Odette was relieved and thankful that the Lieutenant was not cross with her. Her mood improved considerably when that was made clear. Nodding, she moved to help Sarcel up the cliffside first, summoning a small gust to slowly carry the blueblood up to the scuttleway. She turned her attention to the little tealblood, and offered to help her up as well.

"Hold tight on the corners of your coat, and I'll take care of the rest," She said, and propelled Kerras up as well. She thought about helping Guo and Acteon, but realized that they were more comfortable getting down on their own, so she let them be. Once they were secure, Odette went back over to Tigwyn, and moved to lift the orangeblood over one shoulder.

"Take one end of the tarp, if you can," Odette instructed Hemera, taking the other corners of the tarp in her free hand. With a good warning for the Sergeant, she filled the tarp with wind like a hot air balloon, and the three of them lifted into the air ever-so-carefully, touching down softly.

Kerras's worrying was almost cute, in a way. Trying very hard despite the odds, despite the fear. Admirable. The other children, too, had tried very hard... But almost foolishly so. She would contemplate the difference later, when she was more up to it.

Hemera nodded at Sarcel's request, nearly a bow in its own right. "I would be honored." And by god it would mean she was helping to some degree.

She watched as Odette sent trolls flying, a bit in awe of the power. If only Mera's own power could be used for more than her own self...

From there, she quietly followed instruction, focused on the task at hand (and admittedly trying to prep herself for lift-off) and then

Guouli saluted Sarcel as she left the ledge, and only loosened up after everyone else was gone. Finally. A moment of goddamn peace. He put his hands on his hips and looked down at Acteon.

"All right, let's blow this joint. Foot hurts and I'd like to sit the ******** down for a bit."

They watched, only mildly disappointed, as the thing they had been sent to fetch merely put the old man to sleep. Oh well. Guess that stopped him from zapping everyone into the ocean. Even so... the ground began to rumble. The mansion was collapsing into the earth.

When Odette had pointed the girl out speaking to the Lieutenant, they grinned and waved to Sarce. They had to go talk to Odette too, before they and Guo left. They nodded to the military officer. They were only doing what they had to.

With everyone gone, they stretched and turned to Guo, arms behind their head. They shrugged and gave a lazy smile. "Yeah dude, I bet you five beetles you're gonna end up with a nasty scar on that thing," they said, nodding to his foot. "Ready to climb?"
