Oh boy, another confused patron. This was part of the agreement for running the booth, so... even if Mihail wasn't a huge fan of the way Knetic was giving out these stars, he was going to follow suit. He flagged down Buffel, waited 'til the older troll was still, then pinned the star labeled "something occurred" to his jacket. "I'm suh--sure you'll do better. uh, next time." Right. With that he gave a curt nod, then turned to the next patron...

Oh! A seadweller. He definitely needed to handle this. "Tha-tha--aank you. We are glad yuh--you approve." He offered up a stiff smile in response, then held out one of the cow plush toys for Polair to take. "He--here, for your uh, scuh--score." Knetic loved these things....

That handled, he moved on to... Nanogg, yes. The competition the tealblood had in mind was interesting, but Mihail wasn't entirely sure he understood what Nanogg was getting at. "Di-- did you mean, uh, for us... All against each- each- each other? Or will-- will you have a part-partner?" He didn't think it'd be very fair to go 2 on 1, especially since he and Knetic worked so well together.

Mihail glanced over to Knetic, mulling this over. "Well... If the te--teams are even, then I think it cou--could be fun. Uh, it wuh--would have to be e--early, or uh, late. Since we--we uh, can't just lea--leave Sa--Saigen alone. Tha--that wouldn't be fa--fair." They all took turns taking breaks to go play at other booths, after all.

While she remained blank faced, Byakko was actually kind of... excited? To play this game. It served both entertainment and training purposes! How clever.

Much to her dissappointment, her side of the booth began to glitch out alongide Luxara's. Glancing over at the greenblood for confirmation that this wasn't just part of the game, Byakko shot blankly at her flickering screen.
The vibrations in the toy gun startled her.

Occassionally the screen would hold for a frame or two and she could make out a target, and her quick reflexes paid off. For the most part, though, it was static.

"Mmmm..." Byakko hummed in agreement. Underwhelming was an understatement.

But there was one upside- the promise of a prize. Cynril would like one of those plush toys. She couldn't remember one like it in his vast collection.

"I would like to collect my prize," she announced as they exited the booth. Her voice held a note of earnestness.

Poe was ready this time. He'd gotten better! He was gonna be a good shooting boy sooner or later. He looked longingly at Luxara and her high scores long enough... he'd learned from her! Poe would learn again.

When he buckled in this time, he was determined. He felt like he was sailing through, shooting everything. His score was much better than the last few nights. He beamed proudly.

Trusci walked up to the booth. She was silent as she stared at the machine, the half-baked tealblood running the machine, and the two polar opposite purplebloods. Staring the latter two in the eyes, she said "No." before entering the simulation.

Maybe that was the secret. If she was calm to the point of dead inside, then she focused easier? Perhaps she was just so jaded that war came second nature to her. She couldn't even be happy about this--this entire victory was sullied by the past two days. It tasted metallic in her mouth.

When she exited, she gave Knetic and Mihail a solemn thumbs up. She had no reason to step foot near here again.

After visiting Demari and Hemera the previous night, Sarcel reviewed the list of booths and came to a decision. There was one more stop that she felt obligated to make.

"Mihail." She approached the booth with set determination. "Hello. Is this a friend of yours?" She looked to Knetic curiously. Purplebloods sticking together. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it was about what she expected. What were they like, she wondered? "I thought it would only be fair for me to experience the trials you have set up here too." She'd seen them through ASSJACKED, after all.

"We can talk when I'm done." She spoke simply as she stepped into the simulator.

It was fun, but debatably different from every battle she'd ever participated in. Still, she kept up alright once she got a feeling for the controls. She'd never played video games in her youth, but she could see how something like this might be a useful investment for training purposes! Perhaps Mihail was onto something. Or maybe they were just being kids and having fun. Why not both?

She exited casually, "That was actually... pretty fun." Maybe she'd come back? Maybe not. If her obligations allowed for it. "Now. Where were we...?"

5. You're strapped into the simulator and get a short explanation of what to do. Enemies pop up immediately and you barely manage to destroy them all! Only to be taken out by an asteroid you couldn't see behind all of the explosions.... Whoops.

Selune didnt know about going to this booth again... The last time had been... traumatizing. But, Selune was greedy! She had points, and she didnt want them to go to waste. Especially that plushie... Selune had eyes for pretty plushies. So, in she hopped. Before hand tho, she gave her simulator a look. "Dont, dont fall asleep!" She gave the troll in charge of her game a look.

Luxara nodded, but her gaze slid back to the simulator. She wanted to try...one more time. Maybe see if it wasn't total garbage. And, really, she missed shooting stuff.

"One moment."

The greenblood managed to slip away real fast, and even faster go through the simulator. This was because it barely bothered with enemies. Yawn. She returned almost as fast as she left, greeting Byakko with a shrug. "Yeah, I think I'm good. I've seen better at the Skate Queen."

She wasn't about to ignore Akko's business, though. "So what do you think of the prizes?"

Mihail straightened up as Sarcel approached - well, if it were possible, he already had pretty good posture. He nodded a greeting, then glanced over at Knetic for a split second before returning his gaze to Sarcel. "Lt. Sin-Sin-Sincil. Y--es, this is Kn-Kn-Knetic." He could say more- but why elaborate? She hadn't really asked for details. He watched with some nervous anticipation, and some bit of pride as Sarcel settled in to play their game. He thought he'd done a pretty good job with it, even though it... seemed to be glitching out fairly frequently. That wasn't really his fault, though.

When she returned, he looked over her score, then ducked down under the booth to pick up one of the cow plushies that Knetic had picked out for prizes. "He--here, you g--got a high scuh--score, so you get to ha--aaaave one of these." He held it up for her to take with both hands. It's bubbled head flopped to one side.

"I'm gla--aad you enjoyed it. Kne--Knetic likes spa--ace travel too, so we de-de-decided a sim--yoo-lator would be good. And, and, after the missions, uh, not too long ago..." Now he was just rambling. "A-aaanyway, thank you for com-com-coming."

Selune had taken her prize home with her last night and it had a place of honor next to her recooperacoon. She did feel like she should probably give it to Cynril... since she had stolen one of his stuffed animals... The greenblood would think about it later, for now she was ready to get in and GO!

There was a speed bump tho. A cocoa cup... full to the brim even... Selune glared at the cup. There was only going to be one outcome here... and she knew what it was.. In order to minimize the damage, the greenblood picked up the cup, took a long sigh, and chugged .
