For all his strength and skill, the lone wolf curl up in the park still recovering from the previous night. He hardly expected to be forced into his anthro form to escape a hunting party. Whether they were bounty hunters or the everlasting rid the world of creatures hunters, he could not fathom. A grouping nonetheless had him cornered and instead of the normal four legged form, he had to escape by mean of old. How his bones and flesh ached returning to a human silhouette, phrasing and snapping into a smaller form of a twenty three year old with onyx locks that drifted into his brow hanging over his honey brown irises still tainted by the golden glow of his bloodline. His mind recalculated his status huffing on the ground. All human once more on the outside. The inside still a touch out of place. He gulped looking at his blurred surroundings. A tree was what he could gather for now as him mind swam from the light head rush he was receiving.
It was the patter of footsteps that roused him from his state. Somewhere off in the distance, a human walking. He edged himself closer to the tree and hoped a bush was rooted to hid in. Yes, how his pride hated hiding thus so but alas here he was hiding in his birthday suit seemingly in a drunk like state. He could in fact play that part that role and get past it, but in truth he did not wish to deal with bars or coming up with where his clothes went or who he was. A cover story so they never knew who Julius Pierce was. Julius blinked once then twice before his eyes latched onto the details of the scene before him. It wasn't long before he heard the footsteps dissipate. Julius was thrilled that it was not the group from before as he found a slight scar from a night. A blade ripped his flesh if he recalled. As he tried to stand and even walked, he was rather interested in actually getting a drink now. Julius bit back a yawn and eased through the shadows with sluggish movements. Just the feel of his newly made skin had him rubbing absently. “Now, where am I?” He rasped ducking low in the bushes to stalking about until he found what he needed for clothing.
Julius let his mind slide back to last nights events. It had to be the latter of the two. He did not recall a bounty on his crown nor did he believe someone would waste one on him in the first place. A roar rose from his stomach and he was sighing. “If it is not one thing, it is another.” He uttered to himself. Food was ideal though. His pride still gnawed at him from it all.
