Elohari nodded gently as the door was held open, allowing her to step through the threshold thus starting the tour she was waiting for. They would head toward the classrooms and along the way passed the auditorium. It was a marvelous thing to see. "Auditorium? You've built a place to host events..." her voice lingered on curiosity. Her head peered into the bubble, eyes moving quickly, attempting to memorize the red and gold building. A soft smile puckered her lips "It's a curious thing." was her last comment on the subject. She didn't have what they called an auditorium where she came from. They used halls or ballrooms for such things, or a favorite was simply outside.
The two would pass the courtyard as well. It was pristine and utterly gorgeous. Gannon seemed to pass it with only a glance, but Elohari would do a complete 360 to look back at the wonderful yard. "Oh this is splendid. The greens, the colors." Elohari's voice sang with happiness. Her eyes practically lit up as they soaked in the wonderful yard. She imagined herself here quite a lot now, even on her days off. "It reminds me of home." voice lingering on home, her head tilted slightly as she sighed a little. "I miss it." Her voice a little quiter, her eyes lingered at the courtyard before the two parted ways from it.
Into the classroom, they went. It was quite a large area, Elohari took a step in, her shoes audibly clicking lightly in the quiet space. "Quite a big space, does the room fill for class?" Her head turned toward the place man "How are the kids?" Her curiosity peaked. All the while her eyes moved through the classroom, much like a child would.

Gannon had to appreciate Eloharis’ open curiosity and appreciation for the Academy. She gazed upon things as if they were the most fascinating thein the world. He’d felt the same, once upon a time when he’d first arrived here. But after spending years wandering the halls, he’d grown used to the wonders and thus in his mind, they’d lost some of their magic. To see how her eyes lit up at the sight filled him with a sense of longing for times past, when he could stop and appreciate the Academy and its greatness too.
The classroom, empty of course, echoed lightly as they entered. He let Elohari explore and was happy to answer her questions. “The class is comprised of ten students in all. The room can hold three that many, at least.” One arm behind his back, the top of his hand resting at the small of his back, he watched as Elohari gazed about her, much like a curious child.
“The students are very curious and studious. Some are more shy than others, but they’re learning their way.” He said with a small smile. <<’She has an innocence about her. I like it…it’s refreshing to see in a Professor.’>> Brageet said into his mind, making her opinion known. <<’I agree. She sees the wonder in the world where others fail to.’>> Gannon could already tell that the students would be drawn to her.
“The class will last as long as you deem needed. Some days the lesson could last only an hour, others the whole day. It is all at your own discretion.” He personally liked to keep the lessons a bit shorter to allow for the students to learn their powers in their own time, but how Elohari conducted her class was up to her – assuming she got the job.
“Was there anywhere else you’d like me to show you? The Library perhaps?” He had to wonder if she would like to wander on her own. He was happy to guide her, but he wasn’t about to assume anything when it came to Elohari.

"Ten that I am entrusted with yes?" Elohari never broke eye contact with the building, she seemed extremely fascinated in the windows. She walked ever slowing down the long steps, eyes glazed over with pure wonder. "Ten little souls ready to learn and grow..." she rhythmically spoke, hands lifted up to graze against the wooden desks and chairs, eyes still on the windows. Her head would snap back when he spoke of the children a tad bit "You seem connected with them, despite not truly here for them, with your other duties." her voice smooth "They all must be lovely." a soft smile spread to her sweet cheeks.
"Are we allowed to wander elsewhere for teachings?" her eyes now back in the room, halting by the podium. She glanced back upwards to Gannon who stood with proper shoulders squared, chest up. "I'm curious what type of teacher I may be." hummed Elohari, hands resting on her abdomen for a moment before falling naturally to her sides. "Where I grew up from, we were taught much differently. There were no classrooms." Her hand rested upon the podium. "We would wonder about our lands with the elders chirping knowledge into our ears. Some important, others simply crazy talk of an elder." her eyes moved to the podium where her black fingernails clicked against the wood "We were taught things of respect, honor, " eyes moving once more up to Gannon "love."
"Here you teach science, math, literature." she smiled softly "I'm not sure if I can be such a teacher... I'm not...sure." She sounded unconfident, much unlike herself. "I would be molding young minds, they would continue with the knowledge I embedded within them. Everything I say would hold a weight... Im curious if they think me insane." Elohari would chuckle lightly "I know many think me odd, the way I dress, talk, manners.." Her eyes glistened "But where I would come from with teaching is love, the love of my class and the love of my power." Her head lowered ever so slightly to look at the ground for a moment before meeting Gannons eyes again "Would that be enough?"

