As the morning rolled on and the continued flow and both students and staff poured into the auditorium, a very prestigious carriage pulled up to the main gates of the Academy, escorted by several guards and lead by an unusual woman dressed in high end traveler's clothing that was draped with all sorts of trinkets and adornments. The woman herself seemed regal yet authoritative in her demeanor, even though she wore clothing that lacked the air of nobility, None the less, the soldiers followed her and the exquisitely designed carriage thereafter. The small entourage passed through the courtyard's main road, clearing the way of students and staff alike until it reached the edge of the main building's front steps. The driver dismounted from the driver's bench and quickly made his way to the side door of the carriage, opening it quickly while bowing his head. The woman dismounted her horse as did the few escorting soldiers, and she stepped in front of the carriage door. "We have arrived my lord..."

Inside of the carriage, cold blue eyes opened steadily as the Noble Lord sitting within gazed out the open door, his long hair falling partially over his face. He sat comfortably inside an extraordinarily lavish interior with one leg crossed over the other, and his face gently pressed again hand as he leaned against the windows sill. Without saying a word, the Noble Lord stepped out of the carriage, and looked up at the large main building of the Academy, as if he were scanning its form and overlooking it's architecture. The stood fairly tall amongst the others, and had a rich muscular tone. He was an abnormally beautiful man, with long black hair that nearly reached to his waist, and the deepest of blue eyes. Around his neck was a beautiful cloak lined with pure white fur, and peaking out of the folds of the cloak was a rich set of clothing that were beautifully ornate and held a deep regal nobility.
                                  User Image
"Welcome my Lord," A grounds keeper and staff member of the Academy called out while approaching as the Noble Lord was overlooking the rest of the Academy. "We've been expecting you, please right this way," the staff member said before turning into the building to lead them through the great halls towards one of the many wings of the Academy. Again without saying a word the Noble Lord started to follow the lead of the staff. The woman accompanied him, taking her place by the Noble Lord's side but notably walking just a few steps back. The soldiers that were outside closed up and escorted the carriage back into town, disappearing from view as the Noble Lord and Woman followed into the Theatre Wing.

As they approached the Auditorium, the staff opened the doors and at each side, bowed lightly as the Noble Lord and his companion stepped through the large main doors. The Noble Lord looked around the large auditorium for a moment, overlooking the event at hand as everyone prepared for the opening ceremony. There were many staff and students steadily taking their seats, the staff on and around the stage as the students filled in and sat in the auditorium seats. Once the Noble and the Woman had entered the room, the groundskeeper quickly made his way to Gannon in advance to let him know of the arrival of the Royal Court Mage. The Noble Lord took note of him scurrying up to the stage and narrowed his eyes as they fixated on the man that the groundskeeper reported to. Without hesitation, the Noble started walking up the main isle, steadily making his way to the stage, again being escorted by a staff member who then stood aside as the Noble Lord approached Gannon.

"You must be Gannon, Lord Gannon Noble I presume?" The Noble Lord said firmly before giving a slight nod in greetings to the Court Mage and Headmaster in front of him. "It's a pleasure to finally place a face to the name, I am Rhysian, Rhysian Fuerlain De'Valaer, well met..." He said with a slight smile as his eyes stayed completely focused on Gannon, almost as if he was currently contemplating his impression of the man standing before him. "Ah yes, let me introduce you, this is the prospective professor for the new class that we discussed, I trust you already have all of that in order," Rhysian said almost in jest but with a fairly authoritative and expectant tone as the Woman stepped forward to greet Gannon. "My Lord, I am Q'ara," She said while smiling and bowing lightly in greeting, "Q'ara Celeste Krea, it is an honor to be here, and to meet you," She said before finishing up and bowing to excuse herself, letting the two Court Mage's get back to their conversation. Looking over at the staffer still on hand, she narrowed her eyes as she stepped over to him and smiled. "Were do I take my seat?" She said before being escorted to her seat on the stage, next to the other professors seats that were lined up just behind the administrators seats. As a greeting, she politely bowed and waved at any professors that were arriving, or already seated on the stage.

"I take it I made it in good time?" Rhysian asked a bit rhetorically as he looked over the auditorium with a passing glance, the large room of which was still filling up and settling down before the ceremony begun. "I'm sure you're anxious, what with a new Court Mage so suddenly being assigned here... and a Royal Court Mage at that," Rhysian said as he continued to look out over the crowd of students. His tone grew just a bit more serious for a moment, but also had a gentleness to it that was both soothing, yet off putting. "If so, then put your mind at ease Lord Gannon, for I am here to help..."

