Makkah was floored by this girl's sudden acceptance. First they were friends and now they were sharing SECRETS?? That was massive. Makkah held her fist out for a solemn fist-bump of trust.

Though she was trying to be serious, the purpleblood just couldn't hide the enormous grin on her face. A grin that turned into an open mouth of astonishment as she watched her new friend pick up and EAT a SLUG.
That was so....hard core.
Makkah picked up her net and scooped at the first bug she saw on a leaf. She managed to grab...an ant.
Oh well, this would have to do. She stared at Gnash, watching for some sign of approval as she slowly brought the ant to her mouth and stuck it to her tongue, swallowing it. It would've been hella gross if not for the fact that she couldn't taste it at all. She followed her act of solidarity with a thumbs-up.

Api stared at the fly in their net, face scrunched up slightly. Well. It was a bug, right? They brought it back to Leeroi, but apparently... Apparently this was not the right bug. They awkwardly edged away, fighting the urge to just. Book it. Or something. Why did they sign up to join this group again? It was pretty clear they were not very good at bug catching.
Imagine that, a kid with a bunch of bugs for a lusus being bad at bug catching. What a sham.
Makkah said to trust her, and Gnash did. She seemed like a very nice girl! Not afraid of her, for one, though purplebloods and other highbloods often weren't. Angel said it was because they were better. Still landdwelling scum, as she thought of them all, but highbloods didn't cringe from her fins as much. Gnash returned the fist bump awkwardly.
The purpleblood even still liked her when she did bug eating! Gnash smiled and looked for another one. Little ants... they hardly counted for anything, easily crushed and easily consumed. "You are so good at finding little ants as well!"

Leeroi is so touched by his new bracelet that he starts to tear up. There's something about the handmade quality and natural mistakes that it moves him sincerely. He gives Psykgi another big hug, thanking her profusely for it.

The gerbils are also quite moved by Psykgi's fashion sense and impeccable petting sense. Brainz just seems incredibly happy to receive any attention to this degree— he's used to being avoided more than the other gerbils.

With that, Gnash waved Makkah to the medic game. She wanted to show her new friend... how sometimes she was good at fixing the plushie. Luckily, it went off almost without a hitch, slipping at one point but just as she had the day before, Gnash had a quick fix that let her fix poor Stuffington's leg and mend his eye. She was very proud of her work!

Buffel finally managed to make it over to the Grubscouts booth, eager to sign up for the opportunity to be a counselor. His bounty-hunting had netted him a lot of skills over the years and he was sure his skills would be a wealth of information for the eager scouts to learn from.
He spotted a friendly face at the booth and smiled. He waved over to Leeroi with the hand the blueblood had given him.
”Howdy! I heard y'all were lookin' fer some counselors to help out!”

Makkah had tried once again to have a go at Sir Stuffington's wounds. Something had gone wrong this time though. The stuffing was misplaced. It was spilling out every which way and try as she might, the stuffing wouldn't stay in the leg. Her sewing di nothing to keep it from spilling out, coils of fluffed cotton spilling out onto the floor. Her eyes welled up with tears as she fought to plunge the stuffing back into his lifeless (some would say inanimate) form, but it would do no good. She wiped away her tears as she slowly placed a white sheet over the patient's face.
”I'm callin' it. Sir Stuffington is hella deceased. Time of Death:...”
She choked back a sob.
”...too soon.”

Nictor carefully didn't look at those button eyes that had pulled him off balance yesterday. Except Sir Stuffington's eyes was hanging, oh no. The damage to the poor thing was sad to look at, but Nictor knew how to mend! He absolutely did.
Tho that was typically clothes and not stuff animals and it would seem navigating the fluff was so much harder than it should have been. Maybe because he kept quietly apologizing fro stabbing the needle through his leg and he was loosing too much stuffing oh no nono...
