Aldaine DeโFraye
Aldaine found a spot at the park that heโd instantly taken a liking to. It was more or less located in the parkโs centre and it overlooked a nice pond, which blended in nicely with the treeline that surrounded the area, the water so clear it mirrored the environment perfectly. There werenโt too many people there, it was just the right amount of silence for Aldaine to kick back and relax.
He had spent the past while reading his recently purchased novel, and so far, he was enjoying it. He was only on chapter 3 and the suspense was already starting to kick in. Heโs have to find the author some day and commend their work. Looking up from his novel and taking a look over the pond, he merely took in his surroundings. He breathed in the fresh, earthy air, his ears perked up as he listened to the sounds of the winds bristle through the leaves and birds tweet and chirp. It was then he noticed a little sparrow that landed on the bird bath. He watched it chirp and splash the water happily, finding it hard to keep a small, soft smile from donning his face.
Sometimes, when the Jaguar sat like this and took in the world, a small part of him couldnโt believe he survived all this time. At that time, when he lost his eye and arm, he thought for sure that that was the end of him. Yetโฆ here he sat, in Eoana, reading a book and enjoying the park. How much of his life had he wasted being so withdrawn and pessimistic? Heโd had his reasons to distrust people, his childhood, and even some incidents in his adulthood was a testament to that. But lately, he had come to view people in Eoana in a different light. No one here cared about his background or heritage. No one cared that he was a Trendel soldier, well, bar Reynard and some of his men when he initially met them. But aside form all that, everyone merely saw him as another person, not a former Trendel Captain to mock and not a noble to suck up to. Most of the people he met here, didnโt greet him with a frown or look of fearโฆthey mostly greeted him with a smile, Diane was a testament to that. Even Cyrus, who initially seemed so withdrawn like Aldaine himself, managed to aid Aldaine in coming out of his shell a bit. Maybe it was a bit much to say at this point, but the Jaguar couldnโt shake the feeling that he and Reynard were becoming more accepting towards each other, if not friends and civil acquaintances if nothing else. And all in all, the Jaguar felt lessโฆtense that when he initially arrived. He wasnโt sure what caused it, but something made him at ease in Eoana. Perhapsโฆthe Jaguar had finally found somewhere he could actually call him homeโฆsomewhere he belongedโฆ
Shaking himself from one of his ever-present day dreams, he took out his silver watch and glance at the time, 7:15pm. Looked like heโd have to head back to the Barracks soon. But for the meantime, he, marked the current page in his book and tucked it away in his coat, and spent the next little while watching the sunsetโฆ

Walking through the park grounds as the festival was in full swing, a small group of men was spread out amongst the crowd, blending in as they walked about the park, occasionally purchasing items, and taking their positions in the area. Waiting patiently, they would try to keep a low profile as they wandered through the park, and soon enough the signal they had been waiting for would come. Back at the main grounds, a loud explosion would fill the air, and the men would immediately get to work. First, a Grey Armored Soldier would unsheathe his sword, and cut down the first citizen in his path. Screams would start to echo through the park, and suddenly a blast of icy cold waved out, causing several people to suddenly trip and fall as they grasped at their skin, trying to fight off the frostbite that was encasing them. In the distance on the other side of the park, a Red Hooded Rogue pulled his daggers and started to run through the crowd, stabbing anyone that got in his way as he sprinted through the grounds. As people started to try and run, some of them suddenly were unable to move their muscles and were frozen in place before suddenly getting stabbed in the back, and falling to the ground as the Rogue ran on to the next. Lastly, at the center of the park, a Red Cloaked Soldier lifted his arms in front of them as they shifted into powerful claws, and he rushed the crowd roaring loudly as he swiped at them, and started to rip into his targets flesh.

โ2 months have passed since the brutal attack on the people of Eoana, and while peaceful airs ruled over the park, there were still marks on violence on certain areas. The expressions of those around revealed some form of deep hurt, thinking about those who there lost their lives, gruesome ways to die not missing. Now, after arriving with calm and patient steps, on one of the benchs, was sitting Kuromori, covering himself with the usual thick jacket and pondering over life. It was a sad place now, that park, but the beauty of it managed to survive well. The trees recovered, the grass with fewer signs of destruction, the breeze was soft and chilly, as the snow few gently over the entire kingdom. Truly, the most dreadful of weathers not only to himself, the crocodilian fishmonger, but also to the one who reigned over his emotions, especially after these 2 months, when one revealed the feelings to the other. Amidst the pain, this was the one true joy he had. Of course, besides the union of his brother with Leo.
Related to the matter of Harp, the male was there waiting for her, as they had decided to meet at the Park and then head out to the cemetery. Going alone would be tough on the mind and on the soul, as the sadness would be overwhelming even to one like him, a person that barely interacted with anyone due to his own nature. To be with a signifcant other, one so similar to himself, was a marvelous support to handle it all, especially if the location was crowded in respect to all the lives lost, a Mass Memorial held just for that goal. Tragically beautiful, that was the scene running through the darkened man's mind, but mostly tragic, his hope was that maybe Harp would not be too impacted by the emotions on that somber atmosphere.โ

