Cynril honestly considered staying in the catacombs for once. He couldn't afford to bleed, no way. Even if his only exit was covered in glass and parts of the hive's wreckage. The mutant was being smart about it. There was no way in ******** hell, he'd take that risk. There had to be another way out.

Sighing and scratching his head, Cynril tried to think what other ways could he take to get out of the stinky and dark catacombs. He went back where he started to try and look for another way out until he did.

This time, the fall wasn't as bad s the other times. Instead of crashing on the cold floor, Cynril fell on top of a nest. The teen let out a fsighed, feeling relieved his escape would be painless. Of course, that all changed when a pack of mildly venomous squeakbeast, large and angry, drove him out of the catacombs.

Screaming her way down, again (this time with a few giggles in between), Dale made her way to the Catacombs. The ground was softer than last time, which was good. And even if she got dirtied up with mud, the child still smiled. "It's all part of the job!" She chirped. Ampere slithered his way down as fast as he could, and didn't take long for him to follow Dale's scent. They really liked the new atmosphere down there. The wetter and murkier, the better!

"Yo dude, I'm so glad you're here! I found some fab stuff and forgot to show ya." She giggled. It came to her notice that things were getting wetter and wetter, and even as she splashed through the muddy puddles, she kept a serious face.

"Something's not right man..." She muttered until... until the path dropped off. The cavern was flooded. "Oh my goodness gracious.... AWESOME!" Ampere didn't have any troubles swimming but Dale? She didn't know how to swim. "Well, guess you are finally gonna show me how to swim! Yay!"

"Woah lil' brosis surely a fine squeakbeast like you can see- EEP!"

Fletch dodged out of the way last minute as the squeakbeasts attacked, and then rolled in a foward tumble, then jumped, then started running. And running, and running.

He was puffed by the time he got the top, but at least the squeakbeasts hadn't caught him!!!

Back at it again in the catacombs, but the landing wasn't as soft this time around. Guouli fell hard, then whatever slammed down on top of him fell even harder. He screamed and struggled, even though the shifting weight made him scream even more. But he refused to be buried; Guo still had plenty of s**t to do. He wasn't about to keel over and die in this ghostly shithole with the rest of the dumbasses that got got.

It took a lot of time, a lot of shifting and squirming with just the right angle and force, but he eventually dragged himself out from the cave-in.

Acteon fell into the catacombs again, not much longer after Guo and Fletch fell. Fletch was right, and the fall wasn't nearly so bad from down there. Their lusus managed to keep them from breaking their neck as they fell as well. However, the ground here was slippery with... yuck. They lifted their foot and pouted at their StepDad. "It's guano!"

Despite that, they eventually managed to find a way out...

Aconan had never been so glad for Loupsus. Whilst the mud was thick and sticky, his brute strength meant it was easier for him to traverse than Aconan, and he had soon picked her up in his maw and deposited her on his back.

...mind you, getting all the mud out of his fur was going to be HORRENDOUS.

Stemma fell to the catacombs again, screaming the whole way down. Falling once again into water and muck, Stemma cursed the teenager that her team had been blindly following. Why was it that when she was in charge, this didn't happen? She harrumphed, mentally blaming the bad luck on the blueblood.

She eyed her surroundings, her gaze falling on a large silhouette in the distance. She took an apprehensive step towards the darkness, but the creature noticed her, and quickly started in Stemma's direction. She shrieked, running past her lusus and out of the catacombs as fast as her little legs could carry. Krampa could catch up, but it was better having him as a buffer than struggling to get him to pick her up.

Acteon finds themself in the catacombs again, laying down on cold earth. They stood slowly, unable to locate their group members. Oh well. They were fine on their own. They always had been!

With a sniffle, they scrunched up their nose. "Ugh..." The smell of hot garbage wafted through the air, but along with it was the scent of freedom. "C'mon, Steppy," they groaned, heading toward the smell. It would lead right to an exit, surely!

As Guo got to his feet with a groan, he squinted to see the glistening area around him.

Glistening because glass...again. Another groan. Guouli would have to smell guano for a while as he tried to shuffle his way out.  

[T-Kai]

Mud was the actual ******** honking worst! Fletch was furious at first by the slow pace, then despondent, then just. tired. tired and grouchy and ready to flail a ********' fist at a bro who looked at him wrong.

Thankfully the mud led out to the sea, so with a quick check for any real seadwellers around (there weren't any, thankfully) he took a brief dip in the ocean to clean himself off.

Helped him calm down, too.

Hemera should have known that their luck would not hold out after so many close calls. She should have tried to have her and Eridia leave after the first time. Hubris struck again. All on her.

Staring down the debris in her way, she really wanted to kick herself. She could have avoided this. And now Hemera would have to test and see how her boots as well as prosthetics would hold up with all the hazards around.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaahhhhhhh.... s**t!" Eridia landed back first on the ground. Oh how her back hurt, and surely her pervious wounds had reopened again. She should really see a specialist to study her nerve damage. See if there was anyway to rehabilitate those. She really hope there was a way around that. Eridia truly didn't want to be discharged from her duties due to her wounds. No... She was stronger than that.

Just as the highblood did her best to crawl her way out, more wreckage fell on her. It took a while, but Eridia managed to get out of there. "Moachm! Where are you?" She screamed. Honestly, Eridia didn't want to be alone for all of this. She couldn't, the ghosts of her past haunted her... Reminded her things she thought she had buried for so long. She took a deep breath, exhaling her fears and kept on walking.

Once again, Odette found herself in a precarious, lonely situation in the catacombs. Once she had enough time to calm down from her... encounter in the mansion, she slowly started to plan her escape to the surface. Her capelet could carry her a decent draft up the roots, but she definitely would have to put in some work of her own to get up.

After her earlier panic, the redblood welcomed a little bit of exercise to help ease her mind. There were no mirrors here, no ghosts to frighten her, make her question herself. She'd take her time getting back up to the mansion, as she'd probably have to take a break before adventuring further, anyways.