Tala Maxwell and Patrick Lockheart

After another somewhat restless night, Tala had awoken early, wasting little time in throwing on whatever was close to hand and making his way down to the Auditorium. It had been a somewhat compulsory calling and he was understandably reluctant... All those people and so close together...So many chances to knock into someone...This totally wasn't his idea of fun, but still, he had to attend.

Classed as a Second Year now it was surprising to think Tala had been in Eoana for such a length of time already - and he'd learnt so much over his year there that it was hard to even consider where he would have been had he stayed back home. As he approached the main doors, the Shadowmancer could already see a large group of people lining up outside, ready to file their way in and take to their seats...

"I swear it gets busier each year," A voice drew the Shadowmancer's attention and Tala turned to face none other than Patrick Lockheart... It had been many months since they'd spoken to one another back in Eoana Forest and although Tala had seen the Third Year performing in the Marketplace more recently, Rick didn't seem to have changed much at all, "You going in?" He appeared to have forgotten about their previous verbal meeting - or put it behind them - as the Diviner calmly extended a hand to allow Tala to go ahead of him before flashing the younger male a smile,

"When the crowd dies down..." Tala muttered, having met someone who recognised him, there was little chance of backing out now, but as they moved closer towards the doors, Tala felt himself getting more wound up, his eyes narrowed as the bottleneck that was the doorway forced him closer to those around him...

"Whoa...Look at all those people," Rick had performed to large crowds before, but none as large at this - good thing he wasn't actually performing, or he might just have been a little nervous...

"I'm trying not to." Tala muttered, immediately scouting around for a seat before his eyes widened a little as his gaze fell upon the Well Dressed individual near the front of the stage... Having been advised by Baba to return to classes, Tala had spent the rest of his break preparing himself, getting his equipment and books together before working out his schedule - Not for a single moment had he considered the Elder would actually show himself at the Academy, let alone at the Opening Ceremony.

...That meant the Witch had to be lurking around as well? Forgetting about the crowd's close proximity for the moment, Tala found himself glancing around the gentleman, initially looking for the crone before realising that she must have done something to change her appearance... "She has to be somewhere close to him...!" Momentarily in thought, his eyes widened and he drew away from the touch as Rick nudged his arm,

"There's a few empty seats over there," Patrick raised an eyebrow as he watched the youth snap round and draw away from him, "Sorry, Didn't mean to startle ya there," he felt a little bad for catching the youth in a moment of thought, "This way." he would turn, oblivious to Tala brushing off the sensation as he followed quietly behind.

Once they were seated - with the Shadowmancer on the outside for a quick escape - Rick would cast his own glance around the masses, amazed at the amount of students and faculty present. Tala in the meantime resumed his scrutiny of those seated around the Elder. There were very few faces he actually recognised up front, except for those he'd met already, but as soon as the row settled in their seats, his eyes spotted the female in her exquisitely decorated traveler clothing and he knew it had to be her... Baba wouldn't have left the Elder's side and as he was dressed in all his splendour, there was little doubt that the only figure that stood out from the rest, had to be her.

Cyrus Marshall and Jesse Randall

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Having spent nearly all her time helping Leo at The Floating Lotus over the Summer Break, it was almost through her newly acquired routine that the Fennec Child had awoken early and started to make her way down towards the Marketplace... She was dressed and ready for work and had even packed her satchel so she had everything she would need to open up... It was only as she reached the boarders of the Market District that she was distracted by a well-dressed individual in a Guard Uniform who was equally as curious as to why a student wasn't attending the Opening Ceremony...

Realising she had made quite a mistake and that she was going to end up being rather late if she walked all the way back to the Academy, the Young Shifter decided it would be best to take on her Fennec Form and run all the way back. It just so happened that the Guard, one Cyrus Marshall, happened to be heading in that very same direction and offered to give her some company and even a lift if she needed one - and not in the way she had expected either!

Transforming into his Tiger Form, Cyrus couldn't resist a chuckle when the little Shifter appeared quite shocked as he towered over her - With time slipping away however, Jesse happily accepted his company and although she remained in her Fennec Form, the pair started off at quite the pace.

Cyrus was quite surprised at how well the little shifter kept up with him, but eventually Jesse relented and hopped up onto the Tiger's back - and what a sight it must have been, a small, Sandy-Coloured Fox, clinging onto the back of a large, Black Tiger as he raced towards the Academy.

