Tala would feel his ears twitch as he heard his name and his gaze would drift from the match towards his fellow Elementor as Nora enquired about his ability to use weapons. In hindsight, the youth had handled an array of weapons in his short life - mostly whatever he could get his hands on - but rarely had he needed to use them...
Realising she was summoning him over, the Shadowmancer would glance back briefly to the match before turning to advance towards them - he was barely a pace or two in motion when he suddenly heard the familiar 'thunk' of a hand hitting the table...They were fast! He cast a brief glance over his shoulder and realised the new student had bested their tutor - and how he'd missed it - but for the moment, although he was glad for the female, someone had addressed him with a question.
"Not necessarily fight..." he started to create a dagger in his hand as he advanced - there was obviously no intention to use it, but he was hoping to show he knew something of melee weapons at least, "...But I've handled a few," As he walked, he wondered if he could perhaps expand on his weapon creation, perhaps consider longer blades, or polearms and halberds even? Maybe he could take it much further and consider bows and arrows? But that would take A Lot of Time and Practice...
"Good match, Nephthys, welcome to the class" So that was her name? Tala would once again allow himself to be distracted, long enough to see the female perhaps react to his mention of her name before his gaze drifted towards Gin as he announced the end of class...
Not nearly close enough to have shown Nora the blade in his hand, Tala quickly allowed the shadow-weapon to disperse before glancing back to the small group - moreso towards the Water Elementor, "I can use them, but I've no real skill..." depending on her reaction to his words, Tala would linger a little longer before picking up his things and taking his leave...He had practice to do.

The pup had such a lovely name. She then glanced over when Gin had offered some arm wrestling. He seemed to be in high spirits. He reminded her of how Rey was when they were younger. Always wanting a challenge somewhere. She looked out the window as tears ran down her cheeks. She had finally come to acceptance of Rey never coming back. She turned her head back as she heard Gin had lost not once but twice. "Bested by girls Gin. Getting a bit soft somewhere?" She had walked over and checked his arm to make sure his muscles hadn't turned into fat. She chuckled as she gave Tala his companion and friend back. She would have held the pup for a long time.
She had watched as her students had filed out one by one. Even Gin had stopped and checked on her before she had left herself. She would stumble home feeling a bit dizzy. She would go straight to bed and fall asleep. Her day was long to her and her feet hurt. She was sure something was not right. She may need to see a doctor for the next day.
Camilla was happy to hear someone speak up and let her know she wasn't intruding. Camilla would constantly include her self when not asked, it had become a problem at one point. But whenever people discuss combat she gets excited. When Nora asked her about her first weapon her eyes went wide with even more excitement. '' My first weapon was a lance! '' She said happily. '' From polearms, I went to blades and from blades, I went to bows and bows and so on and so forth. '' Camilla had realized she was rambling and laughed nervously. Hearing a thud she looked over to Gin and the new girl. To her surprise, she saw that Gin had lost again. It seemed the new girl was stronger than she looked. Smirking she hear Gin call her by her name. ' Nephthys huh? I will have to remember that and play with her some time. ' She thought to herself. Looking at everyone she smiled widely. Having friends made her so happy. Tala admitted he couldn't use weapons very well though he had some experience.
Clasping her hands behind her back she smiled while closing her eyes. '' Well, if you guys ever want to learn a weapon of any kind just let me know! I and a bunch of people meet up on free days or if class lets out early to train at the training grounds. Tala has been out with us a few times. But if you ever want me to train you with a weapon I'd be more than happy too! You can come to get me at my dorm or just meet me at the training grounds. '' She'd say happily. But it was time for people to file out of class. Tala would leave, then their teacher whom still didn't look good. But her teacher said she was fine so she wouldn't worry about it. Waving by to Gin and the new girl. '' Later Gin, later Nephthys, right? We'll have to play next time. '' Camilla would say with a sly smile. Waving bye to the rest of her class she'd say bye to Nora and Jace as well as Azura. Heading back to her dorm she'd train for a while before getting ready for bed.

