Floating above the Sanctuary, hidden from view through magical means is single tower called the Pinnacle, where the Dragon Guardians reside. The Pinnacle is where the Dragon Guardians go about their business, making sure to keep order in the world and determine the laws. The tower only appears into view when the Guardians deem it necessary if they wish to intervene.

Maldria - The city that surrounded Dragon Castle is called Maldria. Maldria is a place where many people, rich and poor, live together. The north side is where the marketplace is located, many of the buildings shops, although there are many streets shops lined about. Street shops are usually merchants who have travelled from outside Maldria to sell their wares, typically rare and unique items not found in the shops of Maldria. The South side is where many of the residents live, many buildings containing multiple rooms for families live together. The East side is where many farmlands and single homes are. This is typically filled with farmers who make a living off of growing crops and producing live stock. The West side is where many events are held, such as festivals. A giant Colosseum resides in this area, where tournaments are held.

The territories surrounding Dragon Castle and Maldria are as followed: The Wildlands, The Kingdom of Baston, The Kingdom of Alliran, The Land of Distal, The White Hills, Valorian, Suleyk Lumnaar, and Lumikki

The Wildlands (Southwest) - Mostly undiscovered territory filled with Jungles, Deserts, and lush environments. Left alone primarily to avoid offending or disturbing the local tribes who consider their lands to be sacred. Those who visit these lands must have permission to enter from the local tribes, and agree to their conditions.

The Kingdom of Baston (Southeast) - A technologically advanced civilization. Using their advancements and prowess to create environments of amazement. Buildings made of brass, statues that reach to the heavens, elevators that seem to last for eternity, and vehicles never thought possible. Because of their remarkable skills, they have gained immense wealth by distributing their creations all over the world.

The Jewel of the Heaven's Mirror (North Of Baston) - It is said that after the calamity that befell the Land of Distal, a group of magicians made their way east to the Kingdom of Baston. Upon reaching the peak of the western mountain, there below them on the other side was a salt flat which reflected the sky above, known only as "The Heaven's Mirror". At the center of this wonder, was a city, floating high in the sky. The Jewel Of The Heaven's Mirror, or simply The Jewel is a city that thrives off of, and encourages the study of magic. Many a young magician have made pilgrimage to this glorious city, in hopes of honing their skill.

The Kingdom of Alliran (Northwest) - A rather modern and simple Kingdom. A great ally to Dragon Castle as Alliran help fund and construct the castle, as well as aiding with supplies. Renown for it's immense size and population density, Alliran is the most notorious among all civilizations.

        User Image

The Land of Distal (Northwest) - The Land of Distal is place where many magical incidents and events have taken place. The land itself is very volatile and creatures of all sorts lurk within it's boundaries, making it extremely dangerous. Despite this, many magically inclined individuals stay within it's borders to continue their pursuits and further develop their magic. There are rumors of ancient catacombs lurking deep underground that attracts magic users and archaeologists to try and explore to try to find it, but is basically very difficult with rampant magic in the area and creatures lurking around it. Rumors say these catacombs contain some ancient magic and artifacts, some that could be considered lost magic.

        User Image

The White Hills (Northeast) - A mountainous and treacherous terrain enveloped by a blanket snow. Like the Wildlands, few have visited this area from fear of being taken by the harsh winter winds. Rumors have indicated that dragons have originated here and still lurk within the peaks. Making it even more feared and infamous.

        User Image

Kingdom of Valoria (East) - Valorian is an elven kingdom with certain superior technology to other races. It was untouched during the great war Illyndrathyl lived through, so its beauty remains untouched. Many of the residents are neutral to outsiders, not friendly but not rude either. They don't technically gate keep, but they do tend to watch those who may come to harm the citizens. It has a mild climate, though it is most beautiful after a good rain. It is a neighboring kingdom that isn't too far from Maldria.

        User Image

Suleyk Lumnaar (North) - Suleyk Lumnaar rests directly north of Maldria along the west side of the White Hills, hidden in a valley-like area between a cluster of mountains. The town is surrounded by walls to protect it from intruders, and has two entrances leading in and out. The town primarily has dragons living in it, mostly those who have become adept in magic to take on a human form. Given that mostly dragons live here, they have a strong military force. Due to this, many tend to avoid trying to invade this place, or risk death. If you have a special gold medallion that grants them free access to the town whenever they wish. Typically those with a gold medallion are those born in town or in the area of the mountains, and have been approved by the government officials as an official citizen. Many merchants, typically employees delivering mail and goods to and from town, will be given a silver medallion that would allow them into town. Bronze medallions can be purchased for 8 drachma coins, or 200 gold coins, to allow temporary access to town for a month. The medallions have a small chip of metal in the centers that are enchanted with dragon magic, which would cancel out dragon magic if used on it. Fake medallions would break, though due to their size, it is not often replicated. They have their own government separate from the rest of the world. There are areas made for dragons when they are not in their human forms, or for those who aren't adept in magic enough to take on a human form. The town also consists of taverns, mostly serving alcohol that dragons can handle with ease, and could easily get most humans very drunk after one glass. The northern part of town consists of farmland, with their own unique crops that are only found in the region. The farmlands also contain stables and breeding grounds for Drake hounds. Many Drake hounds are sent to the military force to be trained to help in police activity. Drake hounds are not found in the wild, as they are a result of magical engineering. The southern part of the town consists of shops, such as smiths, wood shops, and stone crafters, along with some banks. Typically the banks use their own form of currency, called Drachma coins. Drachma coins are made from hard obsidian. They will accept the standard currency from visitors. One drachma coin is equal to 25 gold coins. On the eastern side of town, up into the mountains, where several naturally formed hot springs are found. Crime is taken very seriously in Suleyk Lumnaar. If theft occurs, it is reported immediately and the culprit will often be found and caught before they can flee town. If a homicide is reported, the town is sent into a 24 lock down for investigation, and will prevent anyone leaving or entering during this time, unless you have a gold or silver medallion.