The more time Gannon spent with Elohari the more intrigued he became. She seemed otherworldly. The way she gazed upon everything with wonder, the way she spoke and moved through the room…it reminded him of the tales of the fae. When she spoke of the students, he could tell that she was genuinely intrigued by them and had a true desire to want to nurture them and help them grow into the people they were born to be. He could easily see her connecting with the students and nurturing them, like young seedlings waiting to grow into tall, strong, and proud trees.
Nodding lightly at her question, he smiled. “Yes, you may take your students anywhere you like, granted that it is a safe environment.” He didn’t think that she’d willfully place her students in danger, but it didn’t hurt to stress the point. As Elohari spoke of her own experiences growing up, he pulled his arms forward to cross them over his chest, his head tilted slightly to the side, a small smile on his face. But as she looked toward him and said the word ‘love’, his eyes widened a bit and he felt his cheeks heat in a slight blush.
<<’Ooooo~ I think she might be flirting with you….’>> Brageet teased, lightly nibbling at his hair. Gannon didn’t know how to react to Elohari or Brageets words. He remained silent as she continued to speak, seeming to doubt herself and what she was capable of. But as she raised her gaze to his again, he found that for a moment, he was speechless.
As the silence began to stretch between them, one moment leading into another, he swallowed hard. <<’Gannon? She asked you a question, love.’>> Brageet said into his mind, voicing a small chirp to urge him on. Shaking his head a little bit, he nodded slightly.
“Love is always enough, Elohari.” He said with a kind, reassuring smile. “I welcome your teaching style, especially if it will benefit the students.” Gannon didn’t need to see her teach to know that the students would love her outright and welcome her style. Yes, they might think she was a little different or unique, but what was wrong with that? “Don’t worry, Elohari…they’re going to love you.” He didn’t know if his words would reassure her, but come tomorrow morning, he was sure she’d see for herself just how well she would do.

"You seem impressed." Elohari spoke, looking between him and his Brageet. Her hands would clasp before her hips, the sleeves that dragged just past her fingertips slid over and up to her elbows with the rise of her hands. "You smile at me, soft and sweet." her own head would tilt out of curiosity, eyeing the man that was once relaxed, seemed a bit timid now. "I don't read minds, not my specialty." Elohari's cheeks raised "Are you entertained by me? Somehow proud?" She questioned, brows furrowing slightly. In no way did she mean harm by her words, his smile was charming but it was a smile that had emotions behind it. Sadly Elohari was a bold woman, anything she was confused on she would gladly ask about.
"I am delighted that you've welcomed me, being who I am, I feared rejection." Her voice soft "I know many will judge... I do not necessarily fear that judgment... but I do." she released a small sign "I am still unsure the path I've been sent down on. I was guided here, so my journey at this academy is just. However unsure I am... Suppose I must gain my strength and continue on," her position changed slightly "as I always do." Elohari let out a light laugh
"Apologize, I love to ramble aloud." Her head swiveled back to Gannon "Instead of keeping inside, I let it spill out of my mouth. Many think I'm insane. Don't mind that though. I've met much insane. They hold a lot of wisdom." Elohari would speak, well rambling again.
The two would stand in silence for a moment, Elohari taking in the view once more "And you? Do you enjoy yourself here?" She would embark up the steps and walk her way toward Gannon "You keep to yourself. Mind prying yourself open a bit for me to peak at?" she stood in front of him, a step lower, eyes gazing upwards at the now much taller male.

