The academy's gardens, overseen by the groundskeeper and the Botany professor, are tended to all year round, especially in the spring when the blooms look magnificent. Containing more local plants as well as those suited to the island's climate than the plants in the greenhouse, the gardens are open to anyone who wishes to enjoy them.

Jace had spent the better part of the day prior going through all the paperwork and monotony of finalizing his acceptance into the academy for the new year (after a long and harrowing journey through the streets of the city to reach the academy itself). His parents, it seemed, had wasted no time in sending him. 'They could've at least waited till the semester had started.' He glumly thought to himself, knowing now more so than before how much they wanted him out of the house and here. He sighed as he walked his way through the academy, being given temporary quarters for now until a more permanent room could be assigned to him. He had absolutely nothing to do here since it was the summer break for everyone else. He knew no one so far, had no forced socialization that was a part of class... 'Which can be a blessing or a curse depending on who I am forced to be with.' He silently added in his mind. He could try to seek others out, but many people seemed to be everywhere but here for the most part. And so he had found himself walking aimlessly through the school, knowing not where he was going for the most part, but feeling restless. He did not want to be cooped up in his room till school began anew. 'There has to be something I can do around here...' He thought, keeping vigilant as he walked through the area.

It was then, sparing a passing glance through a window, he stopped in his tracks. His eyes focused on the window, he would walk closer to it so that he may better peer outside, to ensure that what he was seeing was not a trick of how fast his gaze had been cast on the spot. Outside, there was this large and beautiful garden. He could not see all of it, as he was ground level with some of the plants blocking the view of the interior, but it had a hint of mystery intermixed with the beauty of it. "If adventure won't come to me, I suppose i'll have to go to it.' He said aloud, not being particularly quiet as there was no one around anyway. With a new destination, he would quickly look for the nearest door out of the main building...embarrassingly taking a whole ten minutes of him going through the halls to find the exit. And another fifteen minutes to find his way back to the garden. Thankfully no one seemed to be around to notice all this, as far as he knew.

Jace would very quickly enter the gardens, going past the few grounds keepers he could see to get as close to the center as he could. While all of it was certainly pretty, he wanted to have the feeling of adventure while also taking in the scenery. As such, he reasoned if he started from the middle everything would seem so knew. He could also imagine it as him escaping a vast jungle back to civilization. After a few minutes, believing he was well out of sight of everyone by now and not entirely sure how he even got to where he currently was, he felt satisfied and stopped. Moving in a slow circle, he took in all the fauna and such around him, silently marveling at it all. While he had been looking for people before, he found this a perfectly suitable distraction. He set off in a random direction, not being the one he originally came in from, and traversed it for as long as he could. His mind currently occupied with all the new types of plants he had yet to see. Introversion was something he could do later.

Jace had spent the rest of the day exploring the gardens, not having any other pressing matters to attend to and content to just have time where he could forget everything. For a time at least. Exploring the plants, both new and old, in relative isolation was refreshing for him for it did not impose the feeling of loneliness than if he were just exploring the halls of the academy. He had run into the odd ground keeper every now and then, but after having a relative idea where they all were, he did well in avoiding them to keep his immersion. It was something he and his sister used to do when they were younger, going out into the marsh to explore and forgetting about their future in a noble family. It had been a nice escape then, and though her lack of presence did dim the usual simple joy from this, Jace found some peace from it nonetheless, pretending this to be a new adventure. And for the most part it was, as so many of the plants were unfamiliar to him with only a few being in common. His homes plant life, nay the very weather, seemed to vary from here. Not significantly for a person, but to plants that is what sometimes mattered the most.

