He watched, increasingly entertained as some dumbass greenblood got hit. After, he watched the dramatic death announcement for the redblood, and some relationship triangle stuff or whatever continued to be a thing, or whatever. Who cared, really. He just wanted to see someone die. And he was the one on the watchlist? Hilarious.

s**t, maybe he really should get some community service in and join the military if they let trolls get away with this kind of thing.

The glow of watching an amazing show broke momentarily as Acteon got themself involved. It was funny, at first, and still kind of funny when their lusus was punished for being a little shitlord. If Guo had learned anything from his own stint, it was that there was a time and a place for mouthing off.

In that time, the small body crashed into his, knocking the wind out of him. "Oof!"

He held onto the child, though, probably out of the reflex that they might go after their lusus. Probably a bad move if they did. Guo whispered to the kid quick, "Don't join the body count, pipsqueak."

He looked up again. The blueblood checked out his surroundings, all the kids stuck on this wild ride, the troll and the ghost at the center of it all. He replayed Gerard 's many, many words.

Guo rolled his neck, cracking it a little. He got this. "Esteemed commissioner," That's what he was, right? Though he hated playing nice with some midblood, but whatever. "I respect your ambition and your pursuits. I apologize on behalf of some of the younger among us who don't get it yet. Youth, you know? But, on my end..." He cracked a shark-tooth smile. "I'd like to help. I know someone in the robotics field, a direct contact for that body you're looking for."

She'd lost it- she'd gone completely insane. Mihail ducked down behind Aligaa once more, looking to the side where he could see the other pair of kids in the room that weren't egging on this insanity. Carefully he crept toward them, using Aligaa's long body as a shield. The alligator shifted to move closer, defensive posture still kept up as the room seemed to just fall apart. As soon as he was within earshot (without raising his voice too much) Mihail waved at the identical trolls to get their attention. "We ha--aave to get out of h---ere, Gla--Glamis needs to know wh--what's hap-hap-happening. Come?" He made a jerking motion to the nearest door. It'd take a sprint for sure, but maybe if they all booked it at the same time they'd make it out before Gerard could cause too much damage. Hopefully Aligaa's armored skin would help.

Assuming they'd follow, he held up three fingers, then counted down. Soon as the third finger was down he turned and ran for the door, Aligaa raising up on all fours to both follow and attempt to provide some cover for the retreating trolls. This would be the last time he agreed to something as foolish as this, that was certain.

"Yes sir!" Reisio yelped. There were tears in their eyes now. The large, blueblooded lusus had just been eviscerated - other trolls were having the same treatment, right in front of them. Flatparent squeezed them to comfort before forming the second half of Aligaa's body shield.

Reisio grasped Oisier's hand so hard they could sense their knuckles whitening, and ran.

--
Gerard side-eyed the fleeing kids. It was not his priority to stop them, but he would at least make them regret leaving his audience.

The green -no, now blue - hurricane whipped towards the fleeing three and their lusii, aiming to slow them down at least for his chaos to reach them.

Everything that Eridia had done up to this point had bothered him. She had been an unreliable biased witness, bossy and ignorant, and now she was attacking other trolls. Despite evidence proving her wrong, she'd rejected the truth multiple times to try and overwrite her own reality over things. As a troll devoted to finding the truth, it opposed the very core of him. Philip had stayed back and taken notes on the proceedings, trying to give the purpleblood a chance to prove him wrong- to show that she'd had a different plan all along.

They were out of time.

"This isn't a game! Get out!" The detective shouted at Aceton who'd only added to the fire by imitating Gerard before their lusus was attacked as well. Philip didn't mean to sound harsh but his voice was urgent, ordering the blueblood to get out before Gerard did something worse to them. He wanted to minimize the injuries. He'd been too late to protect the wounded greenblood but there was still time for everyone else.

"Go get help!" Philip yelled to the escaping trolls. He knew this was dangerous, he was going to get hurt. But he had to stop Eridia from slaughtering them all. As he kept his back away from her, the detective spoke into the communicator he'd received for Comedi's seance. He configured it to the same channel as Eridia had been instructed to use, needing to make sure Glamis heard him. Lives were at stake here.

"Glamis! Gerard and Eridia are attacking us! Send help!" The boy pleaded while grabbing some rubble off the ground to defend himself with. Nervously he inched away from Eridia while scanning to see who else needed help escaping. The teen blueblood seemed to be talking with Gerard and while Philip couldn't tell if he was sincere or stalling and distracting the ghost but it was good enough for now. He left Guouli alone while he surveyed their options.

It didn't look good.

Eridia stopped thrashing, slashing as she hear the communicator go off. The child... He was telling Glamis what she was doing. No, no, no! She was going to lose it all unless... The highblood paused and turned around to look at the children. Eyes cold, disassociating... They were all against them. All of them.