The entire time he had meditated with his wooden sword, Nanashi would look over to Gin and Camilla who would have an arm wrestling competition. In reality, he actually was routing for Camilla, in which she actually won. Soon after, was the new student whose name was Nephthys. She won, and it made Nanashi wonder what her raiment was. Still, Nanashi wasn't really interacting with much of anyone here. He would get up, and would practice his sword swings on the training dummy, before the class would end, and people would begin to leave. Nanashi wondered what he would do for the free day with Jesse, and maybe Rin if she wanted to tag along. ((exits to day flip))
Nephthys laughed at Gin's comment about being popular with the ladies. She sat up a little straighter whenever he met her hand with his own. Her blue eyes locked on to his as both a sign of respect and a means of showing him she had no intentions of backing down or going easy on him. She nodded at his comment regarding the same rules and on his mark she began pushing her hand into his. She almost faltered at his compliments, but knew better than to break concentration for mere flattery. She could feel a light sweat break out on her forehead, even with the window open to allow the cooler air in. He was definitely not a lightweight himself. She let out a light grunt of her own as she finally forced his hand to the desk and let out a sigh of relief. Nephthys hadn't realized she'd started holding her breath at some point during the match and took a few additional breaths to get herself back on the right track so she wouldn't be huffing and puffing on the walk to the front of the school. The teen smiled a bit at Gin's comment about not catching a break. "Not today at least."The teen pushed herself to her feet from the desk as the others started to file out of the room. She stopped short when Gin addressed her by her name- her actual name instead of her middle name. She didn't remember telling him that. She thanked him for his positive comments and quickly shuffled over to her bag. At first, she'd wondered if Gin knowing her name had anything to do with his raiment. However, pulling the paper from her bag she'd brought from the office- her copy of her enrollment forms- she realized in her haste to prove her aunt this was the best elective for her, she'd forgotten to keep up the charade the elder lady had insisted on,as her name was on the form which Gin and Leo now had a copy of on the front desk.
"Oh well"the girl said to herself, shoving the papers back into her bag. That would be a discussion for another time. The older woman was getting more and more accustomed to not getting her way all the time since Nephthys had moved in. By this point, Leo was poking at Gin's arm to be sure he hadn't skipped a day at the gym and Nepthys was unrolling her sleeve to get to the button she needed to fasten before meandering out into the snow. Nephthys overheard the pink haired girl talking about an additional training group she wouldn't mind jumping in to herself. It would (hopefully) be a good way to keep her physical muscles strong as she worked on her mental ones with her raiment in class. She was fixing her hair after putting her bag and cloak back on when the pink haired girl offered her a wave and addressed her by name. The teen offered her a polite smile and a small laugh. Apparently beating the teacher as well had given her some class credit, enough to be invited to 'play' with the other female. "Yes we will. I'll be looking forward to it."She offered the girl a wave in return before she double checked everything of hers was in place and she wasn't forgetting anything. It was hard to keep the proud smirk off her face as she pulled the cloak's hood up while she walked down the hallway toward the front of the school. She was really enjoying her time at the academy so far...
Azura really didn't feel all that surprised when Camilla had joined in on them from behind. If anything, it would have made their time a bit better. Azura saw how she was very excited about her training in many weapons, from swords to pole arms and even more. In reality, it made Azura wonder if he would be any viable with a weapon. He'd been training with his martial arts for so long, he never really got to touch anything else. But why couldn't he learn to fight with a sword? You know, that would be pretty interesting. Azura added to Camilla's explanation of people joining to practice with her. It was then that Nora said she barely knew fighting in general, which was weird to him, because Nora held her own very well during the festival fight. Still, they all needed to improve, really. Even when Nora spoke to Tala about how he can shape his shadow raiment into weapons, he knew that even Tala was great at this. Still, he would take up the offer. So Nora, how about maybe tomorrow we go join Camilla? Azura asked, as he saw that it was getting late. Hope I see you at the training grounds tomorrow! ((exits for the next day))
Having not seen Rhysian for some time now, Tala tried his best not to think about the man nor anything that could be associated with him, instead, he had returned his to his room and started to train well until the early hours of the morning before curling up on his bed, with Fea burrowed into the blankets next to him.