However, this was not to last. As stimulating as it could be to just submit to your imagination, you could not completely suppress reality. During one of his "ventures" he found himself secluded in what he had learned to be the relative center of the garden, tall plants on all sides to obscure his view of the outside world and far enough away that voices would be indistinguishable for the most part. In this relative isolation his mind returned to his current fate. "Excel or exile." He said softly to himself as he sat down, back leaning against one of the larger and sturdier plants. He had to do well here in order to return home, if not he remain stuck on this island for the foreseeable future. He still couldn't believe they would go this far. He knew he was different from his siblings, most of them were celebrars, but it was hardly his fault if a distant relative was the cause of this. If he had a choice he would've been a celebrar. His forked tongue slipped through briefly to his irritation, the only times he ever lost control of it to reveal one of his shifter features. His eyes were another giveaway, but that could more easily be passed off than his tongue. He wished he was born a celebrar and could still be home, as stifling as home was, than this exile. He had done all he could to hide and control his powers when young, but it hadn't seemed to be enough.

He remained with these thoughts till the sun began to set, slowly changing the area from day to night as shadows spread and cast about the area. He yawned, hand covering his mouth to hide it as he was accustomed to given his tongue, before he would slowly rise up to his feet. He needed to head back to his temporary accommodations and rest for the following morning. Though classes had yet to start, his old habits of his life were still well in effect. "Rise early, so that you may know more than your enemies. Rise early, so that you may be the one who dictates the pace. Rise early, so that you may be the predator and all others your prey." He repeated silently in his mind, an old mantra his father had told him when he was younger. His way of explaining to him why he had to rise early and retire early in the evening. It was a ruthless and predatory thing, his intent had been to use it for all others of his families social circle, but there was wisdom in it. Even as an exile Jace would abide by it. And so he would slowly leave the gardens, heading to his temporary accommodations and retiring for the night.

What could he say? The location was beautiful. The flowers seemed to have appreciated the light sprinkling of rain and with the soft breeze and patchy shade from the clouds that passed overhead, he felt quite at peace... Well, as peaceful as someone who had recently chased down a guard and pinned him long enough to allow his Guardian to catch up and strike him unconscious...

He was grateful at least to have had the hindsight to purchase a similar jacket to the one he wore that night... Blood wasn't so easy to get off clothing and having physically held the man down - something that was far out of character for someone who 'didn't touch' - Tala had needed to relinquish the clothing in order to be able to dispose of it properly...

Trying to put the night behind him, the Shadowmancer would lift his gaze to the sky, watching the sparse clouds pass overhead, blocking the sun occasionally to offer a fleeting respite from the heat of the sun.

With no lessons to attend, Tala knew he had as long as he wanted to traverse the gardens, to lose himself for a few hours at least, but he wasn't technically alone - occasionally the groundskeeper would make themselves known, appearing at certain points around the gardens or wandering by with the occasional nod in acknowledgement of Tala's presence. The thought did cross his mind that the guy was busy - flitting from bed to boarder just doing his daily chores - but if he allowed his imagination time to play with the thought, he might just have felt the guy was following him...

Eventually, the humidity became a little much and Tala would sit down beneath the shade of one of the trees, taking a sip of water from a pouch he held on his belt before drawing up a knee and just watching the vibrantly-coloured expanse around him.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. There was no telling at what point the Shadowmancer had dozed off... With his back snugly set in the grooves of the tree's lower trunk, whilst his arms folded around his backpack upon which he had come to rest his head, Tala's eyes must have closed in reaction to a mixture of late nights and early mornings... With the setting so calm and peaceful, the warm temperature must have just sent him off...

It was a light thump against his right foot that had drawn him from his erratic dreams and Tala opened a weary, yet narrowed eye before letting out a yawn and stretching as his vision took in the light from a lantern which hovered just a few feet away from him.

"Don't you have a bed to get to?" the groundskeeper's voice was rough as though it wasn't used very often and he used the handle of his rake to nudge the youth's foot again before letting out a grumble as Tala drew his foot away with a growl, "Can't sleep here." he watched as the youth rose to his feet, dusting himself off before picking up his backpack. "No idea what lurks out here after dark."

