Camilla definitely thought this was more than a coincidence. His father, her father and more of their family members were coming to Eoana? Something didn't seem right. But she didn't want to dwell on it while they were on their date. So she ignored it for now. She listened as Kayl did his best to answer her questions. She was glad he was doing well. But it seemed he didn't really have a plan in place. Typical Kayl. Camilla smiled and shook her head. She could tell he was enjoying himself already. She was excited to hear about the smithy being almost done. She really wanted a pair of combat gauntlets to go with her raiment. Camilla was a hand to hand combat expert, so having a weapon that enhanced that was important to her. Hearing his suggestions on what to do about getting to town made her smile widely. He knew her pretty well. With her hands behind her back, she watched Kayl smiling at her. " Well Kayl, I think horses would be really fun. But it's a good distance to the stables on foot. " Camilla said her tone airy and excited.

Without much of a warning, Camilla took off at a full sprint while shouting over her shoulder." Race you there!! " Camilla would run at full speed laughing while she did. She would occasionally look back and see Kayl already taking off after her. Camilla would face forward once more as she ran dodging trees and bushes as they raced through the grounds. The wind in her hair and against her face was a feeling she would always love. But racing with Kayl, this was something she loved even more. Her heart pounded as she raced towards the stables. She knew Kayl would catch up eventually, he was just faster than her. But she had planned to use her raiment if he started to pass her. She didn't think she'd do as well on the horses so she had to get one win in before then. Though she was trained to ride horses, she didn't do it often. So her confidence as a rider was not as strong as her confidence in her raiment.

Kayl nodded lightly at Camilla's answer, figuring she would enjoy a brisk ride rather then being in the cage like carraige. What he didn't expect was for her to suddenly dart off while yelling out over her shoulder. "Ho?" He would let out as she darted forward, a cross and somewhat joking judging expression on his face. Just a second later, and his smug expression would change to more serious as his eyes narrowed and he seemingly became more focused. Kayl would dart off after her at an incredible speed, leaving a literally burst of dust behind him.

As they charged through the grounds, Kayl would note the areas where Camilla slowed to be able to make a curve, and this was where he used his incredible agility to catch up slowly, often using trees, stones, walls, or any other firm barrier that he could he would jump forward, flipping in mid-air before kicking completely off the barrier to make the curve without having to slow down. almost as if he was completely bouncing off of them, and almost appearing to pick up in speed with each turn. Soon he was neck and neck with her, and his determination and incredible focus could be seen on his face. It was at this point that he turned to look at her, running with all her might, and he smirked. As if he had been holding back, suddenly he picked up the pace even faster, and started to leave her completely in the dust. At this point it couldn't be entirely proven that he was human, as his arms and body seemed to blur in motion as he ran ahead.

Camilla had been laughing as she sprinted through the grounds. But in no time at all Kayl had caught up to her and was now surpassing her. Grinning as she gritted her teeth together Camilla prepared to take off. Releasing as little of her raiment as she could Camilla slammed her right foot into the ground and burst forth destroying part of the ground behind her. Looking back as she leaped through the air she looked mildly concerned. ' Oops...' She would think as she soared past Kayl. As she hit the ground Camilla would push off again causing another explosion of energy to erupt from under her feet as she flew forward once more. The stables were now in sight as she hit the ground and continued running. Releasing her raiment Camilla ran with all her might. She knew Kayl wouldn't be far behind but she was determined to at least this leg of the race.

In no time at all, she was sliding to a stop at the stables and cheering loudly. Turning to see Kayl right behind her. Laughing loudly she jumped around her hair bouncing as she jumped up in down in a small circle. Once she had come all the way around and was staring at Kayl once more she bent over and put her hands on her knees. Taking a deep breath she spoke. " Haha! I won! You're so damn fast Kayl! It's not fair! " Camilla said trying to catch her breath. He was truly amazing. Camilla was fast but she was not even close to that fast. It was almost inhuman. The only way she could have possibly kept up was with her Raiment. which she was sure would get her in trouble if anyone saw her blowing holes in the grounds.

Standing up straight she put her hands on her hips and smiled at Kayl. Her chest rising and falling a bit slower now. " So! Now that I'm the winner, I get to decide what we do for lunch. Unless! You beat me in the horse race. " Camilla said sure of herself. " If you beat me I will do any one thing for you. Anything you want, just ask and I'll make it happen. But only for today. " She said with a wink as she clasped her hands behind her back. Sizing Kayl up she smiled and a pink blush crept up through her cheeks. Today was already one of the best days she's had in a while.

It would almost have come as a surprise to just about anyone else in the world when Camilla suddenly shot past him like a blur, but Kayl was almost expecting it and smiled as Camilla went flying past him. Even with his incredible speed, it was hard to catch up with the power bound strength of her raiment. Even so, he tried his hardest to catch up, using the same methods and advantages he could take, and although he managed to come close, at this point it was inevitable. When they reached the stables, Kayl slide to a stop using his blade and one of the stables posts to come to a complete stop and he had to catch his breath as he came up to Camilla. "That..." He said inbetween breaths, "Was something else..."

After catching his breath, he smiled lightly as Camilla called out her victory and laid in what she wanted as her reward. Raising an eyebrow in response to her challenge, Kayl nodded lightly as he waved to the stablemaster. "My horse, meister, and a purebred for the lady," He said while looking back at Camilla with the biggest smirk on his face as if she had spelled out her own doom. "Well, then I guess I'll just have to win then," Kayl would say to challenge, and soon the stablemaster returned with two beautiful horses. One was a mixed white and grey, with beautiful mixed blotches scattered throughout, a long white mane with an ornate saddle in place. The other, was a dark black horse with white blotches on the nose and on curiously pleasant places aesthetically on its shoulders. The saddle was a little bit like Kayl's armor and scabbard, and Kayl walked up to the horse and patted its nose lightly before looking back at Camilla with a smile. Stepping over to her, he held his hand up, being the gentleman that he was, to help her mount her horse. Then he would take a few quick steps and leap up into his horse before looking back at Camilla, still wearing a smile. "Are you ready?"

Camilla stood and watched as the stable masters brought out a pair of beautiful horses. The white and gray one was hers as she imagined the black one would be Kayl's. The saddle was a giveaway. Smiling at him she made her way over to the horse and took his hand when he offered to help her onto it. Getting up on her horse she patted it's neck gently, loving on the horse. As Kayl hopped on to his own horse she smiled seeing the look on his face. Narrowing her eyes she had to wonder what he was thinking. He seemed awfully hungry for that win all of a sudden. But she knew with that kind of motivation, anyone would be. So she wouldn't think any more of it. When Kayl asked if she was ready she would smile widely. " So, we race to the Blacksmiths place? Unless...you're afraid to race through town... " She said her tone teasing. She knew Kayl would go along with her whim.

When he acknowledged her the two would take off. Whipping the reigns she would shout making the horse dart forward. The horse would begin galloping hard making a mad dash for the town gates. Not looking back Camilla knew Kayl wouldn't be far behind. She had to get as much ground as she could before then. Because this time she wasn't gonna be able to use her raiment to pull out the victory. The horse's hooves pounded the grass and dirt as it raced through the grounds and towards the academy gates. Camilla was not as confident in her riding as she was in her own strength. So whenever she had to maneuver the horse around a corner or through trees over jump over a rock or bush she would have to slow down. After all, this was not her horse, and she was not as good a rider as she probably should have been. Her father would surely scold her over that if he ever found out.