"Thanks lots for the ride, I think I've even got time to run back to my room and drop off my bag," As they reached the gates of the Academy, Jesse would hop down from the Tiger's back before returning to her human form and beaming up at him, "If you ever want to race again though, just give me a shout"

"Not a problem," Cyrus had equally enjoyed their little 'Race' and as it was, he had also arrived with good time to catch his breath and reach his assigned post, "Maybe when we both have a day off, I'll take you on," he would wink at her, not entirely sure if they would get the opportunity to actually race again, but it was a nice enough thought.

The pair would head their separate ways at that point, Jesse would rush back to her room to drop off her satchel before tidying herself up and heading down to the Auditorium, whilst Cyrus, having met up with Captain Reynard prior to leaving for the Academy would now head towards his allocated post. The pair would cast a brief wave to one another as they crossed paths once again before Jesse made her way to a vacant seat and got settled to await the ceremony's start.

It was Orientation day and Ezra was spending his morning roaming the academy and making sure everyone made it to the auditorium. It was his yearly routine. Being able to see the new students and guide them as he once needed to have brought him a nice sense of nostalgia. Ezra glanced at his pocket watch to check how much time remained before the orientation speech would commence. With a decent amount of time left to spare, the red headed male made his way to the auditorium, so he could sit down and get settled.

Despite Ezraโ€™s words to Elijah, it was initially a bit difficult to push the horrible news that he heard, and Elijah witnessed aside. How could one just ignore something so grave in an instant, as if it was nothing for the moment? It wasnโ€™t possible, but over time, they were able to find themselves at ease. They found comfort in each other, but that was to be expected of the two. They spent their summer together, enjoying their time and overseeing the renovations. At the pace that everyone was going, it was sure to get done a few days before academy orientation. It was perfect timing. It allowed the couple to fully enjoy the new space that was added on and perhaps do some more decorating if they felt the space needed something extra. It was truly a nice way to relax and spend their last days off before having to get back to work and teach the students arriving and returning.

It was during their vacation that Ezra decided something. He was out on a trip and stumbled upon a place that had numerous animals. He had stumbled upon a small hedgehog that had the most adorable nose. There was an instant connection much to his surprise. The celebrar thought that since everything in Eoana has been a bit jumbled, perhaps bringing the hedgehog home would put a smile on his belovedโ€™s face. It would be the first pet they owned as a couple, almost like their first child. Deciding to go with it, he took the small creature and bought anything and everything for it. He then returned home with a new family member. The new addition also spent the rest of the summer with the couple which made the experience even more pleasant.

The loud chatter of faculty and students filled his ears as he made his way to where the rest of the faculty was seated. He offered Gannon a smile and a slight nod as he saw the male nearby. He paused to wait for Elijah to catch up with him so that they could be seated together. The sight of an unfamiliar noble looking man caught Ezraโ€™s attention as they made their way to Gannon. Remaining silent, he waited for his lover, glancing over the students getting seated along with the faculty that was already there.

    Aldaine Deโ€™Fraye

Aldaine stood amidst the crowd gathered in the Auditorium. It was the new school year at the Grand Academy and Aldaine had been assigned to guard the ceremony, along with a multitude of other guardsmen and women. As the Jaguar made his rounds, he remained calm and focused, looking for any signs of trouble however slight. As he patrols around and through the crowd, he noticed someone veryโ€ฆpeculiarโ€ฆfor lack of a better word. A man, accompanied by, what Aldaine would describe as, an odd woman, was speaking with who Aldaine had learnt to be the Head Court Mage of the Academy. The man was tall, with long, flowing dark hair walked. He wore a calm yet somewhat serious expression. There was nothing remotely about that man that screamed ill-intent, in fact, he seemed rather peaceful and civilised. Yet, Aldaine couldnโ€™t help but shake the feeling that he saw something in the manโ€™s eyes that indicated some form of hidden agenda. The Jaguar had thought to himself that it was probably nothing, perhaps he was just being a little over-cautious, for the sake of the teachers and students if nothing else. But at the same time, the Jaguar felt that he wasnโ€™t wrong to keep an eye on the man.

