Eyrli was quick to respond to Mikhail's question in her own manner, thanks to her friends aid. "I have been well, thank you." Most of the day was just idle chatter and perhaps even expressions of relief or sorrow as a result of the young Diviner's absence. After some confliction Eyrli set her mind to refrain from prying about the sudden return of Lelyna's vision, simple wanting to allow things to return to normal before bringing up potentially sensitive subjects.
Eventually it was time to part and Eyrli bid farewell to the couple as they'd be returning to their home while the Elementor would be heading back to her Dorm. Come to thing of it... Perhaps it was worth trying to meet with her roommate before she's already out, socialising.
Larina was back to herself. She had spent some days away from the infirmary as she had been just been sleeping most of the time. She was back and to herself. She had even begun to expose her skin again. She came to understand her clothing was not the reason people were attacked that day. She did like being in shorter dresses. It helped her rush around easier. But the downside was making sure she kept warm.
She looked around the infirmary as she giggled. She held a warm drink in her hand. White roses littered her hair as she had it braided to the side. The roses scattered through the braid itself. Her dress' slits were high on her thighs. Of course, her shoulders were exposed. But this did not stop her. She knew what Merek liked and she would wear them well.

This might be unfortunate for Larina, but Merek will have no white rose for her. As much as he likes to bring a rose for her on a daily basis, it is not a good look for the infirmary. Too many white roses may raise concern for some the staff and students. On the bright side, he could save money for a gift that will be more impactful. Atem accompanied his master on his trip to the market to seek out herbs and other ingredients to continue brewing medicine. He did not need much since his stock of medicine is starting to become stable once again, but it never hurt to have a little extra in case of emergency. When he finished his trip to the market, he went to the academy and walked into the infirmary. His nurse is already there, beautiful as ever, and wearing something that is more to his taste. She seems to be recovering well from her recent mental and emotional dilemma, which is a good sight to see for Merek. He patted the nurse's head gently, spoke sweetly towards her, and the two of them worked together to create medicine and treat those who visited the infirmary today. He did take advantage to act like a romantic whenever the two of them were alone, which at points he may have pushed a little too much just to get a cute reaction out of Larina. However, he did behave when asked to by Larina, and he knew that he could act less professional when he is home.

It had felt like such a long time since she'd felt so warm...
...and after feeling so cold...
Blue eyes fluttered open slightly and the Fennec Shifter first drew a breath, then exhaled a long yawn - her ears flattening back against her head before flopping outwards as she rubbed her eyes and wrapped the sheet around the back of her neck before curling up again... She'd never felt so comfortable - not to mention the covers were soft and warm...almost like home.
"What's that smell...?" Wrinkling her nose at the scent, Jesse opened her eyes again, her vision a little hazy for some reason, but it soon started to focus and she sat up with a groan before her eyes widened at the sight that met her, "Wait...This isn't my room...!" She looked down, half expecting to see her pretty little night clothes, but these weren't anything like she would normally wear...
Her long tail curled across her knees and Jesse hugged it close as she looked around... "How did I get here?" Normally, the smell of the Infirmary would force her to give it a wide berth, but strangely, it was only a hint on her senses... "...H-hello?" Unsure whether or not to get out of bed, she drew her knees up as though ready to move before straining her ears to listen for any movement, "...Is anyone around?"

At this point, Merek can relax a bit now that he has enough ingredients to keep creating medicine without having to worry about going to the market and hoping that they have the right ingredients for him. He also has enough medicine made that he will not have to rely so much on his raiment nor constantly brew more. This could not have come at a better time since Merek had to remain at the academy since he has a patient at the infirmary who has been resting overnight. He arose early in the morning in the academy's infirmary, having slept on one of the infirmary beds. His patient was still asleep, so he got to work on making a herbal tea for her. After the heating the herbs and water for about twenty minutes, he served it in a drinking cup just as Jesse woke up and asked in a frightened manner if anyone is in the infirmary. Merek made his presence known to Jesse by walking over to her while carrying the cup of herbal tea, presented it to her and said,
"I am Dr. Wildfire. Drink this. It will warm you up and clear your head. "