"I'm not afraid of the dark." Tala muttered, shouldering his bag and starting to walk away,

"...You should be, Lad." it sounded as though the man had seen some things in his time, but the Shadowmancer paid him little attention, feeling he himself had witnessed things much worse in the dark than the groundskeeper could ever imagine...Still, who knew what resided in the Gardens after dusk? He'd learnt that even Eoana's Forest was worth keeping your wits about you...

Tala rolled his eyes at that thought as he started at a relaxed pace towards the Academy - What was worse than a stray guard under the influence of the Full Moon anyway? ...Well, there was Baba of course...and the Elder, the newly revitalized man who had spoken to them at the City Hall... but the Shadowmancer didn't really want to think about him.

As he turned the final corner by the gates, Tala would cast a glance over his shoulder, watching as the flickering orb that was the lamp still hung beside the tree where the groundskeeper seemed determined to watch him until he was out of sight... If anything was worth being wary about, it was that guy... Still, he had things to do and as before, there was no telling when he would be summoned next...

Jace would arrive a bit early to the meeting area, as was his usual intent with things. When there was no forces working against him, he would always strive to arrive early to his engagements. To his parents, it went with the saying of the early bird gets the word. For him, it was only the polite and proper thing to do. It showed that he valued the other person spending time with him and acknowledged that he respected them. It also just felt right to him. So he would arrive ahead of schedule into the beautiful gardens, again taking the time to enjoy the scenery of it. He had not been here in quite some time. Many things had occurred since he last visited, and he spent most days buried in study. He was trying his hardest to achieve the task his family had given to him, even if not for the same reason it was once for. He had found himself... enjoying his time here, winter being the exception, despite his initial desire to just leave as soon as possible. He was no longer quite as ashamed about his abilities as he once was either. He had... grown to accept it in a way, though still failed to shift into an anaconda. He honestly failed to be able to imagine himself as such, even with all his training and developments in partial shifting. Even with seeing other classmates shift seamlessly from man to beast... well he primarily had female classmates, but the word worked nonetheless. Jace would settle on a nice patch of grass in the shade of the plants around them. While he liked the sun and bathing in it, he preferred the cool of the shade for now. He could always move later if he so desired. Once settled there, he would remove his satchel and place it beside him as Ophelia and Hamlet popped their heads out. Smiling softly, he would let them move along him and explore a bit of the nature around him. He closed his eyes and just enjoyed the peace of everything.

((Thanya enters the Gardens ))

While walking through the academy Thanya would catch a whiff of a familiar scent. With a grin she decided to track it down. Shifting to binturong form, where her nose was more sensitive, she began her hunt.

Her journey eventually led to the gardens, a place she had visited several times, though usually at night to feast upon the few fruiting trees that were planted here. It was here that she found her quarry. Siting in the grass was Jace, one of her fellow classmates who was also mentoring her on how to shift into a second form. Progress had been slow but it was still fun to having something to strive at. Trying to learn to shift into a snake was unlike anything she had ever done before. If a Binturong could grin mischievously she would be doing it right now.

Deciding to approach her classmate she would creep stealthily up to him through the bushes before shifting back to her human form and greeting him loudly. "Hey there Jace! What are you doing out in in the gardens? There's a nice fruit tree near here if you are interested!"

~ Entering Conservatory Gardens ~

User Image User Image How she had so much energy was beyond the Shadowmancer, but even though Fea would run off, rarely would she dip out of view - and if she did, Tala would always turn the corner to find her sitting there, ears focused and listening for him to catch up. Sure, he could have run with her, but there were too many people to see and so he kept his pace casual - at least until he found his way into the Gardens.

Having spent several visits here with nobody but the groundskeeper for company, the Elementor felt this place was definitely one of those where he could let his guard down a little and relax without fear of anyone passing comment. As he entered the gardens, his eyes glanced around - he'd arranged to meet Jace and couldn't help but wonder if the Shifter had already arrived? With a fair way still to walk, he took a moment to challenge Fea to a little playtime, first, lightly poking the Wolf in the thigh, then giving her a light shove before making a break for it. Letting out a Yip of glee, the Wolf would rise up on her hind legs and charge after him.

