Placing the arms she was not using to hold up the Togepi in her hip.
"That a friend of yours?" She asked, nodding toward the Buneary.

Togepi confirmed.

"Oh good, Do you think they'll wanna help us out?"

The Togepi placed her hand on her chin to think about that posability
Faleen nodded "Aaahhh... okay.... in that case, we'll not bother them."
Still, she gave the Buneary a cheeky grin and waved at it, causing it to squeak and vanish behind the tree again.
Faleen snickered.

[Daycare]

Okay now it was boring.
Zoroark, without her trainer to keep an eye on anymore had settled back down onto the soft grass of the daycare area. At the very least Scraggy seemed to have stopped worrying and had found something to occupy himself with.
She idly watched him find and consume all the berries he could get his little hands on. while stuffing most of them into his pants before hand.... who knows how many he had in there at this point.

She gave a yawn, pulling her yellow eyes away from the Scraggy to scan around the other pokemon that had been placed into daycare.
It seemed pretty busy, there must have been a lot of trainers that wanted to go egg hunting.

Scanning her gaze back down to where Scraggy was, only to find that the younger pokemon was no longer there.
She sighed, looking around only to not spot him anywhere around where he had been.
with another sigh, the shiny Zoroark pushed herself up onto her back claws, and set off to find her young teammate.

Froakie prided himself on his strength, he had a lot to prove! And he learned from Banette, because he was a non dark type on a primary favored dark team, he had to work twice as hard just to keep up and keep favor.
Though one day, if he worked hard, if he made it that far, he could become dark, he would be complete.

Thus he didn't even think about complaining about the weight he was carrying on his back, pausing only briefly to take a break and stare at an Elekid decorations blocking his path, before carrying on to find more eggs.