When the time eventually came to emerge from the cocoon that was his bedsheets, the Elementor felt somewhat reluctant to head to his Combat Class - although he was starting to get used to the closeness of the lesson, he couldn't help but wonder what they might expect of him that morning - it was still cold outside for one and with snow on the ground and it being soo cold...if they had to take the lesson outside, he just didn't feel quite prepared for it...
Still, the instinct not to want to be late for class dragged the youth out of bed and he dressed, calling Fea to his side before patting her as she came excitedly before falling into place as he made his way out into the corridor.
As he walked his mind began to drift back to the events of the last lesson, where their tutor Leo hadn't seemed in the best of health and Gin had challenged the group to arm-wrestling... If such a task came up that morning, he was ready - having found his gloves, it made physical contact that little bit more bearable, if a little awkward at times...
Pushing open the door, he was curious to find the room vacant...no tutor, no teaching assistant...No students... Had he messed up again? Not wanting to doubt himself, the Shadowmancer made his way across the classroom to his usual seat before allowing Fea to jump up onto his lap - it wasn't something he allowed often, but with the cold affecting him a little more than normal that morning, he was willing to let it slide...for the moment. Gently, he would massage the cub's cold ears between his ungloved fingertips - he planned to pull the gloves back on when lessons commenced, but for the time being, he felt the Wolf might just appreciate the contact.

Sleeping harder than normal, Camilla stirred slowly. Rolling over she looked over at the fireplace. It was but an ember now compared to what it was when she had gone to bed. Sitting up she sighed and stretched. Today was Combat class. With the weather, the way it was as of late that class was also becoming a bore. If Camilla had to sit around and do nothing for another class she was gonna lose it. Deciding she'd pop in and see who was all there, Camilla got dressed and got ready for the day. Putting on a green blouse Camilla would dawn a long-sleeved black coat with green accents and some black feathers off the shoulder. Pulling up her tight black pants and sliding into her boots she walked in front of her mirror. Smoothing her outfit out and putting her hair up, Camilla grabbed her bag and took off.
*Camilla enters Beginners Combat Class*
The snow was light and the air was cold. But a lot less cold than previous days. It didn't take her nearly as long to get to class this time around. Upon arriving at the door, she'd grasp the handle and head on in. Looking around she only saw Tala. Shaking her head she wasn't surprised. It was like everyone and everything was ditching class but her. Smiling to Tala and giving him a small wave, Camilla would turn her head away from Tala and the smile would disappear instantly, sucking her teeth before walking across the mostly empty classroom, her boots clicking as she did so. Taking her seat, she'd sit with a thud and a huff. Crossing her arms over her chest Camilla sat fuming silently. She'd wait for a little bit but if it was just gonna be her and Tala she was going to leave. Naturally, she'd invite her friend to ditch with her. But for now, she'd wait.
Fea seemed to be the first to notice that someone had approached the door and as she raised her head, Tala's eyes would drift from the window, down to the Cub on his lap, before lifting and following her gaze towards Camilla as she entered. Noting her smile, Tala would return the Enhancer's wave before dropping his gaze and returning his attention to the world outside the window as she seemed to take her seat with a huff... It should be easy to ask how she was fairing, but part of him felt she wanted a moment to herself? Whether he was right or not was another thing however...
Regardless of how the Shadowmancer seemed to take Camilla's body-language, it wasn't hard for Fea to see that the female wasn't in the most fantastic of moods and so, with little reason to want to keep her distance from her - apart from the fact she'd lose her warm spot on her Pack Brother's lap, the cub would rise, turning round on the spot so she was facing the right way - her ears swiveling towards the male who seemed to stifle a grumble as her paws dug into his legs - before she vaulted off his lap, landing on the floor and shaking herself from head to toe before padding across towards where Camilla had chosen to seat herself that morning.
She knew Tala was watching - he wouldn't always let on, but she was reassured that regardless of the place or situation, he would always leap to her aid if anything went awry and so with little to fear of the Enhancer anyway, Fea approached with some determination that if he wasn't going to enquire as to how Camilla was - then she would.
