The blueblood watching you looks unimaginably bored today. She sits slouched over her booth, despondent that no single squoob was worth her doob. Watching the accidental spatula hurl, she gives a long sigh, then looks at her watch. "Doob a squoob. Squoob squoob." Sitting up, she slides a dvd box set out of the junk pile and across the counter, then stands up and pulls a shutter down, closing off the inside of her booth for the day. It seems a vandal sprayed "teh Empwesr Is A dUongblEnog" on it, and drawn the worst representation possible of a pair of firm buttcheeks. Possibly this graffiti has been left up due to no one being able to tell if 'dUongblEnog' is an insult or a compliment.

Armed with a newspaper sheet folded into a boat, Knetic feels the unparalleled urge to shout. So he lifts the boat up high and tries to be as loud as he can.

"SQUOOB A DOOB!"

He's very proud of that roar. So proud indeed that he's grinning like a fool and breathing heavily from the sheer force of it.

"Nah dude, this is like. Maybe not the best booth? But like, one of the best booths. You gotta see it to believe it." Ever since Dei had accepted her admission of friendship, she had grown even bolder as of the late. Spotting Deimos in the crowd had spelled no escape for either tealblood.

She led him to the pile of junk. "So like, you just pick your doob. And then you squoob it." Emi graciously received a rubber chicken from the blueblood at the booth. "Squoob a doob, my dude!" She started pulling at it from ever angle to rip it open, to destroy it and get the squeaker inside. Surprisingly, even with her robotic arm, it was just... stretching. And stretching. And squeaking.

Nictor blew out a mild sigh of resignation, once more looking at the mountain of hoarded miscellaneous objects that built up Squoob a Doob. It was inevitable that he'd end up here anyway, might as well just do it while he was actually paying attention. It was that kind of forethought that meant when he approached tonight, he was ready for the traditional jump scare holler from the booth owner. Like, it still made hims jump, but it was that kind of thing where you knew it was gonna happen so at least it wasn't 100% out of the blue.

Then before his eyes, without any preamble (as usual), the mysterious troll licked her thumb and plucked a newspaper sheet from under the counter somewhere. At lightning speed, it transformed into....a boat. Huh. That. Was actually kind of interesting?

Nictor yelped a little when the troll leaned over the booth top and grabbed him, yanking him forward enough to drop the prize into his hands before retreating to her domain once more.

"I-I, uh...t-th---anks?" Nictor blinked a few times. Well, they're reached this part of the routine and he still didn't know what he was doing. What was a squoob? What is doob? Was there somewhere he could learn these things? wa she expected to just figure it out? He'd tried mimicking the catchphrase a couple nights ago but he really didn't feel closer to an answer. Was there some secret about the items being handed out or where they just...things pulled at random from the collection of stuff?

Nictor was what some might call distracted. Nothing unusual, but easily made him at least 50% more accident prone. In this case, it spelled the death of the boat int eh form of someone brushing his back and him jolting violently.

Crush went the boat in his hand, lost to a convulsively clenched fist in reaction to the startle.

Rest in peace, boat.

Nictor's posture wilted. Oh. Now he felt bad. It was a nice boat.

"S-s...sorry."

Deimos squinted at Emi as she dragged him to the booth. This... looked like a pile of trash. "What's a doob?" He blinked slowly as a rubber chicken was thrust into his hands by the booth runner. Dumbly, he watched Emiola attempt to rip hers to shreds. "Is that squoobing?" He had no idea what either of those words meant. Was he even hearing them correctly? Was he even actually here?

Not wanting to mess up, or something, he attempted to rip his apart as well but with how tired he was he just... mostly succeeded in stretching it out. Wow. This sure was a durable doob. "Am I doing this right??"

Polair took the five pronged spatula with hesitation. Honestly she didn't know why she came back here. The nonsense was unbelievable but, entertaining?

She did her best to hand the object back to the blue blood before she ended up throwing it to the crowd.

Cynril needed to Squoob more. Why wasn't he squoobing his doob like the first few times? Was he getting tired? No. At least he thought he wasn't.

The rubber chicken was something he didn't possess yet. Itd be great to Squoob that doob with a loud Squoob a doob!

Dale took the newspaper shaped boat and giggled. This was sure a looney thing! She wanted it though. Maybe her snake lusus could make her one! Or steal a new one... God that would be great.

Anyways, the little girl thought it would be even more fun to place the boat on top of the bluebloods head. But since we're talking of a child, she only managed to get ly pat it on the older trolls face due to her lack of height.

Being a kid was tough.

Stryke should have remembered how gog damn weird t his place was...he came by very briefly as if he doubted he had really seen it. It was like one of those bad daymares you hear about sometimes...only this was real. He pursed his lips as the yellowblood peered at the booth. He wrinkled his nose, shaking his head in wonder. Just as he was about to head off in another direction the blueblood was close to him, and shoving a ball of socks in his hand.

She seemed to look at him expectantly as if waiting for something to happen. Blinking several times, Stryke reluctantly looked down at the offered ball of socks...half tempted to keep them since he could always use a pair.

"What in the world..." "Forger Specie" and his accent was a tad thick, but it was a practiced speech pattern he worked on enough to sound effortless. "Um..." He looked sort of confused...glancing around as if trying to get some kind of idea what the hell to do...the patting motion from the blueblood gave him a vague idea but... "Does anyone actually know what in gogs name is going on?" He murmured rubbing his neck as he watched someone pat an item and chuck it....so reluctantly he did the same tossing it into the crowd (he'd have to go find those later....he called dibs on what would now be his).
