Leeroi wasn't intimidated by this huge spider, but maybe he should have been. Distracted by it, and almost finding it cute, Leeroi was easily thrown over by one of the creatures legs in a swift kick. That wasn't enough to keep Leeroi down, though! He was up and ready with a cool flip forward onto his feet.

He gave the 'spider' one good punch with his robot hand. It produced an awful sound upon impact and earned a shriek from the spider, too. Leeroi took the opportunity to grab Chilla and hold them protectively. Yay, he did it!

On the way out, Leeroi wanted to exchange some of his points for additional prizes. There were the two soldiers he missed out on getting— Balboa would be for Hemera, since they shared colors. Chilla he wanted for himself, but could he manage to barter one of his extra Ginnies away? If he didn't, he wouldn't have enough points for that cool cuddlesack with the lieutenant on it.

"Hey, uh," Leeroi tapped the front façade of the booth to try and get someone's attention. "Do you guys do trades?" He held up one of his extra Ginnies. "I wanna get Balboa for my kismesis..." He tried to play up the cool boyfriend aspect of it, maybe that would help. "I've got points for the other stuff I want though! Chilla, and one of those cuddlesacks..." It would match the one he had of Vrykol from a couple sweeps back!

      Kerras Farron

Points: 20

Inside the dome it was dark. Kerras hovered near the entrance, even as the gate rumbled behind them, sealing away the last of the outside light. Only a couple of dim lamps were left to illuminate the interior, spaced far enough apart for the darkness to cultivate shadows. The air felt still, and the quiet was thick enough that they could hear their urgent beats of their own blood pusher. Kerras wiped their palms on their pants, suddenly clammy despite the chill. Lieutenant Chilla waited up ahead.

They had taken no more than five steps towards the plush, when the ground let out a rumble. It started with a barely perceptible shake, and then their teeth began to rattle. Out of no where, the earth heaved beneath them. The tealblood lurched to the side. They threw their arms out for balance, at the same time bracing their knees. They could feel themselves tipping, the ground violently shaking them free. Then, there was a mighty crash, and the world bucked beneath them.

Rising shakily to their feet, Kerras saw an enormous, hairy spiderbeast crouched in the middle of the arena. Lieutenant Chilla lay face down at the beast's feet. Down, Kerras thought, but still breathing. Their eyes went to the wall, where an array of weapons waited in the gloom. A knot of fear clumped in their throat as it dawned on them what they had to do. They swallowed.

Sprinting towards the rack, Kerras grabbed a sword, whipped back around and launched themself at the spiderbeast. A long, hairy leg swung at them, and without thinking Kerras ducked. They went skidding underneath the appendage and directly beneath the belly of the best. Seizing the plush, Kerras hurled her as hard as they could. Not exactly the smoothest rescue but a rescue nonetheless. Now... about that spiderbeast.

Minutes later found them clinging to the back of the arachnid and screaming.

      Captain Kursha Vidari

Points: 50

The dome was a mystery and Kursha didn't like it. He had spent the first few hours of the evening perched on a distant rooftop, observing the comings and goings of other trolls visiting the booth. No one seemed particularly eager to go in, he noticed, and those that came out... those that came out came out in a hurry, looking worse for wear. Some far worse. Sarcel had prepared something nasty no doubt.

Unfortunately, the blueblood had done a bang-up job of keeping out prying eyes, and as much as Kursha spied, he could not deduce anything about the dome's contents. That left him no other choice. He would simply have to come prepared for anything and everything.

Mid evening the greenblood finally showed his face at the booth and armed to the teeth. He carried two rifles, a pistol, six grenades, three flash bangs, a combat knife, and wore what had to be at least ten pounds of ammunition strapped across his chest. Not surprisingly, he didn't make it very far before Sarcel intercepted him.

All the spiderbeast has to do is lift one leg against you and you're neck deep in snow and unable to fight back. How the heck did this happen? As it looms over your body, it hones on you--no!--but... then it just gnaws on you a little like you're some sort of chew toy. Uh... Sarcel intervenes before anything serious happens.

"What? I don't understand." Scorpa blinked as she entered the arena. Looking around for the task, she reached for a cardboard sword in confusion. Was she supposed to-

WHAM!

Scorpa opened her eyes and saw sky. She was outside? But- huh? Sitting up, she looked back into the dome. Wait, back into the dome? She was outside of it?!

"No! This isn't- I can't- I won't-" The yellowblood hollered, jumping to her feet while Sarcel separated the spider thing from her. Not willing to accept these results, she tried to push her way back in.

"I WANT A REMATCH!" Trolls that passed by were treating to the sight of a troll losing their s**t. Stomping and screaming, Scorpa had a complete meltdown in the snow.

Flydra entered the arena warily. Sarcel had been very clever setting up these challenges to strike at you from where you didn't expect it. The tealblood kept a hand on a syringe tucked in her bag. She was ready to stab with a paralyzing agent in case Nahori or Sarcel herself popped up out of nowhere to shove snow down her pants. Flydra really wasn't a fan of the sneak attacks that kept happening.