With a crooked smile she took her own communicator. Feigning her tears, even her eyes started to water, and a worried voice she turned it on and... "G-Glamis? I..." She stuttered, the way she used to do to get away with her consequences as a child. There was no way she would get affected by this. Sure she expected a consequence later on but nothing that would be too harsh on her that would strip her from her privileges. No, she had to outsmart them. "Help..." The message was choked out as she stepped closer and closer to the children. "H-help us!" She wailed. "GLAMIS!"

One of her daggers was flung right after she ended the transmission. Aiming, not at the children, but near them. If any of them got hurt, wounded even, it would not end well. The dagger got lodged on a wall near them and that's when Eridia took her other weapon.

Her skull.

She needed to cut off any external communication with Glamis. With that in mind, she laughed at the idea she had, powered on the skull, took her aim at Philip's communicator before firing. “Keep your eyes open, child. Keep your spongeclots pricked. Keep looking behind you. Because one night I'll find you, and then you'll be culled." She said darkly, still aiming, still shooting.

"What the hell?" There was a brief pause.

"I don't have time for this. The energy core is getting closer. I'm sending back-up."

It had become painfully clear that Eridia was out of control and not fit for military service in the state she was in. He was almost amazed at how far she had gotten in the command chain with such an unhinged emotional state. If a troll could not follow logic, even if the facts pointed to a painful truth, how could they make important decisions? He scowled as the purpleblood slashed her way around the room and others aggravated the ghost further. This was ridiculous.

He nodded to Philip as the brownblood pleaded over the communicator. What they were doing was dangerous and risky but they could not allow things to spiral further into chaos. There was much about the occult he did not understand but one fact stood true among the mysteries: the ghost was empowered by something in this mansion and there was the chance that it could get stronger from the turbulent purpleblood making an a** of herself. She flung away the dagger and Kwelin ran to pick it up, tucking it into Philip's hands. Bullets rained out from her gun but he was not afraid.

He was a blueblood. It was his duty to protect and uphold order. A greenblood had gotten hurt and he had stood here scared doing nothing. That had to change.

"If you want sympathy, take this!" He ran at Eridia, launching himself at her upper body and wrapping his arms around hers in a tight embrace. It was a wrestle to keep her movement contained and he only hoped the other children would escape. He knew Mihail was a strong capable fighter. Hopefully the purpleblood would return with further help.

"You need to stop! Gerard isn't going to save you from the aftermath of this- you're going to face it alone! Repentance is your best bet or they might strip you of your rank! Worse, they might arrest you!" Surely the purpleblood had enough self preservation left in her to realize she could be kept apart from her dear Gerard if she ended up imprisoned. He was a lawyer, he knew her defense was looking pretty weak at the moment. A plea of insanity was not a one time defense, it would affect the entire rest of her life. Attacking civilians because of personal problems was not going to look good on her record.

Sephos was not good at combat, but he was big, strong, and pretty good at protecting himself. Sort of. He grunted with bitten back pain as mirror shards sliced at his instinctively guarding arms, lodging 'luckily' in his bones.

The horrible sensations were overwhelming, but at least they were... sort of familiar to Sephos. The bad break in the Chittentown tower had been just as painful. This time it was his arms - and at least he could move them.

"Eridia! Stop! Please, stop!" he begged her, gasping in panic as her, "I didn't say you were a villain! You're not a fool either." He managed to protect his body and face, "I just want you to stop and... Augh!" He flinched away from her blows, bending (not breaking, though) under the storm of blades lacerating his skin.

His more injured arm wasn't moving right, but he still had two. The mirror shards stopped attacking him, and a hemoanon troll ran in to help. Sephos took the opportunity to lunge at Eridia and grab her with his good hand. He was a big strong troll. Even one arm would help.

"Stop this!" he implored her.

This was a disaster. Oisier wasn't inclined to swear, but they knew a shitshow when they saw one. Blood had been spilled. Threats had been made. People were going to wind up dead and Oisier wasn't about to let themselves or their twin be one of them.

Thankfully not all of their companions had lost their damn minds, or their vital fluids. A younger purpleblood was waving Reisio and Oisier over. Oiser nodded frantically.

They turned back to Reisio, only to catch sight of Eridia pulling her weapons. She had done what little she could to try and throw Glamis off her trail, but even she knew better than to rely on that trick alone. The knife swished far too close for Oisier's comfort. They stumbled on the uneven flooring and their own fear. "Reisio, we need to-"

Oisier's eyes widened as the other blueblooded child--Kwelin--flung himself at the deranged purpleblood. What was he trying to accomplish? Oisier would later recognize their feelings as impressed and horrified. At the moment, however, they were too concerned with survival to dwell much on introspection.

"She's not worth it! Run!" It was the most assistance Oisier could offer a troll that suicidal. Their hand gripped Reisio's hard enough to intersect and the pair ran off after Mihail.

