Gannon's statement about the new court mage was something that he was agreeing upon, to say the least. But still, there was the nagging thought in the back of his head about that guy, mostly about the mysterious side of him loaded with secrets that were still left hidden. With Gannon being bombarded with questions from the students, it was cue for the court mage to step aside, simply giving him a salute as he walked away from him and away from the auditorium. As he made his way back to the office, that thought returned again, and he sighed. Answers would come by at another time, as he had a lot of stuff to do in his office and it was no time for further pondering about it. Not to mention that he would still lecture about the Music elective since there was no one taking that spot as of yet.
With that, he would make sure that the lesson plans were all set for the day, including the instruments that had to be checked over in case they would need some adjustments or repairs. One thing was for sure, it was going to be a long day, all before another busy day would start tomorrow.
Nothing much happened after the posh boy had left the two alone. Twitch ignored everything going on around him, his hand stroking the back of the dog's right ear. He spaced out, thinking about what could happen during this next chapter of his life. He hoped he would find a way to make a lot of money so him and Riku could live it up like the nobles did. He was snapped back into reality when the voice of the court mage finally piped up. He looked up to see an old man welcoming them to the academy. Twitch didn't care much for what was said except for the announcement about the forest....what was in there? Why were they not allowed in there? "Maybe it might be worth checking out," he thought to himself as the ceremony carried on.
The man continued to mumble on before introducing his replacement. "So this guy is stepping down? Huh this should be interesting, wont affect me or Riku hopefully," twitch thought as he continued to listen. The ceremony dragged on, not much was said that really interested twith, even Riku yawned making some heads turn in annoyance. Once the ceremony was over, twitch left with Riku plodding behind him, he had no intention of staying any longer, he just wanted to find out where he was staying.