Perhaps a little more baffled that frightened, Jesse did jump a little as the Doctor wandered into her line of vision with a cup of something that would quickly flood her senses leaving her nose tingling a little... Recognising the man from the times when she'd passed by the Infirmary, the Fennec Child nodded trustingly and took the cup, resisting the urge to sniff it too deeply after what she'd already smelt before taking a sip - she certainly needed to clear her mind...but in regards to the cause of the haze and the reason for it being there, she was rather unsure...
"Thanks," Knowing it was always best to trust what the doctors prescribed - even though most of the time it ended up tasting 'yucky' - Jesse had quite expected the drink to taste rather repulsive, but was surprised that it actually had a pleasant flavour to it... "But...Why am I here?" There was a niggling feeling in the back of her mind, but she couldn't quite place why... Had she been going somewhere? Was she supposed to be doing something? Taking another sip, she lifted her blue eyes towards the Doctor questioningly,
"I don't think I was coming here intently...?" Glancing away, she tried to think - If she was going anywhere, it would have been to class, right? Her ears would suddenly perk up at the thought and she would start to look around with some concern, "Wait...what time is it?" The last thing she wanted to do was be late for class - there was so much she could be missing out on by being late or not turning up...

Merek waited for Jesse to take a sip of the herbal tea that he gave to her. people have different reactions to his tea. Some like it, others find it repulsive. He does his best to counteract the bitterness of the herbs with other ingredients, but he also does not want to risk neutralizing the healing properties that they contain. Fortunately, she did not spit out the tea. She should start feeling better as she drinks more of the tea. However, she is confused as to why she is in the infirmary to begin with. She does not remember ever showing at the infirmary. As for the time, Merek is aware that the school day is just about finished, so his patient has been asleep for some time. He is not sure if she is ready to leave quite yet, at least not until she finishes the tea and he makes sure that nothing else is afflicting her.
"Unfortunately, I do not remember who brought you here, but you have been asleep for quite some time. "Right now the school day is just about to finish, and I would like to make sure that you are feeling well. Are you suffering from headaches? Stomach pains? Fever? Issues with your raiment?

"That late?" Jesse's ears shot forward as Merek told her that the time for class was almost over, "I've never been late before..." She couldn't begin to think what she might have missed, although exactly which class she'd missed was a little beyond her... Had it been an Elective day? If so, then she would still be able to catch up by reading her books...but if it had been a Knit class....
Her ears would swivel backwards as she pondered this, lifting her gaze as the Doctor asked if she was experiencing any aches, a temperature, or perhaps issues with her raiment... The latter of which she was keen to demonstrate - for her own peace of mind as well, "I think I'm alright...?" With that, she would take another sip of the herbal remedy before setting the cup on the side and utilising her Raiment - a form her family and friends would recognise instantly on account that she used it so often.
Knowing Merek wouldn't be able to understand her talking to him whilst she was in that appearance, Jesse would remain quiet as she turned herself round on the bed, stretching out her limbs and ensuring everything felt in order before reverting to her human form again. "I feel okay," She was not a doctor however and had also failed to notice a slight dappling of spots that now ran along the darker patches of her fur... "Do you think I can go?" She still couldn't remember what had sent her to the infirmary in the first place, but with nowhere except her bedroom and perhaps the library to head, she was prepared to follow Merek's instructions if he believed otherwise...

"Not yet. You just woke up and I do not want you to leave before I am absolutely sure that you are not suffering from any side effects or ailments that can put you in serious danger, although I am positive that you will be able to leave soon."
Like any doctor should, Merek did not let Jesse left soon after she woke up. There has to be a reason why she came to him in the condition that she was in, so he asked her question after question regarding how she feels, whether this happened to her before, etc. Once he asked all the questions and documented Jesse's answers, he performed a routine checkup just in case he notices something that she did not. As a result, he felt confident that Jesse can leave, although he did tell her just as she was leaving to stop by the infirmary if she starts feeling dizzy or exhausted for no apparent reason. Aside from Jesse, there was nothing else for him to do other than work on documenting paperwork for the school before leaving for home.
Merek does not know what will happened today. Hopefully it will not be another case like Jesse where she seems to be okay, but he is still not sure why she was asleep for so long. His feathery buddy, Atem, is faring better now that the weather is warmer in comparison to what they experienced so far. It is still chilly, but Merek and Atem is relieved that there is no snow. The doctor arrived at the academy, ready to do some work. With no patients, all he can do is go over more paperwork and work on his journal where he notes experimental treatments.