So she was incredibly charmed by the demonbeast that came crashing down from above and kicked her in the eyeballs.

"Noooo!!" She shrieked, jerking her wrist up to stab except- she was caught in the strap of her bag! Lunging down from the monster's next kick, Flydra gulped audibly as her hand slammed against the side of her thigh, injecting herself with the paralysis agent. She had to work quick to 'win' before her error became obvious! She chunked her cardboard weapon at the monster and screamed "I win! Yay me!" really really quickly and ran out before anyone could object.

Scorpa was outside practically wailing on the ground.

"W-what happened?" The tealblood asked in awe. It had been a long time since she'd last seen the yellowblood this upset. Flydra knew better than to pull her into an embrace though. Scorpa needed to work out her feelings through destruction, all the sirens knew that, and Flydra did not want to be the object destroyed. Listening to her story, the tealblood nodded and vowed to help her.

"Hey! Let us back in line. Give us your spot!" Flydra huffed at the other competitors, trying to intimidate them into letting Scorpa cut back in line for another round.

Almost from the start, the spiderbeast seems wholly uninterested in this makeshift fight. It does nothing and you win automatically, but Lieutenant Chilla seems satisfied anyway and joins you in exiting the arena.

Oh finally. Something Dei was fairly confident he was marginally good at, fighting things. All of that confidence wavered slightly when the giant spiderbeast descended, though the fuzzy look of the creature did make it appear a little less threatening. Even with all of that cardboard stuck onto it. Didn't that hamper it's movement?

He laid eyes on the plush- he'd get it and get out, real fast. Glancing away from the spider for a second, Deimos picked up the cut-out that most closely resembled his own familiar mace, then slowly circled around one of the sides of the dome, just to get an eye of what the spider might do.

Except it didn't do anything. It seemed more preoccupied with grooming than him. He was almost disappointed. Deciding to risk it, he took a few steps directly toward the spider. Nothing. Wow... This thing was really going to ignore him. With a sigh, he marched right up to Lieutenant Chilla and picked her up, shooting a pouty glare at the spider before heading back up. No, he was going to keep this one. Compensation for a boring final day when this booth had been kicking his a** all week.

When you charge in to take on the spiderbeast, it raises one large leg and bomps you almost harmlessly right over into the snow. Your perseverance allows you to get back up and face the monster. Your drive inspires Lieutenant Chilla and the outcome is a good one!

Mihail took one look at the giant spider and was suddenly reminded of the one that Knetic had just gotten from that weird booth the other night. He hoped that one didn't get to be this big... He grabbed a generic sword cut-out, then charged on in to battle. It was likely trained not to really hurt anyone, after all.

Except it did knock him over immediately, right into a snow drift. With a huff, he sat up and shook himself out - he could already see the disapproving look on Aligaa's face. It wasn't his fault though, the spider was big! And Mihail was too small to be fighting on his own still. Aligaa had said so himself. Frustrated, he pushed himself back up and decided to forego attacking and just run in to retrieve the plush.

He turned it back in to Sarcel and Nahori at the end with a slightly less than enthusiastic salute at the end. The week had been long, and he was very tired.

It was a rather elaborate puppet, all things considered. Tsarzi took some cardboard daggers off the wall, the closest thing to what she was familiar with, and shifted her grip on them. Now, what would mark the end of the conflict with the great cardboard beast?

Tsarzi took her time to observe and feint approaches, getting knocked once for her troubles, but nothing she couldn't recover from. Darting in to make blows and dodging away, Tsarzi eventually got close enough to snag her objective and retreat from the monster with the plush in tow. A bit cold and covered in snow, but no worse for wear.

Acteon was definitely never gonna be a soldier, but they had fun pretending. And especially with this booth, along with their bud. The spiderbeast was hard to fight against, and cardboard was useless. They tried their best to fight, distracting the spider but it was immune to their wiles. Instead, they had to run out of the area a lil roughed up.

The cardboard weapons seem like the best bet against the spiderbeast (maybe), so you grab one and attack. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to do much. The enemy is large and in charge and the cardboard smushes uselessly against it. Lieutenant Chilla is disappointed but not surprised. You get a little roughed up in the scuffle after that, but you manage to make it out of the arena. The spiderbeast takes a well deserved snooze after showing you what's for.

Yesterday's flawless run gives Knetic a confidence boost needed to face this giant monstrosity. It's a thousand times larger than the spider friend he'd gotten at the weird squoob booth and a thousand times more intimidating. Nonetheless, he gears up and attacks!

His cardboard weapons falter under the stress and bends uselessly against the massive fluff ball. Well, this is going to be difficult.

Fighting back against something that can fling a troll his size into walls or sit on him till he pops is an experience. One he's hoping he won't ever have to replicate, groaning loudly as he hobbles out of the domed arena and ignoring the very shameful gaze of Lieutenant Chilla.
