                    → Knit: Elementor
                        ↳ Raiment: Magnetism
Griselda can affect any matter that is magnetic (iron, nickel, cobalt and their alloys, some rare earth metals, naturally-occurring minerals such as lodestone) manipulating and controlling them as they will and indirectly use them to manipulate other things. Note that this power isn't metal manipulation, it is the ability to control magnetism, but she can control certain metals like the ones listed above (Iron, nickel, cobalt, gadolinium, etc). She is limited to controlling existing/local magnetic fields. Molten metal cannot be manipulated by a magnetic field, as metal loses its magnetic properties in a heated or molten state. Line of sight isn't required to control magnetic fields, but it does take concentration to maintain control.

                    → Stat Growth:

↳ Power: In terms of raw power, Griselda can only handle a certain amount of weight, so it is to her benefit that she chooses which type of metal to manipulate. For example, manipulating steel and iron is easier than copper since copper weighs more than either steel and iron.
                                1. 10 lbs (4.5 kg)
                                2. 20 lbs (9 kg)
                                3. 30 lbs (13.5 kg)
                                4. 40 lbs (18 kg)
                                5. 50 lbs (22.5 kg)
                                6. 60 lbs (27 kg)
                                7. 70 lbs (31.5 kg)
                                8. 80 lbs (36 kg)
                                9. 90 lbs (40.5 kg)

↳ Control: Griselda’s control of magnetism is primarily about how long she can manipulate the magnetic field. This also details how long she must wait until the next time she can use her raiment.
                                1. 5 minutes, 3.5-minute cooldown
                                2. 10 minutes, 5-minute cooldown
                                3. 15 minutes, 7.5-minute cooldown
                                4. 20 minutes, 10-minute cooldown
                                5. 25 minutes, 12.5-minute cooldown
                                6. 30 minutes, 15-minute cooldown
                                7. 35 minutes, 17.5-minute cooldown
                                8. 40 minutes, 15-minute cooldown
                                9. 45 minutes, 12.5-minute cooldown
↳ Speed: How quickly your raiment can move from point A to point B.
(Possible examples of this could be how fast an effect of your raiment could be move/shot/blasted from one point to another, or how fast you are capable of producing the effect of your raiment.)

↳ Range: The lack of needing eye contact with whatever object whose magnetic field Griselda desires to manipulate means she is able to sense the magnetic fields of individual objects and the general area. A simplification of how she affects the magnetism of objects or the general area around her is that she becomes a magnetic dipole. If she came the south part of the magnetic dipole, the north part of a magnetic dipole of another object/area becomes attracted to her (if the object/area’s south side of the dipole is being affected, then it would repel).

                                5. 40 – 50 ft (12 – 15m) in diameter, 20 – 25 ft in radius
                                6. 50 - 60 ft (15 – 18m) in diameter, 25 – 30 ft in radius
                                7. 60 – 70 ft (18 – 21m) in diameter, 30 – 35 ft in radius
                                8. 70 – 80 ft (21 – 24m) in diameter, 35 – 40 ft in radius
                                9. 80 – 90 ft (24 – 27 m) in diameter, 40 – 45 ft in radius

↳ Technique: Griselda can only manipulate the magnetic fields of a certain number of objects at a time.

            → Personality:
There's more than meets the eye in the case of Griselda Hawkins, but if nothing else you should know she's trusting and generous. Of course, she's also determined, aspiring and discreet, but in a way, they're lesser traits and tainted by behaviors of being difficult as well. Her trusting nature though, this is what she's pretty much known for. People often count on this and her flexibility whenever they need cheering up.

Nobody's perfect of course and Griselda has plenty of lesser desired aspects too. Her self-doubt and awkwardness aren't exactly fun to deal with and considered a turn off by most. Although her family’s code of honor is valiant and admirable, it is so ingrained into her life that the decisions that she makes may not be the right one. Fortunately, her generosity is usually there to soften the blows.

“We are to give service, help the innocent, save the lives of friend and foe. That is our way”. These words from the creed, the code of honor, that everyone within the Hawkins family lives by and it is this creed that has been passed down from parent to child. This did not change with Nicholas and Griselda Hawkins. The loving father spoke these words to Griselda every day ever since she was old and knowledgeable enough to comprehend them. To reinforce this creed, her father brought her into the family business: blacksmithing. Every day after school, she went to her father’s shop instead of going home and he instructed her on how to craft a variety of weapons. How does working at a blacksmith shop help her understand this creed? She was a part of many situations that constantly reminded her of the Hawkins’ Creed, but three shall suffice.

