The stables are maintained by the groundskeeper with the help of stablehands who are always present. Housing a few horses and a couple of wagons, the stables host riding classes during the fall and serve as transport for the faculty and staff when in need. Students are free to use the horses when they wished, including for leisure so long as they obtain the keys from the groundskeeper or stablehand, are proficient in riding and treat the horses well. The stables lead into the riding paths that are most commonly used although it is not unheard of for people to veer off the paths so long as they are careful. Misbehaviour and carelessness may lead to the suspension of a student's riding privileges.
