She left the world behind.
Her hooves no longer touched the earth.
Skimming the tops of the trees she giggled and wrinkled her nose at the sensation.
She rose above the clouds and her spirit became giddy as the bright moon came into view.
The skyfleas shone and gleamed, gathering around her and riding upon her pelt.
She trotted through the air, she twirled and sang, and danced.
She had never felt happier and the beauty of her soul burned brightly across the heavens.
And so taken were the stars with her that they put stardust in her fur and starshine upon her hooves
And they sent her home to sleep, Starry Eyed and new.