Tala knew he had no chance of beating Fea in a foot race and he would grind to a halt as the Wolf suddenly shot past him, watching as she circled round before initiating a play-bow with her front paws wide out infront of her and long tail swishing high in the air... "Ready...?" his eyes showed a spark of something rarely witnessed by anyone but his companion and as he leant forward in a sort of challenge, arms raised slightly at his sides - as though ready to charge - she would flinch excitedly, reacting to the Elementor's jolted 'fake lunges' before spinning round and darting away as he started towards her.

The pair would enjoy several minutes of racing around - with the Wolf occasionally jumping up at him in mock attacks from either side before something suddenly stalled their play. Noting Fea's immediate change of interest, Tala's mental barriers would raise and his stoic features would return as the Shadowmancer took a moment to catch his breath and find somewhere covered to crouch.

Her ears had swiveled towards the sound of voices and her body would slow to that of one stalking their prey... Sticking by Tala's side, Fea would lift her gaze towards her Pack Brother as he followed the sound of talking towards a pair just a few metres away. He immediately recognised his Shifter Comrade whom he had arranged to meet, but the smaller female, although he'd seen her around a few times, her name escaped him... "Let's give them a minute..." having not expected to see anyone else there, Tala held the palm of his hand out flat towards the Wolf, advising her through silent command to stay before raising said hand to his lips in a 'silent' motion.

Fea had been learning the Shadowmancer's quiet commands all her life and sat down at his heel, her gaze now turning towards the pair as she listened to their conversation...

Jace had been at peace while waiting in the garden for Tala's arrival. It was on school grounds and when he had entered he had not truly noticed anyone else. As such, his guard had been let down as he was just relaxing with eyes closed there. Allowing the serene calm of nature around him to settle in. He had missed this. It was not like his home, where only the marsh was a safe haven. It was not the cleanliest of places, but when dressed appropriately he did not mind such things. He actually rather enjoyed how uncivilized such a place could be as a contrast to the sterile cleanliness of his house. It was strange to think there were other places that evoked the same feeling, that were not half as filthy as a marsh. But this was one such place in his mind; a place he could retreat to for peace and to mostly forget the troubles of life. That was his mind set... until he was given a rather unpleasant shock. Lost in his own world, Thanya's rather loud greeting... startled the shifter, to say the least. His eyes would shoot open in surprise and become more snake like, and his forked tongue would slip out in a surprised hiss. His heat was beating so fast it almost felt like it would escape his chest cavity, and he even stopped breathing momentarily. He scrambled to move away from the sudden disturbance as his mind was in a panic... before slowly calming as he recognized the voice. 'That was... unpleasant.' He thought to himself his gaze would turn to her, eyes as slits with a not so amused expression on his face. Normally it would be hidden away but... her surprise had temporarily broken that. "Greetings Miss Kamsing. Besides nearly having a heart attack, I was merely awaiting the arrival of a friend of mine who should be here soon. I shall decline the fruit for now, thank you." He would respond in formal wording as was usual, though his voice did convey his slight annoyance as to what occurred. He had felt safe and secure until that event, and while it was something he would get over later, it would still take some time. Taking a moment to breathe deeply and calm his heart, would speak again but in a more neutral tone. "What brings you here, if I may inquire?" He would ask, seeing as it was only fair after her own question. His mind was racing slightly though in terms of revenge. Nothing so serious as an eye for an eye, but he was never one to forget nor let others receive no retaliation. He just knew he would have to wait for the appropriate time.