Jesse had to admit she was a little disappointed to hear that she couldn't quite leave just yet, but understood that Merek wanted to ensure she was healthy enough that she wasn't going to suffer any adverse effects from her initial...episode? Before setting her back out into the wilderness that was the Academy again...
After a plethora of questions and a thorough examination followed by some advise that if she started to feel woozy or tired without any visible reason that she should return, Jesse thanked the doctor for his time and took on her Fennec Form - she of course didn't want to walk the halls in Pyjamas...
Making her way back to her room, the young Shifter would change her attire before grabbing her things - it had come to her attention that she had missed several days and that she was close to missing one of her favourite lessons...
Once again taking on her Fox Form - spots and all - the Fennec Child would find her way out into the corridors before taking a good run down towards the Shifter Class - Having felt like she'd missed so much already, she didn't want to waste any time by walking slowly to a lesson she may already be quite late for...
If she was honest, Jesse was perhaps travelling a little too swiftly to note the estranged glances she received from a few of the students who had become quite used to seeing the 'spotless' little Desert Fox speeding down the corridors on her way to class...

It is back to work for Merek and Larina. Hopefully there won't be any student that gets injured or sick on the first day, but that is usually not the case. Just in case, he is adding tea to his morning routine. It was something he used to do from his homeland, but adjusting to his current lifestyle meant he needed to stop some of his former habits. However, he does not want to be complacent where he is right now. There is always something he could to grow in knowledge and skill, but he needs to find the inspiration and motivation to learn and practice. In addition, his research cannot be ignored. There is always something out there that has not been treated or cured yet, especially with some weird things he has encountered before. Once at the infirmary, the first thing he did was to prepare tea for both Larina and himself. The two of them have grown accustomed to drinking ginger tea for various reasons. For work, it has enough of a spicy kick to jump start their bodies and strengthen it. He also prepared Atem's feeding station in an attempt to get him off his shoulder, but that did not work. When the tea was ready, he poured himself a cup and started drinking it.
"This is me speaking. It sounds weird right now since I am only talking to myself, but normally I would be talking to someone else."

