Oisier huffed and puffed as they caught up with Stemma. Even if they were still technically in Civisect, marching across sand dunes was a completely different type of exercise than what they were used to. The picnic basket they were hauling didn't help matters. Planariant kept close, fretting over their charge. It wasn't like they could carry much, though, even if Oisier wanted them to. They didn't want to look that weak in front of anyone, much less Stemma and Reisio.
The view as they crested the last dune immediately rekindle Oisier's enthusiasm. It was the perfect patch of beach--and it was all theirs! At this time of the season, the beach surrounding the boardwalk would be swarmed with tourists and locals alike. Oisier didn't think they'd ever seen a beach so pristine.
"It's..! Beautiful..!" They exclaimed, catching their breath and sliding the rest of the way down the dune. They dropped the picnic basket unceremoniously in the sand and ran, unburdened the rest of the way after Stemma. They'd thankfully been practical enough to wear proper swim shoes that night rather than their usual plated boots. It was odd how light they felt without so many layers. Their swimsuit was one-piece with short sleeves, short shorts, and a square sailor's collar. White with their hue in the trim, of course.
Oisier stopped at Stemma's side and pushed their shades up their nose. It was slippery with the amount of moonscreen their lusii had insisted they apply. "Hmm," Oisier hummed thoughtfully. To be honest, they couldn't remember the last time they set foot on the beach that wasn't for some Bloodfest Event or somesuch. What did people even do at these places when prizes weren't involved? "Reisio! What do you think?"

Stemma tsk-ed audibly. "Shipwrecks are common enough on this shore, and it's a real pain." She whined, pouting and stamping the ground with her feet. "All the bodies are like, impossible to bury. I try to put em in the sand, but they keep popping back up!"
She looked at Krampa for backup. The goat-man had sat down on the beach, enjoying the view. He grumbled agreeably, mumbling something to Stemma with his low voice. She thought about it for a moment and nodded before turning back to the Mirrims.
"Krampa says it's because they're sinners for encroaching on royal territory." She shrugged. "Anyways, there's a little wreck in the water just a little bit... mmm..." Stemma tried to remember, and when she did she pointed vaguely in the direction she saw it. "That way! We could snorkel over to it, if you wanna see!"
Stemma beamed, waiting confidently for the twins' response.
