Overlooking the academy's gardens, the terrace is open to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the scenery, and enjoy the fresh air of they don't want to enter the grounds.

((Entering to new day)) Still the same old days as usual. Nanashi was pretty used to the way things would go, but every time it just felt as if something was missing. Of course, there were plenty missing from Nanashi's life. One of which, he knew he needed to resolve family problems with Raidou and his teacher Genma. Another was the fact that he needed to track down the leader of the bandit group, and bring him to justice himself for closure. Either way, with all those thoughts always swimming through his head, he always wondered why things were they way they've been. Why did he come to this school under Genma's orders? How long must he stay until he learns the true purpose of his powers? And what will he do after? Some had told him that a path for vengeance is always that of a dark and destructive path, leading one to become the enemy those set to destroy. Nanashi wondered if he hadn't become that very monster already. Each day he'd imagine ways of killing that evil man, for everything he's done. But like what happened to the time with his roommate Patrick, Nanashi had gotten closure, and swore to denounce his thirst for revenge.

Nanashi would look out onto the balcony as he would feel the wind caress through his face. That was his only way to think. Being high up in the sky, where the world was limitless was his only escape from this all. His only form of solace. And among it all, was his friends faces. This was where everything made sense to him. Nanashi would then close his eyes, as he would pull his sketch book and pencil from his bag. Just looking at the open sky above the terrace where under them was a garden was enough for Nanashi to have a clear drawing in mind. Art was always a way for Nanashi to come with his PTSD from back then, as it would relax his nerves. But as he would sketch and draw, a deep seeded reminder had came back at full force when he didn't want to. The thought of her blood and The blade that would pierce through her chest as Nanashi helplessly watched was still there. The last words being "Nanashi..... Please...." Right before he would remember the look as her eyes would go dark and lifeless. Just the sheer memory of it all made Nanashi snap before waking up after hearing the crack of his own pencil snapped in half. Huh? Aww s**t... Nanashi would mutter to himself.

Having curiously not seen Chen in some time, Patrick found himself with sadly little reason to head outside the Academy walls and so rather than wander down to the Marketplace and risk running into the vendor whom Branwen had aggravated the last time they'd taken a 'Flying-Session' he instead chose to make his way up to the Terrace where one could sit and enjoy the views safely away from most of civilisation...

Having pulled a seemingly playful trick where he had left the White Raven inside his Dorm room underneath a blanket - which he had tossed in her direction after finding her rifling through his things again - Patrick hadn't wanted her to panic and fear she's 'lost him' entirely and so the Diviner had taken to the Terrace in the hopes that once she'd escaped his bedroom through the window he'd left open, Branwen would circle the Academy finding her way back to him...

Believing he'd timed it almost perfectly, it would be almost as soon as his elbows had touched the stone barrier overlooking the gardens below that a reel of curses would fill the air and as he lifted his gaze to the sky, the White Raven would appear, wheeling above him before gliding down to land on the wall a few inches away.

"You found me then?" he would smirk, watching as the Raven turned her head away and let out a snort before scraping her beak against the stonework, "I thought you wanted to play?"

"Dirty Cheat... Was Not Play." Branwen took a moment to preen her feathers before looking down at the gardens, "Get you back perhaps...?"

"I'm sorry my friend, but what's the worst you can do?" There was the obvious answer that would end up with him needing to wash or sow up several of his belongings, but the look in the Raven's beady eyes unsettled him somehow and he quirked an eyebrow, wondering what the impish bird had in mind...

"You'll see." She glanced away for a moment, then without warning, the White Raven suddenly launched herself at her companion - A claw grazed the skin above his left eyebrow as he recoiled whilst her wings lightly graced either side of the Diviner's face - With Contact made, Branwen then twirled away to the air, circling the Terrace as she watched Patrick's body hit the floor with a thud before flitting away above the Gardens.

"BRAN! What are you doing!?" As the White Raven circled the terrace, Patrick would watch his body hit the ground, thankful that he'd not collided with anything on the way down but knowing that the impact with the stone floor was certainly going to smart later... "I didn't agree to this! Bran!" Usually quite content to enjoy the ride when 'flying' with the Raven, the Diviner had always been on the understanding that their Air Time would be of a mutual consensus...Never had she ever forced him into a flight...and if he was honest, Patrick hadn't thought Branwen was capable of such things... "Take me back this Instant!"

Ignoring her companion's demands, the White Raven circled the Terrace once more before setting her sights on the Gardens below - Over the vast array of well-tended blooms she would pass, floating over the winding stone path and bushes where Tala and Fea had bumped into Nora and Thanya the previous evening - Once around the tree where Jace had planned on waiting for the Shadowmancer's arrival only to have the Ghost scared out of him by the Binturong-Shifter's unexpected appearance...

Branwen flew as far as her beady eyes could see, drifting along the edge of the gardens before leaving the safe enclosure that was the Academy perimeter itself... Patrick had no idea where she planned to go, but having already 'flown' with her that week and knowing that to overdo it might just land him back in the Infirmary again, he was understandably concerned..."Branwen, turn back! Please! You're taking this too far!"

Perhaps what unnerved the Diviner most was that the Raven remained silent - no witty remark, no reassurance...she just flew wherever the winds took her...

"Nnngh...Oww..." It had been like waking from a dream... His back flat on the ground, he could see the darkening sky above...as the breeze drifted across the Terrace, he felt its cooling tendrils as they snaked through his hair...and as he blinked his weary eyes, it wouldn't be too hard to notice the dull ache in his head...

Sitting up, a groan would escape his lips and Patrick would lift a hand to clutch the ache before looking around him... "...I did it?" Drawing his hand from the back of his head the Diviner would push himself to his feet, making his way over to the wall and glancing across the gardens below before letting out a light chuckle, "...I did it...!" His voice pleased, yet hushed, Patrick would now turn, wavering slightly and leaning back against the wall for support before seeking out the doorway which would lead him back inside...

His target in his sights, the Diviner would step away from the wall, his balance understandably iffy as he crossed the Terrace, but growing more determined with each new step... Somewhere in the back of his mind, he wondered if she'd noticed their link had been broken? He'd never considered trying something like that before, but then again, there had never been a need until Branwen had taken him hostage that morning...

What felt important now was getting back to his room and closing his window - He'd left it open so the Raven could escape and join him outside that morning, but after what had happened, he wasn't sure he wanted her back - at least not just yet... As one final task - just to make sure she couldn't follow him in, the Diviner would take care to close the door to the Terrace behind him before turning towards his Dorm Room.