โTime had passed considerably and his significant other had apparently lost the track of things with an unknown ordeal. Much like herself, Kuro was also a businessman and had a lot to deal with when running his shop, on trying times such as these especially, when movement was low and the city presented events of great importance. Yet, despite knowing how important the memorial event was, the sheer vitality it carried in the memory of those lost to the minds of those still resisting in this mortal plain, the fishmonger was not capable of dealing with the weight of it all without the presence of Harp at his side, giving support and the necessary warmth, physical and emotional.
Going against some of the human instincts telling his soul to actually go to the cemetery, the male's hands rose up to his face, brushing fingers along the shape of his mouth piece before the palms rested the full face. With a sigh, low growl in sound, the crocodilian took a few moments to recollect himself before placing both hands on his knees. Those singular eyes shifted to the sky, the tender chill bothering him but simultaneously offering this sort of odd peace. For a few seconds, Kuro stared, lost in thought, before reaching somewhere around the one minute mark and looking down, getting up from his seat on the same movement. Dusting off the snow from his shoulders and shaking the rest of the thick jacket to remove all the white material lingering, the somber one began to make his path to exit the park, deciding to head home instead, to keep himself firm, comfortable, rest in his own way. {{exit}}โ

Patrick Lockheart ~ Marketplace - Square Park ~ It had felt so long since he'd done it, that Patrick had to admit he was a little nervous... Eager to get some long-awaited practice in, the Diviner had gotten up early, breathing in the cool air which drifted in through the window as he gathered a few things together, stuffing them all into his backpack before calling Branwen to his side. The Raven was always up for going out - unless it was wet - but today was such a fine day there was no point wasting it.
Making his way down through the marketplace, Patrick had purchased a few rolls, some meat scraps and a water-pouch of something that tasted almost citrusy, adding them all to his backpack before turning his attention towards Square Park. It seemed like the best place to try - few people around and any who would pass him by would think he were merely dosing off beneath the shade of a tree...
Once he'd arrived, the Diviner spent a few minutes just wandering around in the calm, enjoying the colours of the fresh blooms that were pushing their way up through the grass, taking a moment to investigate the monument that stood in the centre, and then crossing the grass towards one of the trees where he set his backpack down and turned towards the Raven as she came into land.
"Don't go too far this time Bran, I wouldn't want a repeat of the last time we did this..." It had obviously taken him a great amount of thought to even consider flying with the bird again, but without practice, he wouldn't be able to get a handle on it...right?
"Around Market, then back." the Bird cawed, taking a moment to stretch her feathers before hopping across the grass as the male sat down. From here, she would watch as he got settled, lightly crossing his arms at the wrists before inviting the bird to hop up with a nod of the head. At his signal, she would take a momentary perch upon her companion's knees, watching as he closed his eyes and relaxed his body, then, as she heard his breath soften, feeling his consciousness link up with hers, she gave a caw and took to the air...

Patrick Lockheart ~ Marketplace - Square Park ~ After an additional circling of the park, Branwen would finally come into land, perching in the branches above the Diviner for a moment, staring down at the male in his unconscious state before fluttering down so that she came to land neatly in his lap.
Breaking the link and returning to reality would be like waking from a dream... Opening his eyes, Patrick would let out a yawn, stretching out his relaxed muscles before casting a sleepy glance around his darkening surroundings... "You had better hope he's packed up and gone home by the time we get there..." his eyes narrowing some, the Diviner would watch as Branwen hopped down onto the grass, turning round to face him before ruffling up her feathers as the air started to cool around them.
"Deserved it." With nary a care in regards to what she'd done, Branwen would casually begin to preen her fluffed up feathers before bouncing back a few paces as Patrick gathered up his things before shouldered his backpack,
"I'm not convinced..." Turning to leave, the Diviner would hold out his right hand, giving it a subtle twist in invitation to follow before setting his sights on the gates as Branwen took to the air. Without needing to gain much height, the Raven would soar in to land upon the male's shoulder, once again ruffling up her feathers before turning her gaze to focus on whatever they would pass on their way back towards the Academy.