Turning his gaze elsewhere, he decided to move to a different post at the north-west end of the Auditoriumโ€™s second floor. Being a man with his eyes, he believed have a higher vantage point, while able to rush between the 2nd and 3rd floors in case of emergency would serve him better in the long run. Aldaine took an opportunity to take in a good look of the view he had of the room. Ugh he couldnโ€™t stand large crowds, but, a job was a job, and Aldaine had no intention of screwing it up. He made sure to keep his eyes peeled, his ears centrally focused on locating any suspicious activity that the eye could not see, any sight or sound, not matter how small, could be an indicator of ill fortune. Others might say Aldaine is being paranoid, but in Aldaineโ€™s mind, a healthy dose of caution never went amiss.

Remaining as stone-faced as ever, he continued to view the ceremonyโ€™s proceedings, ever watchful of potential tragedies.

[Thanya enters the Grand Auditorium for the beginning of the new rp day]

Despite spending most the night hunting on the academy grounds Thanya bursts in through the doors of the Auditorium with her usual abundance of energy. No amount of lack of sleep was going to dim her excitement on this day...though she did almost sleep through it. If it wasn't for the morning rays of light catching her face through the tree branches, this might have been a disastrous morning.

Thanya scans around the Auditorium. She had not seen so many people here since her first day on campus. Having spent the last 2 months of summer vacation hanging around campus Thanya had almost gotten use to having the place to herself. It was clear now how much busier the place was going to be now that classes were back in session. She wondered what new and interesting people she was going to meet and, whats more, what fascinating subjects she would learn about in class. Thanya was giddy with excitement at the prospects.

With all the people here, Thanya was not sure where to sit at first, but then she noticed a collection of young people with animal features like herself sitting in a particular area and decided it was best to join them. She sits down next to a tall thin blond boy who looked almost completely except for his strangely serpentine looking eyes. Thanya would then quickly turn to him and introduce herself in a cheerful manner. Though no less thin, she was a good foot shorter then the blond boy. "Hiya! My name is Thanya, Thanya Kamsing. I came all the way from Mistun to study here! Are you a first year student too? Were are you from?"

Thanya looks up at the shifter curiously with her large orangy eyes. Her 3 foot furry prehensile tail curled around the back of her chair. Thanya was a virtual representation of being bright eyed, bushy tailed.

                • Seraphina exited her office with a visible smile on her pink lips. It was orientation day, which meant a start of a brand-new school year. This would be her very first orientation as the academyโ€™s advisor. She had come in around the middle of the year and was still fairly new. If she could have come in at the beginning of last year then she would have in a heartbeat. Things like these were good to give information to the incoming students about what the expectations and things to look for when attending the academy. It was also a good chance too meet new people and the peers youโ€™ll see very often. That was why she wished she could have started at the beginning.

There were still so many students that she had yet to meet during her short time with the academy. Thatโ€™s why she was quite excited to take in the new faces and even some of the old ones that she had seen around. Seraphina knew that a lot of the newer additions would be a bit nervous, so she decided that she greet them at the entrance for a bit before coming in and taking her seat with the other staff members. Perhaps it would help if they saw a friendly face and got a nice greeting before coming in and listening to the orientation. Once at the Auditorium, she stayed outside and gave everyone she saw a war greeting. There seemed to be a lot of people coming to attend, which was quite exciting. With all that had been going on she hoped that nothing drastic would occur. But nothing was for sure.

[ - Begin New Interaction for RP day - ]

With one arm hooked through Mikhailโ€™s, Lelyna held onto her love while her other hand lifted the hem of her new gown. Her summer had been a truly eventful one. Lelyna was not only the lover of the Prince of Valor, but she was now the sister of Kayl De'Valaer. The De'Valaer family was one of the most powerful and influential families in all of Valor, next to the Warsongs. It seemed that because of her newfound status, both Kayl and Mikhail had felt that Lelyna had deserved a change, or upgrade, of wardrobe. Thus, the boys had taken her on a bit of a shopping spree. The gown she wore now was made of the finest cloth and considered to be the height of the current fashions. Lelyna could tell it was of high quality, but as for the fashionable aspect, she took their word for it.

Stepping inside, Mikhail led her to their seats. They opted to sit in the Diviner Section with Kayl since there didnโ€™t seem to be a specific area for Graduates to sit. Seated between Mikhail and Kayl, Lelyna smiled to herself. Sitting with her eyes closed, as to not disturb anyone who might be put off by her blind eyes, Lelyna did her best to listen to the people around her. But with so many people in the auditorium and the acoustics, it was hard to discern specific voices, aside from Mikhail and Kaylโ€™s.