Making her way across the room to where the female seemed to be silently brooding, she would sit down a foot or so away - her still-blue-eyes lifting to regard the Enhancer curiously before letting out a quiet whine as though attempting to ask the female what was on her mind... One ear flicked back as she heard the light movement of the Shadowmancer's clothes as he turned his head to find out why she'd made that sound, but then it swiveled back as she tilted her head... She'd give another enquiring whine before shuffling forward slightly - tempted to paw the edge of the female's boots in an attempt to get her attention, but knowing that if Camilla wanted to interact, she would.

When Nora woke up this morning, she was terrified to see that the sun was higher than it usually was before she left for class. Nora had stayed up a little late last night practicing what she had learned from Rhysian the previous day, so her body must have tried to compensate for the lack of sleep. She hastily got dressed and sprinted to class as fast as she could, nearly slipping on ice and losing her balance at one point.

When she reached the combat classroom, she was surprised to see only Tala and Camilla in the room. She waved to both of them with a small smile, still somewhat panting from the run here as she took a seat and waited for the rest of the class to show up. Whle she waited, she opened up a few vials of water and began working on what she had been practicing so late into the evening last night.

Leo was a little late getting to class today. She had been very tired lately and she just didn't want to get up. When she did get up Leon walked her to school which was a nice walk. She enjoyed her time with her mate. She would wish him luck on their house for the day and give him a sweet kiss. Walking through the school she would see kids hurrying to their classes. She opened the door to her class and entered. Her eyes scanning the room.
to her surprise, three of her students were already there. She sighed as she smiled. She lowered her head as she went to her desk. She laid her bag on it as she cleared her throat. "I see I have been beaten here again. I am glad to have such wonderful students. But I might be a bit tardy for a few months." She glanced around as she smiled. She was hoping to see more of her students before giving the big news. She was so happy and her face was glowing.
"Winter and I don't get along but I am also with child so I may be even slower." She said as she looked at them. She hoped they understood she couldn't participate in teaching them now. She would really be on the sidelines giving orders. "Would you all love to go out and train today?" She asked as she folded her hands in front of her.
Camilla had been lost in thought. Her leg bouncing up and down as she waited to see who would show up next. But suddenly there was whining at her side. Raising her eyebrow, Camilla would turn her head to look at what made the noise. Her gaze moving down she saw Fea looking quite concerned. The grumpy look she had on her face immediately disappeared. Replaced by a huge smile Camilla inhaled excitedly. " Oh hello Fea you sweet thing. Are you worried about me? " She would ask happily. Reaching out she'd pick the adorable pup up and sit Fea down in her lap. Stroking her head gently Camilla would nuzzle the pup and kiss her head. " I'm sorry to have worried you, little one. I'm just in a bad mood. I've been cooked up inside for far too long and it's just starting to get to me. " Camilla would say softly to her furry friend. Camilla loved animals, especially dogs. Always so sweet, and cozy, and even further was that they were always ready to love you no matter what.
Smiling uncontrollably Camilla continued to pet and scratch the little pup. Both raised their heads and looked to the door when Nora entered. Giving a small wave Camilla would quickly go back to loving on Fea. " Oh Fea, you're so adorable! Tala is sure lucky to have a companion like you, yes he is! I wish I had a friend like you Fea. " She'd say laughing and smiling and ruffling her ears and fur. Not too long after Nora entered their teacher entered. Watching her go to her seat behind the desk, Camilla would listen to their teacher talk and share her news about being with child. Smiling softly Camilla would speak up in response. " That's fantastic news, Leo. But I would love nothing more than to go outside and do anything. " She would say with an almost desperate tone.