Hemera followed the directions over the communicator, and kept it on her as she made her way over. Immediately upon arrival, hearing various upset, often child-like voices, something was clearly wrong. The entrance was cut off...by...glass? What in the world had gone on here? East...east...east. Which seance was at the east block? She had been present for the coordination talk, for crying out loud!

Was it? Gerard? Her belly sank. On the one hand, of course, on the other...goddammit. Eridia. Anger rising, she iced up completely and stepped in, boomerang out and ready for the trouble she and the other ready trolls were about to face.

The ice was still mostly on her, though cracked from slicing, when she came in. It was still over her eyes. Livid, her voice was forceful. "Stand down."

??? Summoning
Chiara was busy ripping off strips of Zindel's clothes and wrapping them around her arm. She had managed to fend off Eridia a little with her arm, only getting a deep slash for her efforts instead of something worse. But still, there was blue blood on the ground. Not Good. She should have been more concerned, she should have cared more, but if the blueblood got found out Zindel would be screwed. She knelt on the ground, frantically erasing evidence and covering up wounds.

Eridia didn't appreciate having someone cling to her.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" She screamed, trying to take the child off her. She did her bast to yank her off him like one would do to take off a tick. At this state of mind, child, teen, adult... It was all the same. Though he was right. At court she'd be at a disadvantaged, unless... She pledged for this crime as if she was unstable. "You... I'll kill you..." She would've thanked him really, but it would crash the act down.

Chapter Two: Where Insanity Reigned. It had a nice ring to it actually.

She spun her other dagger close to the blueblooded child, laughing at all of this. The more insane, the more irrational, the more immoral she appeared, would help her in court. Sephos attempted to stop her again, this time she let the fake tears take a hold.

"YOU! YOU ARE WITH THEM! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. OFF WITH YOUR HEAD, OFF WITH EVERYONE'S HEADS!" She screamed, headbutting the greenblood with all the strength she could muster. That actually brought out real tears out of her. The pain was utterly great. Eridia stopped her tracks, tears still streaming down as her body trembled. Hemera had arrived. It was if all the positive feelings she had gathered during the item searched quickly made themselves present. Her breathing was heavy, Eridia was panting as blood streamed down her face-- mixing with her tears.

"Stand down.. You are telling me to stand down?" She laughed bitterly. "Why?"

"Why should I? Why should I! I'M JUST DOING WHAT'S RIGHT!" She was louder, crankier... Desperate. Gerard, she needed him...

Philip dropped the communicator now that it was broken and useless. He winced at the burn of Eridia's beams as they skimmed his hands. There wasn't time though and he gripped the dagger Kwelin had forced into his hands.

"Doing what's right?" The detective repeated her words as a question. As she wrestled with Kwelin and held a dagger to him, he let her take in the scene and see how preposterous this was. The orangeblood watched her with a quiet anger.

"Explain. How is this right?" The boy demanded as other trolls filed in. He was impressed by their promptness and made no move to stop any of them from entering. He knew this was dangerous and that they needed as many armed trolls as they could get to shut the situation down. His job was to stall Eridia until the new forces had arrived. That and to prevent her from taking any captives.

"How is killing everyone in this room going to help anyone?" He stepped closer with her dagger raised to protect himself, demanding she answer for what she'd done.

"Oof!" her headbutt hit home and he staggered back. He'd lost a lot of blood, and his arm was hurting so much that it had almost... stopped... hurting... sort of. But he was made of sturdy stuff, and there was nowhere for him to flee. Nothing was right here, and he had to fix something of it.

Eridia was a horrifying, colorful mess. The flower analogy returned to mind - bright-colored carnivorous flowers this time, not the choking vines. "Stop !" he tried to charge again, but he wasn't feeling up for a proper tackle - instead, he grabbed for the skull blaster, hoping to pull it away (or at least out of her hands.) He remembered it well, and he'd stopped her from using it before.

The cycle recurred. He could do it again.

"Hold it!" The dagger came close to him and the blueblood yelled angrily at the woman to spook her.

"That's a good bluff but not good enough to fool us." Kwelin remarked coldly as Eridia further spiraled into chaos through her performance. The words she was saying were too calculated to be pure insanity and she was clearly stalling for time before she was forced to do something irredeemable. It was unfortunate that she had already crossed that line.

Philip stepped close with a dagger and a question raised. Kwelin found himself caught off guard by how serious his friend could become. It was a side of the brownblood he rarely saw and it made him feel both uncomfortable and proud.

"You will kill no one. As my associate says, there is no benefit for you nor for Gerard! Explain how anything you're doing is or has been right in any sense of the word!" He could feel Pawpa inside his jacket, now awake and alarmed as he tried to wriggle free but Kwelin kept his grip on Eridia and thus his lusus was stuck inside his clothing. They could not allow her to run wild again. It was dangerous enough having the ghost loose and to be honest, he was more concerned about that.

"Officers! The ghost is still active and killing lusii- assist us!"