Until the ceremony began, Lelyna was left with her own thoughts. After returning to Valor, theyโ€™d made her way to her home town where theyโ€™d spent a good portion of the summer. It was nice, having Mikhail and Kayl so closeโ€ฆ Kayl seemed very eager to get to know their mother better and nurture their new-found relationship. Lelyna didnโ€™t blame himโ€ฆshe too wanted to meet with their father. While she did have a Father, a lovely man who had raised her as his own, she wanted to know her other father, Kaylโ€™s father. Sadly, Lelyna hadnt been given the chance to meet him.

While sheโ€™d been disappointed, Lelyna had understood that Kaylโ€™s father was a busy manโ€ฆand as such, it might take some time before she was given the opportunity to meet him. In any case, for now, Lelyna was content to have her brother at her side. Their bond as siblings and twins grew stronger everyday and she was eager to learn more about her brother as time went on. She hoped that this year would be even better than the lastโ€ฆ

((beginning RP day)) If there was one thing Nanashi can say about all this, would be that he could thank the gods it was over. Virtually every day in the barracks were like Hell on Earth. It was either a heavy training regiment, or a fight between a couple of the newbie guards. That seemed way too easy for him, to be honest. But what he didnโ€™t miss, would be the strictness the barracks had in place. Better than the usual beatings the bandits would give for messing up, Nanashi at worse just experienced close to five hundred push ups that one day he spoke back to the drill instructors as well as Sarai. What the bar maid sees in her, he wouldnโ€™t understand. Still, he couldnโ€™t lie and say he didnโ€™t have fun. It was like being with the bandit groups, but if they happened to be good people. Nanashi remembered sharing the stories of his travels, the women, and even the wine that would be served from all of Khosbaina, before going to Eoana. It was a shame he couldnโ€™t get to spend more of his time with Jesse instead of regulating it to visits. But still, Nanashi was back to his school. Something within him has definitely changed over the year, and he could feel it. No more nightmares of the past, and no more clinging on to past grudges.

Still, Nanashi would do nothing more than to completely erase his past by striking down the leader of those bandits as closure, but would he truly be the same by the end? Nanashi would usually have those thoughts as he would enter the gates. Second year, eh? Guess now I should be really serious on improving. Nanashi would think out loud to himself as he would step in to the auditorium. There, he was greeted with the same and even new faces all crowded around speaking amongst eachother. There, he saw one face that he could never forget, which happened to be Jesseโ€™s. Of course, she was also greeting Reynard and Cyrus, who in reality, sent a shiver down his spines. He was glad he didnโ€™t have to hear โ€œDrop and give me another fifty, Kuzunoha!โ€ In those harsh tones. Still, Nanashi was the type to be stubborn and not give up, even in meaningless arguments. Shaking that experience off, Nanashi would then have a seat next to Jesse before taking out one of his many snack he just never runs out of, for some odd reason. So either I was pretty late, or you were pretty early. Nanashi would say to Jesse as his special greeting. So how are you, this morning? He would ask her.

Today was it. The dreaded orientation. Eko knew he had to go, he was here and a student therefore he had no reason to miss the event. Besides, it was a good way to... help with his social skills. He needed to start forcing himself to talk with other humans, else he'd grow up to be alone and weird. Well, he was already alone and weird, but he'd ought to not spend his life a lonely, socially awkward boy who can't fend for himself. The boy did not plan on spending his adult years living as a hermit in a forest, who's only company was the animals around him. He actually had not much of a clue on what he'd do after graduation. Perhaps he'd study under a teacher's guidance, to become one himself. First things first, though. His social anxiety.

Eko made his way through the halls, hood up and ear's covered. He had purchased a pair of ear muffs, which helped muffle the sounds that swarmed him. That, he figured, would help him not become so overwhelmed in a loud area. Now, as he traveled the halls, he had his hands over his ears, attempting to block out the chatter of other students completely. It became harder to avoid people as he grew closer to the loud auditorium, as many students were heading that way, including himself.

[Enter Eko into the Grand Auditorium for the new RP Day]

Immediately after entering, Eko squeezes his eyes shut, finding the wall and hugging it as he walks away from the entrance. He takes in shaky breaths, trying to prepare himself for what he's about to experience entering a large, crowded area.

The Enhancer slows his breaths, opening his eyes slightly, and gradually all the way. His breaths quicken, looking about at all the people, students and teachers alike. The sounds of chatter were muffled, but Eko's sharp hearing picked up a lot of their conversations. He needed to go take a seat, he realized with dread. His hyperawareness was indeed a curse nine times out of ten, and this was one of those nine times.