Thanya would gasp at Jace's sudden shift in his face as he hiss at her but her sudden surprise would quickly give away to laughter. "Oh wow! I finally did it! I got to see you without your mask, the real Jace! That sure was surprising!" As Jace expressed his annoyance she would laugh only louder. "And emotion! I'm getting some emotion! There's emotion in that voice!" Thanya would finally quell her laughter as she wiped a tear away from her eye. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you, or laugh at you, its just... it just kind of made me happy to finally get to see a bit of the real you." Thanya's face would suddenly turn a bit rosy as she looked away embarrassed.

Keeping her face hidden, Thanya continued to speak. Her long prehensile tail swished from side to side as it looked for something to grasp. "W-well what I mean is, all this time we have been training together, the progress we've made shifting into a serpent, it feels like I'm taking lessons from the other side of a fence. I mean, it's like you are there, but I'm getting you through a filter. Argh! I don't know if I'm expressing this right. I'm not all fancy with words like you are, but, for someone who wears her heart on her sleeve, I always found it odd how you hide yourself away. And I guess, you know, I just wanted to get to know who that person was. The Jace behind the mask... the real you."

Thanya would look back at Jace. Her face was still flushed red but she had a large smile spread across it. "Hehe, well I said a bunch of silly things, didn't I? But it had been weighing on me for a while so I'm glad to have gotten it out. So... you said you are waiting for a friend? Do I know 'em?"

As Thanya finished her sentence her sniffer caught whiff of a strangely familiar scent. One she had not smelt since her first day to the academy. She never did figure out its source and she could feel her curiosity growing. However, she resisted the urge to track it down for now.

Fea's eyes never left the small female as the pair 'listened' in on their conversation, well, we say listened, Tala's hearing wasn't as finely tuned as the young Wolf's, but as she heard what was said between them, Fea couldn't help but feel that the shorter individual seemed perhaps nervous? Tilting her head, the Wolf would lean forward out of her sitting position, making it look like a sort of stretch with a long yawn before turning round and slinking behind her Pack Brother who continued to watch, focused on the pair as he now remembered how he had 'hid' from her in the shadows the first time their paths had crossed...

Keeping an ear flicked back to listen for the moment Tala realised she wasn't beside him, Fea would stalk around the outside of the pair - using the bushes to hide her from view whilst pausing occasionally to ensure her scent remained downwind and undetectable... It was only as she felt that she had come close enough to her destination that she sunk low to the ground to wait...

It was about this time that the Shadowmancer had finally cast a glance down to his left where he'd been certain the Wolf would be found lying down on the ground beside him... "Why am I not surprised?" he frowned, shaking his head before looking around him and then back towards the pair who were still talking... If he called out to her now - even in a hushed whisper - then they'd be detected for sure, so stifling a sigh, he would resume his position of observation, ready to step in if the Wolf made a bad move...

"Just a little closer..." Crawling on her belly now, Fea would drag herself within range of the tree against which Jace had seated himself before gently pushing her nose beneath his elbow. Her intention wasn't necessarily to scare him, but to announce her arrival in a more subtler way...?

Thanya's laughter was not helping with Jace's annoyance at what had just transpired. While normally he may have taken it in better stride, this was not the normal circumstance. She would then mention seeing him without his mask, which only furthered his now masked annoyance. 'I cannot believe I let that slip.' He silently thought to himself. It was something he practiced for a reason to have when needed. While he would at times willingly lower it, this would not have been such a case. He had even lowered it around her at times, though it seems she had been unaware of it. 'Why is it that everyone assumes I am distant?' The thought popped unbidden in his mind. It had also occurred with Miss Nora because of his diction and the way he spoke. He assumed they would have been able to notice the change, but he supposed he was trained enough that perhaps it was not as noticeable for them as it was for him. She would then continue pointing out his emotion and saying she saw the real him while laughing and then wiping a tear from her eye. 'Why does she assume she had not seen the real me? I have acted as my nature thus far.' He thought to himself. He did not see why all this was coming now in his mind. He had rarely if ever hidden his emotions entirely from her, he just expressed them in a far smaller capacity than most people. She and Nora, along with Tala, were the few that saw that small amount. He had not been dishonest with them thus far.