A seven-year-old Griselda working the counter at the shop while her father went out to get supplies had to deal with a burly man who walked into the store. It was clear to her that this man is evil, and she didn’t want him to buy any weapon from the shop. That was wishful thinking and unfortunately, it didn’t come true. The man came here with a broadsword and he laid it across the counter. Rather than wanting to pay it at full price, he wanted to negotiate a price drop. If her father had not returned at the right time, she would’ve refused service to this burly man. Negotiations for a price drop occurred and a price both were satisfied with was reached. She didn’t understand why her father allowed this man to buy the sword, and at a lower price too! When the burly man left, she asked her father, “Why did you let him buy that sword father? He is going to use that to hurt people”. Her father replied, “Sweet Zelda, do you remember the first of our creed? We are to give service. We don’t distinguish who we give service too, so long as we do it the honest way”.

A ten-year-old Griselda was walking home with her father after a morning spent at the beach. Along the way, they came upon a homeless man suddenly pulled into an alleyway. Her father didn’t waste any time rushing towards the alley and saw the homeless man being beaten by three people. One of the abusers happened to be that burly man from three years ago who bought the broadsword. Griselda watched from the corner of the alleyway as her father successfully rescued the homeless man by defeating all three attackers in combat. Despite how impressed she was with her father’s skills, why did he save that man? With the unconscious homeless man being carried by her father, she asked him as they walked to the closest clinic, “Why did you save that man? There is no way he can pay for our service and whatever happens to him does not affect us at all”. Her father replied, “Sweet Zelda, not all service must have a price. Do you remember the second of our creed? We are to help the innocent. Often the innocent become prey to those who are strong. We must use our strength to help them, especially in a cruel world like this”.

A thirteenth-year-old Griselda was returning home from combat training. This was arranged by her father the year before, her instructors were his friends who happened to be soldiers, and she had been showing remarkable progress. At the time, she could fight off several students, but her greatest challenge came in the form of vengeance. As she walked home, she encountered a familiar man: the burly man who once bought a sword from her father’s shop and who attacked that homeless man a few years back. Right from the moment that their eyes met, it was clear to her that this man meant to do harm to her, so she ran. She didn’t stop running until she was backed into the corner in the same alleyway where that homeless man was pulled in. His broadsword was drawn, and she had no choice but to draw her own blade. Once their swords clashed, their fight began, and it would become clear that Griselda did not have a fighting chance. Her lack of experience did not work in favor, but when the man was about to deal the final blow, something strange happened. She placed her hand in front of her to act like a shield. The pain came after, followed by blood. Both felt pain, but only one was bleeding: the burly man. His blood not only dripped on the ground as he collapsed, but some of his blood splattered on her body. Her chest felt pain due to the discovery of raiment, although she would not know this until later. For now, she had to do something about this burly man, and on instinct, she began to drag him out of the alleyway and cried for help.

Later that evening, she was visited by her father in the clinic, clearly concerned for the safety and health of his daughter. At first, the girl remained silent. Her mind couldn’t process what happened earlier. When she felt ready to speak, she said to her father, “Father…that man…he tried to hurt me. He did hurt me and I caused him great harm. Then I brought him here. I don’t understand why. Didn’t he deserve what happened to him?” Her father replied, “Sweet Zelda, do you remember the last of our creed? Save the lives of friend and foe. What you did was truly admirable despite the danger you were in. Don’t ever forget this night, for tonight you have fully embraced our creed. I am so proud of you”. Griselda became a fine woman due to arduous work and the many lessons that her father taught her. However, the time came for her to spread her wings and fly on her own when she turned fourteen. The Academy of Grand Magic is a place both Griselda and Nicholas believed that she will not only become stronger but fully develop into the Hawkins that she needs to be. After a tearful departure, she left home to attend the academy. Now she is a third-year student, recognized for athletic abilities especially in the heat of combat. However, due to an injury she suffered from her left heel toward the end of her second year, she had to keep her physical activity to a minimum and as a result, has been mostly left alone. Her hopes for this year is that she will find a way to overcome this physical infirmity and perhaps make a true friend.
