There was a notable bristle to Masoal's posture and expression when Floren started corralling the both of them. Whether or not he was right about where they were going, the touch was like a challenge to the unsocialized tealblood. He yanked himself away, but the sudden influx of the crowd pushed him back in towards Emiola and Floren like a wave. If he looked bothered before, he looked downright irritated now.

"There's too many trolls," he complained, pushing closer to Emiola because she was the lesser of about a million evils right now. The troll relations director was rattling on about tours and media and Masoal just didn't care.

"Where do we go, then??" he asked Floren, his tone aggressive, another challenge. His first attempt at getting them out of here hadn't worked, so what was he going to do to help them now? Masoal crossed his arms indignantly.

Heyyy," she turned to Floren, "I think we should talk to the lady 'cause she seems kinda stressed too. Ask her something! Hey laaaady!" She judged Floren forward while keeping Masoal back. See! She whispered to Masoal, "I think we missed the party..."

Nevermind his wrong thinking, they had spoken to him so the child could only try to do the same. Explaining himself wasn't as hard as he thought but now he had to choose where to go next. Volunteer's quarters sounded like the best option-- not because of the investigation itself, but the amount of loot he could get his hands on was just too tempting.

Poe nodded. "I think you will be important enough some day. Maybe even, some day, soon," he mused, catching her eyes. She was talented! When she got older and started doing her magic in front ofcrowds, surely they'd all want to talk to her and ask her questions. Even if it wasn't for her magic...

As the interview crowds died down, and the operations manager started leaving, Poe looked at the crowds heading the opposite direction.

"We should follow her, because, I bet she knows something more!"

"Ahhh... Maybe... I hope so..." Soon...? He thought she would be good enough for media attention so quick? What a nice thought! But- but! she was nowhere near ready! She wanted to be really, really good before trying to perform. Poe's words were reassuring either way.

The interview eventually died down, and for their patience, waiting nice and out of the way so no one had to get upset, they got snubbed! Wander wanted to puff her cheeks out! How rude!

Poe spoke up as she continued to watch. She looked up at the greenblood and nodded. Would it be so bad to take a second of the manager's time....? Wander herself didn't think so. And Poe knew how to talk to people. So maybe they could do this.

Floren leveled a flat stare at Masoal, not appreciating his tone but refrained from giving him a matching response. Nope, he was capable of being the better troll. "I will work something out." He responded simply. Between the two tealbloods and the TR manager, he was starting to feel a tad overwhelmed. No no, he couldn't let all the hustle and bustle get to his head. He took a deep breath to settle himself, thankfully accomplishing that before Emiola nudged him forward.

"We're interested in the volunteer quarters tours. Do the tours pass by any of the entrances or exits?" He glanced back at the other two as he spoke, two birds with one stone. More progress on gathering information, and a possible lead on getting the two of them out if that was what they wanted so badly. Or maybe that was just Masoal.

Path: G. Ask about the tours of the volunteer quarters

Bringing up the security issue to the masses may not be in the military’s favor, but Tsarzi wasn’t too bothered by that. The media may get curious and get in the way which would be irritating, but a price to be paid to finally get some more solid answers or direction on what they were trying to find. The Troll Relations Director certainly didn’t seem to happy about it, but, that was the point.

Flaws in the system, hmm. Pural. Interesting to know there was more than one internal problem and they were aware of them. This security mishap wasn’t just something that managed to fly under the radar or get by, but it was allowed due to an inherent issue with the internal mechanisms of the military.

Or it was misuse of language. She’d believe that too. She’d keep an ear out to see if she could find out more about this possible issue. Never hurt to know more.

Luckily it seemed like she’s actually get some direction or something vaguely close to useful from this troll.

Avvisi's spongeclots perked up at the sound of drama. She Put a hand on Tzofia's shoulder as the girl seemed to sniff out clues like a houndbeast, and looked at what the purpleblood was looking at. "Agent Tzofia Ocelli does it again!" She said, winking and making a finger gun at an imaginary camera. There was always a camera in Avvisi's life, weather it was physical or imaginary, there it was. She spun around, and posed in front of the group. "Lets dump that lame volunteer quarters lead and fallow the real mystery." She pointed to the Lead Architect, "That guy's hideous comb-over."

"Stop that. It's not for you." Kwelin remarked sharply to his lusus. Pawpa was having a grand time rolling around on the snack table, sucking up cheese cubes into his mouth and nibbling on things. The blueblood was so embarrassed. Why did his lusus have to be so poorly behaved all the time? He needed to be more disciplined to make up for this. Tzofia and Avvisi whispered (well, one of them did) and he nodded in response.

"I agree. It would be wise to follow up on this lead. It seems suspicious to me." He looked to Philip for confirmation that they both shared the same concerns here. Somehow, they tended to have a similar reading on people even if they arrived there differently. It sort of annoyed him but Philip was mostly competent so he supposed it was okay. Yanking Pawpa off the table a final time, he shoved the lusus in his shirt and crossed his arms to hold him there, trapped in place.

He knew how to blend in in order to disappear when needed and how to pop out to get someone's attention. Swinging by the snack table on his way back to his friends, the orangeblood blinked when he realized Kwelin was looking at him.

He offered him the cookie he'd just snagged.

"I heard some weird things about him. We should definitely check him out." The hemoanon boy nodded when caught up to speed. He snagged another cookie for the road before heading after the architect as he left. A small white dot floated up from Philip's head and flew closer after their target.

Sephos' name tag was not illegible, because he hadn't been the one to write it. Thankfully. "Ask...?" Sephos wasn't sure. He'd just been intending to look around, but... "Oh. That's a good idea." He said. And when he thought about it, it was.

"I'm not good with talking." he said, considering the small yellow child, "You do that." There - that way Sephos could look around AND the good idea could occur. Different methods made the garden grow... or something, Sephos wasn't sure if that applied to the people context yet.

There wasn't much to observe, though - just someone working alone. Sephos squinted at the papers on their desk, discerning some of the words even as he also determined that he didn't really care. What he did understand, as he looked around, was that there would probably be more stuff out here. This was where things ended up, after all.

Apparently the little yellowblood had the same idea. "See anything? That isn't supposed t' be here?" he asked them awkwardly. At least he knew what was supposed to be here. Kind of.