He forced his sight to lock onto two people, a darker skinned girl with cat ears, and a hot boy with pale green hair and snakelike eyes. Slowly, Eko took a step forward, and another, and another, making his way to the people. He was visibly extremely uncomfortable, and the blue haired shifter would surely pick up that from his scent as well. He couldn't say whether the boy was a shifter or of some other Knit, though it didn't matter much to Eko. All he needed to know was whether they were classmates, which could be figured out soon enough.

"E-Excuse me... c-can I... s-sit here?" He manages to ask, closing his eyes briefly to take deep breaths. Eko kept jumping at sounds slightly louder than the usual buzz of conversation around him, and his eyes darted about, picking up the slightest movements and forcing him to look there.

Having been woken up by the reoccurring nightmare from that fateful night in the infirmary Camilla had awoken in a cold sweat. Spending no time on it she got out of bed, showered and dressed. Standing in her undies Camilla did her hair in the mirror. Since it was naturally curly she only needed to brush it and dry it for it to look nice. Tying it back she made a sort of loose bun that allowed her curls to frame her face beautifully. Dawning a blue and black dress out of her wardrobe she laid it across her bed. Taking out a pair of blue stockings, she sat in her black underwear and pulled each stocking up past her mid-thigh. Once they were snuggly in place, she took her blue and black dress and stepped into it. Pulling it up over her toned body, she slipped the shoulder straps up her arms and over her shoulders. The dress now covering her entire body. Reaching behind her she grabbed hold of the straps and tried to tighten it and tie it herself but found it nearly impossible. Sighing she would need to seek out help. Grabbing her book she set off to get help with her dress.

* Sometime later after Camilla left her dorm, she enters the Auditorium*

After getting help with her wardrobe Camilla made her way to the auditorium. Her heels clicking the floor as she walked with strong strides. It didn't take her long to get to the auditorium. Walking in while clutching her book in front of her, she made her way through the crowd of new and old students. Ignoring their gazes as she walked, Camilla only had one thought, when would this event be over? She hated attending school functions, as she had no friends to attend with, save for Kayl. But she was sure he'd be a tad late. So she was left to her own devices. The other thing she disliked about these functions was that there was always far too many people in attendance. Her disdain for large and cramped crowds spiked during events like this. And lastly, it took time out of her training to be here. Something she held in a much higher regard than attending a school function. But since she decided that she would attend the event, she figured she'd at least do it up. After all, she was the heiress of her family.

Finding a place near the front she took her seat quietly somewhere in the middle of the row, for some reason this particular area was lacking in students. Camilla wouldn't complain. Atthis point she was very used to being alone, not that she really minded that. Just gave her more time to read and train. Opening her book she glanced up for a moment and went back to her book. But then something set off in her head that caused her to do a double take. Looking back up once more she caught sight of a man she could have sworn looked like someone she knew. But after a closer inspection, the man was someone she'd never seen before. But a part of her wanted to know him. The man was the very meaning of royalty. He held a certain air about him that demanded your respect and undivided attention. Tall, dark, handsome, and more importantly, strong. Camilla was completely taken aback by the man standing with Gannon. Forcing herself to look away from the man and at her book. She began to read while fiddling with the ends of her hair as she waited for the ceremony to begin.

{{Entering Grand Auditorium for new RP day}}

โ–With the awareness of how important the event was, Relesta had already woken up with an active and focused mentality, being able to quickly rise from her bed and get ready to leave, looking more than presentable utilizing the knowledge on clothing fashion and make up she had gained during her younger protected years and was able to maintain all this time. It wouldn't take her long to arrive at the Auditorium, an advantage of possessing a detailed mental map of the Academy after exploring so much to get familiar with the place. On present time, the new teacher came in and like many others, was blown away not only by the entire structure, the sheer beauty of it and dedication exposed in every corner, but also by the large number of souls present, made up of students and staff alike, including individuals of enormous importance considering where they were sat. Brown eyes with interest in them would scan the area for only a brief moment before the elementor began to take steps down to the seats left exclusively for the teachers. This would be the moment she would meet them all, not having a proper chance to do that before, and so, even her disciplined head was speeding through thoughts and impressions.