Home of the Frostine Crystal, their man export is the crystal itself which can be used to store power / mana / magic in it and released continuously until it’s all been used up. Primarily used as a power source in their nation, it was quickly spread around the world and became a massive income for them. Their other export is fish. As it is a coastal nation, that is their main livestock but for healthy dietary needs, half is always shipped out for meat from other nations and produce. Lumikki is also home to the incredibly popular Coral Bear that has taken the hearts of the nation as a completely lovable big bear, with tear that could tear through metal, so cute.

Neve Frostine: Youngest out of Noelle’s three children, she displayed the most potential in magic and academics, her older brothers insisting on fraternizing with the other houses and womanizing. Although babied by her older brothers, she is the heiress to her family and the next to lead the nation of Lumikki due to her similarities to her father.

        • Lyallson:

They always played dirty and if it meant poisoning someone or assassinating people for profit, it was always an option. Although corrupt, they did hold a major influence when starting out, stronger than the Frostine family until Frostine Crystals were discovered. Weaker than the Lyall family, they were talented at the shadowy side of things, resulting in them being the main problem for the Frostine and Lyallson family in the coming age. Sylla Jhaast: Sylla has captured the heart of Neve’s older brother Niahyn thinking that if she were to marry him she’d have a better way of being the head of the nation. The Nation of Lyonvale - Lyonvale is the closest coastal nation to Maldria, built on an ancient dragon clan's former land. It was due to this that many in the Wildlands particularly had issues with the nation throughout its years of existing. Within the past century, tension turned into a full-out war (Known as "The War of Mathilde's Vengeance), in which Lyonvale won and created a treaty to pay tax to the tribes of the Wildlands as compensation for the centuries of turmoil. Many of the citizens hold racial prejudice towards those who don't appear human, even if recent rulers have attempted to ease racial tension through marriage. The kingdom is a hierarchy built by the Lyonhart family--the original founders. The ruler is not called king or queen by the citizens, but The Heart of Lyonvale. The current ruler is Valensa Lyonhart, the first female ruler. They are an important harbor town for Maldria's imported goods and fishing economy. In spite of their history and political climate, Lyonvale keeps peace with its neighbors for economic purposes.

The current population size is no more than 150,000, most of the population living inside the walls, but some live in the neighboring farmlands who are declared as part of the Lyonvale nation. The actual scale of the land itself reigns over 120 KM (approximately 75 square miles). Most people speak the common language of the continent, though most citizens speak more than one language as a means of business etiquette. The vast majority of citizens are human, with the average life span being 88 years of age. Most residents are patriotic and are well-versed on the history of their own land. Farming land has great soil, and Lyonvale produces high quality orchards, but their main business is sea fishing. Most residents with wealth gain it from fishing expeditions and the merchant business. The military and local police are one and the same, making up a total of 7500 soldiers, approximately 5% of the population. The military is praised by citizens for their job in keeping the people safe. Enlisting is available for all regardless of gender once past the age of 20 so long as the individual is deemed fit for battle. During times of war, drafting will be done to include anywhere from 10-20% of the population. The first to be drafted are often those in families with combat backgrounds. All soldiers are taught basic arcana magic so as to specialize in what is known as Magical Combat. Ranking is often decided in a democratic fashion by the citizens, though honorary general positions can be decided by the ruler of the land. While the technology is generally more advanced than that of Maldria, and aqueducts run throughout the entire city, magic users are not the majority. Most magic users are quickly placed in high ranking positions, usually as doctors, generals, or archivists. Lyonvale residents, simply known as Lyons, generally follows the religious path Gramaryean. Temples dedicated to each god can be found everywhere, with a large temple dedicated to the paternal god Paradox found in the heart of the nation's walls. Other temples can be found conveniently to catered demographics. Iless' (God of War) temple next to soldier barracks, etc. The entire city celebrates Gramaryean holidays, closing markets and government-funded places alike (save hospitals) to hold grand festivals and ceremonies. Gramaryeans from all over the continent often travel far and wide to attend such events