Nephthys was cozied up in her blankets and sleeping soundly. The quiet of the morning enveloped her nicely. However, that was the problem. It was quiet. No alarm. No aunt shrieking. No Nigel bustling about. She sat up with a start. "WHAT TIME IS IT!?"her voice echoed throughout the silence of the house as she grabbed the watch off the bedside table and threw it back down in a huff. There was a note there explaining the whereabouts of her missing housemates but she didn't bother taking the time to read it as she hurriedly scrambled out of bed and over to the closet. She slipped into pants and a fur lined vest over a long sleeved shirt. She grabbed a pair of boots with a flat bottom instead of her usual heels along with her bag and cloak. She hopped into the shoes before rushing out the front door and hailing a carriage. She had the fare for the driver ready and shived it into his hands after leaping out of the carriage. She normally wouldn't have been so rude, but her rush to get to combat class had her in a panicked frenzy. "Sorry! I'm late!"she called without waiting to hear his reaction as she narrowly avoided colliding into a pole while stumbling across the icy ground in her rush. She hit her right thigh, shoulder and knee. The teen swore in frustration as she refused to lose any more stride than she had to.
She finally arrived, huffing and puffing in the doorway in time to hear their teacher announce she was carrying a child and they would be training outside today. Great. She hadn't fallen hard enough to rip the material, thank goodness, but the dirt and snow she'd hit left a large wet spot on her leg that wouldn't help her in the cool air. "Congratulations, Professor! Wonderful news!"the teenager rested her hands on her knees and took a moment to catch her breath now that she was here.

That was the trick! Fea's ears flicked back and her tail swished merrily from side to side as she lifted her front paws up, watching as a smile spread across Camilla's face and she leant down to scoop up the cub before setting her down on her lap. She loved the attention and happily accepted the head rubs before returning the 'kiss' as the Enhancer started to explain how she was tired of being cooped up all day long - Fea understood that completely.
Tala took her out as often as she needed - he had learnt the 'signs' long ago and was always quick to respond, but because of the cold weather and the fact her little paws would freeze up so quickly, she often ended up being carried around by the male - not that she minded as they kept eachother warm, but still...she longed for the chance to have a good run around without needing to warm up again...
The Shadowmancer would watch from the corner of his eye as the Enhancer's mood seemed to change the moment she spotted Fea by her side - Camilla's frown turning into a grin as the Cub was scooped up onto her lap and her presence relished fondly. As Nora entered, it seemed all three of those within the room would turn their gaze towards her before the pair went back to enjoying one another's company. It made Tala happy to see that Fea was happy and so he would acknowledge Nora with a wave - not realising he was also smiling slightly - before returning his gaze to the front of the room as the Water Elementor took her seat and began to practice her Raiment.
It seemed Rhysian had made quite the impression upon the female and Tala couldn't help but wonder if the man would be able to help inspire him somehow as well? Still, his attention returned to discretely watching the pair from the corner of his eye until their Tutor entered, congratulating them for having beaten her there again before gracing them with the news that she had offspring on the way - The woman seemed to glow as she told them and Tala could feel her excitement radiating out into the room - it was when Leo asked if they would all like to go outside to train that the pleasant feeling that had grown from watching Camilla and Fea play seemed to disappear and he felt a sort of shiver at the thought they'd be leaving the warmth of the classroom for the outside...
Camilla certainly seemed to jump at the idea - and Tala knew how much Fea liked being outside...well, until she got a little too cold and he had to carry her around...but he guessed it wouldn't do them too much harm - He couldn't help but feel a little sorry for their newest addition to the class however as she rushed into the room just in time to hear Leo's great news...What was her name again? Nef...Nemph... Well, it didn't matter right then, but maybe he'd have the chance to learn it when they made their way outside?

As class progressed, a light knock came upon the door. After a moment, a young male page stepped inside the classroom, a note in hand. “Pardon my intrusion Professor, but I have a note for you from Gin Kuroko Acckerman.” The page stated before moved through the classroom, as quick and quiet as a bunny until he came to Leonora‘s side.
“For you.” Handing over the note, the page made a little bow to the Professor before turning on his heel and exiting the classroom, closing the door behind him with a light click.
The note read:
Hey Leo, Sorry, but I wont be to class today - I seem to have caught a bit of a cold and Gianna is insisting that I stay in bed. I guess walking through that storm yesterday wasn't a brilliant idea. I'll do my best to get better and see you next class. Hope you're feeling better. -Gin