He briefly saw a bit of red on her face before it was turned away, as he was left more so confused now. 'What spurred all this?' He wondered now, and then also realized most of his companions knew not the existence of the others. So that discluded the possibility of a conspiracy and left him as the constant factor. She kept her face hidden but he noticed her tail moving about as a slightly evil thought popped into his mind. 'I wonder if its motion may attract a predator.' He silently mused for a moment, wondering too if his snake would take that bait. He had lost track of it in his time here along with the sudden disturbance. She would then speak about him hiding himself away in his interactions with her, which was not something he himself thought he did for the most part. At least by his definition of expressing emotion. "I apologize if you received that impression, but it is not the case. Perhaps I may have adopted a constructive nature and tone during lessons but that was due to trying to instruct you. I have not striven to hide anything from you in terms of my emotions, it is just my nature to show little." He would say in his more usual neutral tone as he would seem sincere. The only emotions he ever fully masked were the negative ones, and until now it was rare to none when he felt such things in her presence. He hoped it would be a suitable enough reassurance to her.

Seeing her face come back to him flush red with a smile, he wondered why it was like that. 'A remnant from all her laughter?' He wondered to himself. He did not have context to guess it would be anything else, if it was. He merely shook his head when she said it was silly before asking about who he was waiting on. He would look to her calmly before responding. "I see. I am glad you alerted me at least of this, as it was not my intention to cause you to think as such. But I would have preferred you let me know about your concerns, for I could not account for something I am unaware of. And i am unaware if you know of my companion. His name is Tala." He would respond, expressing his own voice on the matter and mentioning the name of his friend. It was then that he would, as if on cue, feel something touch the back of his elbow. Guard already up, he would resist flinching as his head would turn slightly to nonchalantly see the source. As he was met with the nose and muzzle of a familiar creature. 'If she is here, he must not be far.' He silently thought to himself. His hand would move back slightly and begin to lightly pet her head as his eyes fully turned to her. "I see you, but where would your master be?" He would ask though he would expect no response. During this time as well, another creature would have been making its own entrance. Having slithered away from Jace a while ago, the snake had detected the presence of two familiar creatures. One had departed before they could reach it, but the other had remained still for a long enough period. Being down wind of the figure, the snakes would move behind him and scale a nearby tree. It had its own entrance in mind for the shadowmancer. Once above him on a branch, its tail would wrap around it as it extended its body down from above... moving down. It would stop just a few feet above him, not being long enough to extend further, and hiss lightly to announce its presence. Not knowing if he had detected them prior or not.

Despite it being much later in the day and the sun had sunk much lower in the sky that Nora had expected, she still wondered through the academy grounds until she found the entrance to the Gardens.

(Entering Gardens)
Nora took a deep breath when she entered the Conservatory Gardens. The air was warm and smelled heavenly with the mix of scents coming from all the blooming flowers. Looking around to see if anyone else with her, she didn't catch sight of anyone, as bushes and trees blocked her view, so she quickly removed her shoes and carried them in her hand as she walked barefoot along the path and onto the grass. The feeling of the grass between her toes and gently brushing against her feet brought a smile to her lips as she was reminded of the small garden her mother had back home. "But it's nothing compared to this." Nora thought as she looked at the flowers with such fondness while she bent down to smell a patch of morning-glories of various colors.

It was during this peaceful silence Nora could faintly hear the sound of voices somewhere in the garden. Standing up all the way now, she searched for where the voices could be coming from. As she continued to explore the garden to find the source of the voices, Nora found a few white morning glories that had fallen onto the ground. "Maybe people walked through this way?" Nora wondered as she picked up a single flower to inspect it. It was still in good shape and looked rather healthy. "It would be a shame to waste them..." Nora thought as she tucked the flowers into her hair, one behind her ear and the rest elsewhere in her hair.