As the morning started to roll in, the light falling upon the bed would lightly stir the young man who fell asleep at the side of the bed. He was exhausted after staying up half the night watching over Camilla, who endured through some serious pain throughout the night. Kayl had known that something was off when he hadn’t heard from Camilla the night before. She hadn’t come to his dorm like she normally did, nor returned to hers, and Kayl grew worried. At first he thought perhaps she was still with her father, it made sense, they hadn’t seen each other in sometime. Camilla, however, wasn’t one not to at least inform him.
At first, he thought he might have been overthinking things, and decided to take a walk to clear his head. But when word of one of the students being brought to the infirmary reached his ears, he couldn’t help but think the worst, and when he arrived he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. How in the world did this happen? Camilla was completely unconscious, but her body still trembled throughout the night. Kayl was almost refused entry, but in his anger, he used his family’s power and influence to stay with Camilla, after all, there was nothing any of them could do after they managed to stabilize her as best they could. Throughout the night, she would have small tremors and reactions, and he would take her hand and try to soothe her. Now, as he slept while the morning’s haze filled the room, his head was perched near her waist, his arms laid in front of him with a single hand holding hers. The warmth of the sun could be more readily felt in the air. Kayl wouldn’t wake, but as he turned his head a single word left his maw after taking a breath. "Camilla…"
Camilla didn't know how long she had been asleep for. She did know that it had been for several hours at least. She could hear things and feel things but her body wouldn't allow her to wake. It wasn't until the sun had illuminated her room and she heard her name that her eyes opened slowly. Groaning Camilla moved her head slowly to look around her. She was in the infirmary. She didn't remember how she got here, she would just assume her father brought her here. Nice of him considering he was probably furious with her. Looking around still, her eyes landed upon Kayl. Smiling sweetly she raised her arm and brought it to Kayl's head. Running her fingers through his hair she would pet him in his sleep. It wouldn't take him long to wake once she had touched him. Smiling to him she would move to sit up only to gasp and wince in pain. Her free hand immediately going to her ribs. Her eyes becoming watery, she forced a smile. " I'm okay. Just sore. " She would say to her sweet. Brushing his hair still, she held her smile. She was sure he had a million questions. But she wasn't sure he'd like her answers.
Her eyes watering once more she could only imagine how worried he was. She would have been beside herself if she couldn't find him. Tears falling silently, she sobbed as quietly as she could. " I'm so sorry Kayl. I know you must be worried to death. " She said in a hushed voice. She was trying her hardest to keep it together. If she sobbed too hard it made her ribs hurt, a wave of pain would follow then that would surge through her whole body. So trying to keep that from happening was at the top of her priority list. Forcing herself to stop she took a deep breath. She didn't like showing this weak side to him. She didn't like causing him pain and concern. It was something she loathed. " Well, I'm sure you've got a few questions, yes? Well, feel free to ask away dearest. " She would say with a weak smile as she did her best to remain as motionless as she could while she awaited her beloved's list of questions.
Feeling the soft touch of Camilla gently passing her fingers through his hair. Kayl started to stir slowly. A couple minutes of the soft touch would ease him as he woke, before he realized that Camilla was now awake. He sat up fairly quickly, looking to her with a huge breath of relief before standing and coming closer to her. "Camilla... You're finally awake..." He would say as he looked her over as she tried to sit up. He put his hand out to stop her but it was too late, she had already moved enough and was now wincing from the sting of her broken ribs. Kayl's hands shot up instinctively to try and help her, but he stopped when she smiled and said she was ok. "Try not to move..." He said as concern filled his voice, a tone of worry echoing in his voice just as much as the sadness of his beloved being hurt was showing on his face.
"Are you ok?" He instinctively said as his eyes started to water a bit, the question more so asked rhetorically out of general concern. She was still injured, of course she wasn't perfectly ok. At his question, she would answer him in earnest, apologizing for worrying him so, but Kayl would shake his head at her words, telling her not to heed it any mind. When she spoke again, he would look to the ground as questions and thoughts that he did have seemed to melt and cluster and roam from his mind. "I probably have many, as you have said, but now I can't think of a single one, or rather, I don't even know where to begin," Kayl would say while pulling the chair closer to her side and sitting once more. He let out a deep sigh before looking her in the eyes, his head shaking in confusion as face once more showed worried concern. "What happened?..."
Camilla would smile to her beloved as concerned grew on his face. She hated herself more and more each time his eyes watered. She had done this to him. Forcing her own eyes from watering she would look away for a moment, to collect herself. His question to her was simple, what happened? This would be easy to answer. But she was sure he wouldn't like what he was about to hear. Clearing her throat she would look back at her dearest and speak." Well...I met with my father as I had planned. But things kinda went downhill when we sparred." Her tone was soft, gentle. " I was fighting my father without my raiment. And I was doing alright considering. But then he got a little serious and so did I. I activated my raiment again...before the time had reset on it...and well, he and I tore up the training ground fighting. Unfortunately, he bested me and I ended up like this... " She said disappointedly.
Looking at him she was unsure how he was taking it. So she would continue talking. " Kayl, I'm sorry I worried you. I hadn't meant for things to turn out this way. I just wanted my father to be proud of how far I had come. I thought sparring him would show him that I've improved...but in the end, I think he's just more disappointed in me than when he got here. " Tears in her eyes she clutched the blanket tightly. She felt like a complete failure. She had worried Kayl to death, her father was disappointed in her and to make matters worse, she was going to miss class because her body was a wreck. When Kayl still hadn't said anything she had to wonder if he was upset with her. Reaching out to him she put her hand on his and grasped it tightly. " Kayl, please don't be upset with me... I wanted to meet you at the forge, but the double rebound from my raiment rendered me unconscious. I-I couldn't even tell you where I was... " She said while doing her best not to sob and cry.