Brow furrowed a bit, he frowned somewhat. Elohari was…confusing. ‘This is why I avoid social interactions….people are too complicated for me…’ Was he proud? Not really. Did some people assume that he was, given how he kept himself separate from the crowd? Yes. But just because he kept himself separate, didn’t mean he was a proud man.
<<’She seems curious about you, Gannon…’>> It was an obvious statement, but he was glad that Brageet agreed with him. As she sat on his shoulder, Brageet swung her gaze to Elohari and kept it locked on her, as if studying her.
“I do enjoy it here….this is my home.” He stated simply, looking out the window. He had to wonder if there was something more or better for him out in the world. It was possible, but for now, he was content where he was. At her other question, he sighed, a small frown on his lips. Looking down into her eyes, much like how Brageet did, he decided to be honest. “I….don’t usually interact with…people. I prefer the company of animals over humans.” To her, not knowing his raiment, it might have been an odd answer, but it didn’t matter to him.
“As such, I’m not used to ‘prying myself open’ for others. I honestly wouldn’t know how to do it.” In all honesty, it sounded painful and he supposed, in a way, that it was. To open oneself was to expose your vulnerabilities and he didnt like the idea of that, even for a colleague. He might do it for a lover, but for a practical stranger, no.

Gannon knew, without a doubt, that Elohari would enjoy it very much. Most people questioned his friendship with Brageet and the other animals that he called ‘friend’, but Elohari saw nothing unnatural about it all. He wondered what it would have been like to grow up wherever she was from, to be accepted outright for his power and preferences. He wondered what kind of a man he would have turned out to be, given the opportunity to grow and flourish in such an environment. It was a curious thought and one that he knew he would ponder upon for days to come.
Nodding slightly, he smiled. “Well…it is nice to know that if I open myself up to you, you won’t be quick to judge me harshly.” Gannon knew full well that he was socially awkward and likely giving off a bad impression. Elohari had already referred to him as ‘proud’ and questioned if he was trying to dress to impress someone, given the way he was dressed – both impressions painted him in a negative light in his opinion – but he hoped that over time, he and Elohari could become friends and learn more about one another.
“Once you’re settled, if you’d like to explore the forest, I’d be happy to escort you. It can be a bit dangerous to go alone, but I know it well and would be glad to acquaint you with it.” It was an open offer but one that he hoped she’d accept, if she felt so inclined. In the meantime, Elohari needed to prepare for her lesson and Gannon had work to finish.
Looking toward the window, he smiled a bit. “I suspected it would rain today, looks like I was right.” The steady pitter patter of the drops could be heard as they began to hit the glass, obscuring Elohari;s view of the outside. He had to wonder if she would want to walk through the rain, or like most, would do her best to avoid it on her way back to where she was residing in the city.

Today, Kayne is just in a good mood to be generous, hence his decision to deliver his freshly baked lemon cookies that he had concocted back in the tavern to the academy. He was humming a small tune as he went through the available spaces of the academy; most of the doors, except for the musician’s office which he went in earlier, were locked so it was actually a bit troublesome, but still he carried on the task with a smile, mainly because his goal was to make the world a better place with his craft. The court mage simply asked him for a favor to help him out, which Kayne accepted with a smile and advice that things do take time. The next step would have to wait since today’s the day of knit classes and the schedules were busy as hell. Not to mention that he had to help with the elective the next day.
Thankfully, his current plan might be a way to spark an inspiration, to keep the students motivated for the next day. Hence, there he was, at the entrance of the Diviner classroom and greeted the person near him with a wave and smile. "Special delivery courtesy of Kayne Nightroad, the cheerful cooking professor!"

Well, well, well. It was finally the day. Yesterday was pack full of exploring and fullying grasping all of the Academy. She has been explained her duties and showed where she would work, and now here she woke for the very first day in class. Elohari was a decently early morning riser, the typical. She started out her days with a prayer then food. Bathing and dressing Elohari soon was out the door and on her way to class. Walking through the streets of Eoana, Elohari proudly glided, a soft glow to her. She was ecstatic, near ecstasy. Just what would the day bring her today? How would her children perceive her? After spending a few meditating and just enjoying nature yesterday her nervous mind was settled. Even if she failed as a professor, she would continue on her path whether it be schooling or adventuring much like she had before.
-Enter in Diviner Classroom-
Walking through the halls Elohari sure took her sweet time, but she was soon in the presence of Gannon. Her decor of choice today was a sweetheart neckline long green dress. Cuff at her shoulders would allow draped fabric to cover her arms. She wore a cape that was rather thin but clipped around her chest elegantly placed. No jewelry was worn today, hair as usual, with boots up to her thighs to keep her warm as the fabric moved with the wind. She smiled softly at Gannon who seemed to be really enjoying himself. ”Gannon,” she would look toward him then Brageet ”Brageet, how are you two?” She smiled sweetly at the two, eyes excited for the day's events. Her hands clasped together softly in front, fingers fidgeting slightly ”My nerves are settled, however, my heart pounds.” She spoke, looking toward the door. This was moments before a knock stirred the room. Well, what do we have here?