When she heard the voices again, they sounded much louder and clearer this time. She looked towards the direction of the voices, and her eyes caught sight of a head of blonde hair not too far from where Nora assumed the voices were coming from. She couldn't tell who it was, so Nora quietly crept through the grass until she recognized that it was Tala. He seemed focused on something, she assumed enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of the garden, so that might explain why he hadn't turned to acknowledge her. "Maybe he hasn't noticed me yet?" Nora thought as she crept closer to the Elementor. "Hey-" Nora began to whisper until she looked above him to see a two-headed snake looming over Tala's head. "Look out!" She quickly grabbed Tala's arm and pulled him back from the snake, simultaneously creating an orb of water large enough to contain the snake, at least that's what Nora hoped.

Pleased that she had been petted rather than scolded for sneaking up on him, Fea would allow her ears to flop back as she closed her eyes, lifting her muzzle slightly as Jace's fingers began to gently brush through the fur on her head - he had always been so gentle with her and as he asked where her Master might just be, an ear would flick out and her Blue eyes would turn to glance across the garden towards the bushes where Tala had taken refuge to observe them from afar.

It wasn't like the Elementor to let his guard down, but having grown used to Fea picking up on most other presences long before he could - and of course her having left his side at that perfect moment in time, Tala had allowed his attention to focus more on what was ahead of him, rather than on his direct surroundings... It hadn't surprised the male that the Wolf had managed to sneak around the back of the pair practically undetected, he hadn't seen her nudge against Jace's elbow, but had seen his reaction and at this, the Shadowmancer's expression had softened, albeit only for a moment.

It was hard to tell exactly what had happened - he'd perhaps exhaled a contented sigh and prepared himself mentally to advance and finally give his name to the little Shifter when someone had shouted - The sudden grip to his arm had startled him and as he was tugged aside, Tala had let out a yelp, pulling in the opposite direction with such a force that he lost balance and stumbled backwards, landing with a thud on the ground beneath what would appear to be a large orb of water... What was going on?!

At the sound of her Pack Brother's startled yell, Fea's ears had snapped upwards and without thinking, she'd leapt past Jace and Thanya, making a beeline towards the bushes behind which they had first hidden before lunging into view and standing - hackles raised - between Tala and Nora.

Thankfully it took the Shadowmancer only seconds to realise that his fellow Elementor must have had a reason to pull him away, but as Fea burst through the bushes and now stood - perhaps ready to attack? He knew that whatever the reason, he needed to stop before anyone got hurt.

Sitting upright, Tala would hold out a hand and let out a sharp "Uff!" Stopping the Wolf from jumping to conclusions before looking towards the other Elementor, "Nora?" he hadn't expected to see her there, but then lifted his eyes back towards the orb, "What's going on?!"

Thanya's tail would finally settle and her face lose the rosy blush coloring her tanned features. "Well, cool. I'm glad we had this talk then. For some reason it was making me feel nervous to tell you all that. So you said your friend's name is Tala? You're right, I don't know him. Well, I should probably be on my way then, I don't want to intru--" Thanya suddenly noticed the dog nuzzling Jace. She was surprised it got this close without her noticing--normally she'd spot a creature approaching right away. It had that strange scent upon it... And yet she could tell that it definitely was not the source of it. Her hand came out automatically, but she stopped herself. It wouldn't do to not ask permission. "Oh, is this...Tala?" she would ask. "He looks so cute! Can I pet him?"

Before Jace had a chance to answer Thanya hears the shout of a woman's voice followed by a man's. The dog then bolted in the direction of the voices. Still wanting to pet it, Thanya would follow after it shouting "Hey, wait!" She followed it around some foliage, trying to keep it within her view, but suddenly a new sight met her eyes. She finally saw what the source of the commotion was. It was nothing she could have ever expected. There was a man and a woman she had never seen before--and for some bizarre reason a two headed snake encased in a globe of floating water! As the wolf ran to the blond boy's side, Thanya would exclaim. "Oh, wow! What's going on?"