'Despite my worries, I should be thankful for the honor given' ,the female thought to herself, realizing how big of an opportunity this was for her, to achieve her teaching dreams after putting so much effort into it. This gratitude was able to calm her down, her gaze going from student to student as she came closer to her seat. Many fresh faces, along with eager minds and veterans, those considerationgs surfaced in her mind, together with small but friendly smiles to the students she passed by, nodding instead of actually saying hello as she was striding calmly but straight towards her chair.

Yet, once she was close enough, after having gone up to the stage and to the section for teachers, there was a woman already sitting there, wearing clothes that were completely out of place for the situation, in Relesta's opinion, but by the calmness of her demeanor, and where she was sitting, the elementor felt no need to truly judge a thing, despite her instincts indicating something was off, besides the attire. In whatever case, Relesta gave a respectful bow as soon as the woman did, and took a seat in one of the few chairs there located. Her eyes wouldn't take long to leave the peculiar figure of the adventurer looking female and move out to the whole scenario in front of her.

It was during this moment that she took clear notice of two grand men sitting beside each other, one with white hair and clear eyes that somehow indicated authority, a common characteristic of those who have experience in being in high positions, given Relesta the feeling that the man and the one besides him were the famous Court Mages, their power and influence unmatched by most people in all kingdoms. Going contrary to the male with considerably short hair, the one speaking to him possessed long and majestic hair, something that only added to the natural beauty of his face. His physique and atmosphere clear indications of a mighty role.

It was a pity that she had only dealt with messengers and other officials responsible of her entry to the cast of teachers, otherwise she would have met others that would attend the event and be within reach for contact, besides having a wider notion of what was happening more than she was informed per standard. Gannon was the main person responsible, by what her documents and other papers told, for her presence there but meeting him was considered yet impossible as the whole institution was busy, but after this ceremony, Relesta was likely to meet all the others she would be working with and for. Although, thinking through the memories of all that she had read, the one with white hair was likely Gannon, the court mage, but as she was not completely sure, questions would definitely be left for another time. Especially with how important this all was and his on going conversation with the other mage. Having nothing else to do besides keeping an eye watching over the students, analyzing them, the teacher remained in silence and merely continued to witness the spectacleโ–

~ Philia entered the Auditorium ~

So it was finally that time, the woman was now walking through the halls of the Grand Academy to attend a ceremony to begin the new year. Along with it, new students. Dare say Philia was relatively thrilled on the inside as she would have a number of different people to learn about, of course she will need to perform her duties as a Knit Teacher as well. "Perhaps this will prove more efficient." Philia would state to herself. It was true, there was far more she could find out within these halls than around the streets... Shortly after Philia had entered the Auditorium. A truly magnificent room that simply screams elegance. The chatter that echoed through its walls, the air of subtle excitement that came with the start of the new year.

Hm... The Enhancer's focus shifted from face to face. Her attention set on memorising the rest of the faculty that she would work alongside. Her gaze paused on a particular Court Mage though, Gannon Noble. Philia half considered approaching him to express her gratitude for allowing her to fill the roll of a Knit Professor if not for two details... On hand hand he appeared to be already conversing with two other faces, rather familiar faces at that. Secondly the male appeared... Distressed? "Curious." She muttered while walking over to the nearby seats where the Professors are meant to be. There, she took a seat beside another woman, one with long black hair and a rather... Dare she assume, distant air to her? Regardless Philia raised a hand in the fellow Professors direction as a greeting. She saw little reason to push for a conversation when it's more than likely the lady did not wish for idle chatter.

From there she would wait in silence, taking the odd moment to adjust her white coat or straighten the ends of her bangs, all the while scanning the enormous room and those that entered. Guards, students, faculty, even some that had supposedly already graduated and even a couple citizens just there to support said students. Until the ceremony started Philia figured she'd make a little game out of memorising as many faces as she could... And make out the ones most worth recalling in the future. A little challenge, given the sheer size of the place.

At the unmistakable sound of Nanashi's voice, Jesse's ears would swivel towards the male before a wide grin crossed her face as she spotting him approaching, "Hey!" She would shift along the row of seats so he didn't have to move so far to sit down before looking back at him, "Actually, I was almost quite late this morning," she felt a little embarrassed about that, but as they had grown to be such good friends, she wasn't afraid to tell him, "I guess I got so used to heading off to help out at The Floating Lotus that I, well, I nearly went to work instead of coming here," Her ears flicked outwards and she smiled weakly before glancing down at the snack he'd brought with him,

"Been busy?" she would tilt her head curiously, having already had her breakfast before heading out that morning, "Hows your training coming along?" she couldn't even begin to imagine how strenuous it would be training to become a guard - admittedly, she'd trounce them if it came to a running race - and she had proven that whilst running alongside the Tiger Shifter that morning, but the rest of it? From what the Elementor had told her when he'd come to visit her at the shop, it certainly seemed like hard work.