Gannon looked up from his ledger as the Cooking Professor approached from down the hall with a tray of freshly baked cookies. Arching a brow, he felt his stomach voice it’s desires - it was growling ‘food’ and he knew it. Closing his book, he arched at brow at the Professor. He and Kayne didn’t know one another very well, but he did know that Kayne’s cooking was unmatched.
Smirking at the Professor’s words, he took one of the offered cookies. “Thank you, Professor Nightroad.” He said taking a bite. Humming in approval, he broke off a small piece to give to Brageet, who happily sampled it with a chirp. “Delicious as always.” He complimented, taking another bite.
Before he could say more, Elohari appeared wearing a rather lovely dress. He gave her a nod and a warm smile of greeting as he chewed his cookie. “Good morning, Elohair.” Hearing her words, he shook his head slightly. “There is no need to be nervous. The students have yet to arrive and Professor Nightroad has brought us a treat, lemon cookies.” He said gesturing to the other Professor. “Professor Nightroad, this is Ms. Elohari, she is applying to be the new Diviner Professor.”

Kayne's laugh was a hearty one, positively contagious, at the compliment about the cookies. "Thank you. A huge compliment to the chef whose goal is to make the world better through cooking!" Actually, it was his mom instilling that motto to him ever since the day he started helping out in the inn and tavern. Plus, the work experience alongside the usual studies in the academy did mold him to become who he was today. His crimson eyes then studied the owl who was also enjoying the cookies for a second before focusing on the woman that his co-worker had introduced. Based on his experience with animals, some species would tend to be mischievous, having a knack for trouble, but thankfully, the owl was obedient with the master.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, miss. Young and beautiful, yet having potential. Looks like you students deserve to sample some of my cookies. I'll be off to the next classroom for the delivery. Oh, and before I forget..." His eyes were then locked onto Gannon, whispering softly. "Relationship problems are a common occurrence in my tavern and inn and it seems that even yours need to be sorted out. Meet up with him in The Jolly Tavern and Inn on the free day after the electives. All's on me." With that, he winked and let the recipient carry the bag of cookies and moved away slightly. "See you later, you two!" That was his last word before jogging away to his next destination after waving at the two. He was no guru, but he would try his best to keep the conflict level as low as possible, almost close to being a therapist.

She glanced at the two men, offering small smiles as her eyes seemed focused on the cookies everyone began to eat. Her head turned down as she smelled the aroma of it all. Her head would tilt in confusion, a familiar scent but not a familiar image. Gannon would speak of peace and calmness, to which Elohari simply nodded, studying to cookies for a moment before giving a soft not and an eye lock to Professor Nightroad. "Comical... your name fits your appearance." She spoke softly and slowly, a small smile on her face before she became curious once more
"What is...a..lemon cookie?" She held one up to her nose and smelled it once more. It smelled delightful and warm, her hand feeling the soft yet somehow crisp texture. She seemed to be having a small crisis on her own. Not quite understanding the whole concept of this new food, but wanted to. She remained perplexed until she decided to simply bite into the sweet dessert. And when she did, one of the best things she had eaten. Not many sweet things come from where she lives. Most sweet would probably be.... strawberries? Her face perked up, ecstatic. Wow, the taste was so strong and sweet. She could feel herself getting a cavity already. This new world had some amazing things!
Elohari would smile at the baker "I thank you for this delicious dessert... Never had one, it is marvelous." her voice smooth, slow, delicate. Taking another bite and entering sweet bliss as the two continued to talk, she listening in. And when the man would leave, Elohari would perk an ear up "You are courting someone?" perking up, perhaps a little twing of sharpness. She meant no harm, her face seemed confused. The middle of her brows furrowed, head tilting slightly, she held onto the sweet lemon cookie and lowered it slowly.
Elohari wasn't exactly sure how to take that news, she knew not of who he courted nor much about him. Of course, Elohari didn't need to know this information. She glanced down, her hazel eyes seeming to look at the ground and her black inked hands. "I need not know." her head would raise, her face relaxed, though still tense somehow "I should not pry as I know you are.... as they call... reserved." her cookie would move up closer to her mouth "should not pry.." another small bite.