As Jace was spending his time in leisure, lightly observing those around him and listening in where he could for idle gossip to pass the time, he failed to notice someone had gone directly toward him. Or, rather than failed to notice, until that moment had thought them likely to veer off course the last minute than directly join him and as such had stopped tracking their movements. It was a pleasant surprise to have company, though he idly wondered what the persons motive for this was. He did not know well how those of the, for lack of a better term, lower class interacted. Whether she was of lower class or not, he did not know, so he would have to default to his practice. His social experience was entirely with his family and their associates, nothing more and nothing less. As such, his first thought was that she desired something from him, whether it be tangible or not. As she seated herself besides him, he kept his gaze casually on her, trying to subtlely take in her details without seeming as if he were doing so seriously. Something he had been told by his family to expect to happen to himself and due to others. It was always a game of parry and thrust, looking for any detail that could be used against the person while trying to deny them what you could. 'Hopefully this proves unnecessary.' He silently thought to himself.

He immediately noticed her bright brown eyes and wild black hair, given his attention was foremost towards her face as was proper. Anything else was in his peripheral, and though he had noticed her entry earlier, he had not tried to take in any detail. Thus, for now he did not notice her tail. Though he would've preferred to analyze a little further, the girl seemed to take the initiative almost immediately. Jace would calmly and quietly listen to what she had to say, a calm and casual smile on his face as he did. She had introduced herself as Thanya Kamsing, asking a few questions about him, but what peaked his interest the most about the conversation was that she was from Mistun. 'A place I am thankfully familiar with.' He thought to himself. Though he was aware of the general things going on in the kingdoms, Langfrey kept in contact with Mistun for the trade of resources and was one of their primary providers. He also knew that his families business involved a few of the noble lords their primarily. Thinking, as he had to learn many of the financial partners and businesses of the family if he was ever to inherit it, he recalled that they mainly traded peas and rice. Though the memory of them being a bit more primitive surfaced in his mind, he could live with that. He had never actually interacted with someone from their personally, but he figured it was just an overstatement or misunderstanding...hopefully. Keeping his pleasant smile he would calmly reply to the girl, giving a small inclination of his head to do so. "A pleasure to meet you Miss Kamsing. I am Jace Willem. To answer your questions, I am indeed a first year student and as it so happens I am from Langfrey. If I may inquire, do you happen to be associated with any noble lord and if so which? I am afraid I only have knowledge of a few, but perhaps it is one I am familiar with." Jace took his time in speaking and answering her, not feeling rushed to give out his own answer and even going as far as to mention a bit of knowledge he had about Mistun, no matter how limited it actually was. A bit of give and pull, to see if she would offer up anything or even comment on him being from Langfrey. 'As well as to see if she recognized my name or not.' He thought, hoping she wouldn't but having to wait to see. So caught up with thinking about whether she would recognize him and her being from Mistun, he didn't yet notice her tail.

Further because of his distraction he failed to notice the approach a boy to their party, that is until he was asked a question. Quite surprised to have somehow attracted the attention of yet another in so short a time span, Jace's eyes would widen momentarily before he would recover. He calmly shifted his gaze from Miss Kamsing to that of the boy who, from Jace's current perspective sitting down, seemed roughly his own height. Jace's eyes quickly yet casually scanned the person, taking note how he seemed to need to calm himself and how his eyes were darting around everywhere. Quite uncomfortable from what he saw. Still, the boy had asked politely enough that Jace saw no reason to turn him away. He would gesture with his left hand to take a seat with him, a polite smile on his face as he did so. "By all means, feel free to join us. Please, seat yourself where you desire. I am Jace Willem of Langfrey, and this here is Miss Thanya Kamsing of Mistun. If I am not overstepping my bounds at having just met you, what is your name and where do you hail from?" Jace would speak to him with a polite and cordial tone, doing his best to be as civil as his upbringing demanded he be. Though he was indeed curious, his questioning of the boy was so that he would have equal footing in terms of information. He could not be sure of what he had heard since he had come up to Jace by surprise, and so felt he should at least attempt to inquire on it. He only just them realized the boy had ear muffs on, and hoped that he had heard his response.
