Almost from the start, the spiderbeast seems wholly uninterested in this makeshift fight. It does nothing and you win automatically, but Lieutenant Chilla seems satisfied anyway and joins you in exiting the arena.

Lorata wasn't sure what to expect as she walked into the last challenge. She'd seen Flydra and Scorpa arguing to try and get back into line, but had already been stepping up to take her own turn before she could quite figure out why. The first thing she saw were weapons, so she quickly moved to take one. It was as she was inspecting the weapon she'd drawn (was this made of cardboard?) that her would be opponent dropped down.

The seadweller stared at the spiderbeast. The spiderbeast stared back. Neither moved for several moments. She lifted the cardboard sword with one hand, paused, and then with an emphatic "No", she dropped it and turned on her heel to walk out without looking back. She scooped Lieutenant Chilla up on her way out.

Thankfully, the spiderbeast didn't seem to particularly care.

"Hm?" Sarcel slowly lifted her head from where se was behind the counter. She looked to Leeroi, then to Nahori, to the merchandise and then back to Nahori. "You wanted what?"

Leeroi's eyes went wide, and he pouted out his bottom lip. The lieutenant seemed terse with him. Did he do something wrong? Maybe the way he was addressing her was inappropriate? He clicked his heels together and saluted.

"Uh, yes, I'd like one of those big pillows... Sir?" Leeroi's confidence wavered. He gave a sheepish smile, unsure of what else to say on the matter.

"Oh, um... just a second!" Near the back of the booth, Nahori was rummaging through a box, but hastily shoved the contents back inside when approached. Her hair stuck out a bit, making her look more disheveled than she had at the start of the week. "I-I'll take care of it, sir," she told Sarcel, trying to play it cool, but there was an obvious sheen of sweat on her brow.

Leeroi may have been a blueblood, but Nahori shot him an almost frantic and impolite look that said be quiet. Ducking under the counter, she grabbed a spare Balboa and, bloodpusher in her throat, held a hand out to trade for the Ginnie. "Trades are.... n-no problem."

Desperate to keep her secret then, her voice fell to an almost whisper and she said in reference to the cuddlesack, "You might be thinking of another booth..." And then in an even quieter whisper, "You can pick it up around back.... p-p-please just keep it down."

Buffel decided one more visit to his military amigos was in order before Bloodfest was out. He made his way to their booth, happily waving.

”Howdy pals! How's yer last day b-?”

He stopped when he saw what was unmistakably Leeroi being tursely whispered to by Nahori. What was that about? The gunslinger was puzzled, but it seemed like something he'd best not meddle in. He entered the booth and was lead by Sarcel into the back where the trials had been.

He was awestruck at the large dome. Surely whatever they had planned was of the "Grand Finale" sort. He prepped himself for quite the ordeal as he strode in. The doors locked and he mentally stacked himself up for the certain doom he'd be facing. Sure enough, a large spiderbeast was released upon him and he resisted the urge to recoil as it roared back on its hind legs and...

...finished its yawn calmly. Well, so much for a grand finale fight. The yellowblood took one of the makeshift weapons off the wall and walked near it, seeing if it reacted. Instead it curled its legs inward and began to doze. Poor little guy was tuckered out. Buffel softly pet their head with his cardboard instrument of death and walked over to Lt. Chilla.

Walking out of the arena, the yellowblood went to find Nahori and figure out what all the fuss was afore the fight.

You grab a cardboard weapon from along the wall only to realize too late that it's waterlogged from the snow and totally useless. Lieutenant Chilla looks pretty disappointed, but at least the spiderbeast isn't actually as intimidating as it seems, though it does knock you around a little. Seems the immense padding coating it is to protect itself as much as protect you from serious harm. You manage to make it through the trial alive, but injured.

Austri was ready to destroy. After seeing her besties' successes (save for Scorpa, who received a loud SNRK and a LAUGH) Austri was ready to throw down. Getting ready for the next challenge, the greenblood waved at Sarcel and entered the arena. The gate shutting loudly behind her made her jump a little, startled. Huh. This was... concerning. Austri strolled up to the plush, confident in her abilities, only to be met with a large threat-- Was that a monster...? Austri couldn't discern what it was but she had a feeling she needed to fight it. Her hand reached out to grab a weapon and when she pulled it back, it actually fell limp in her hand. Austri squinted. Ehh, ******** it.

Although she wasn't using the designated weapon, Austri charged through, using her powers and the strength of her kicks to hit the "creature" over and over again. It happened a couple times that when she kicked it, it slammed back into her, forcing her to fall back and sputter. Welp. Austri could do better! She kept at it, trying her best to attack and somehow?? Getting injured in the process?? She'd taken it down, yes, but it was a struggle, somehow... This wasn't real battle, at least, Austri reassured herself-- It definitely wasn't a good estimate of her abilities!

Leeroi opened his mouth, then closed it. He wasn't sure what the fuss was, but he'd follow along with the orangeblood. She seemed embarrassed. Leeroi wasn't very familiar with that emotion.

"O...K..." Leeroi did as he was told, meeting the orangeblood on the other side of the booth.

Away from the others, Leeroi pressed Nahori for more information. "What's wrong? Has the Lieutenant not seen these?" Were they like, gifts? "It's a good photo, I don't see what the problem is." He shrugged.

Nahori gave Leeroi a long, weary look. The adrenaline of mere moments ago was slowly ebbing away, leaving the chilling sensation of realization. He was a blueblood and she'd been pretty rude. Even if he didn't seem that ruffled or offended, she felt like she owed him an explanation.

"It's.... The truth is, she hasn't seen them. She can't," Nahori stressed this like her life depended on it. "There's... just... no way she'd approve. It was an accident... when I was ordering the plushies..."

It was hard to resist the urge to go straight for hiding her face in her hands. Instead, she busied herself with sneaking him what he'd requested. "Please don't... tell her..."

Eckios Chivul
Today's Points: 15
Total Points: 75

Eckios looked nervously at the blueblood as she leads him to the door that no longer was tapped off. W..wait he had to go inside there?! The small, young troll looked at her with dismay. Was she crazy?! Fidgetting with his jacket sleeve he looked down at his shoes as he followed her dejectedly. Gulping, he took a deep breath. Whatever was about to happen...he would be okay, right? He didn't get to take his lusus, so he had to have her stay outside by the booth to wait for him. Gnawing on his lip, he peered around curiously as he entered what looked like an arena. An excited little chitter came from Eckios as he realized Lieutenant Chilla would be his buddy today! Bouncing with a quick happy step about him, he reached for the plushie. It was one of the ones he had..he hadn't gotten enough to collect them all but he'd really tried. Giving Chilla a pat he smiled brightly. "o..okay...I will help her...with dat immediately." He stammered out, nodding his head.

Clank. The gates slamned closed.

Eckios whimpered as he whipped around looking back the way he came. Fear made his pump biscuit speed up. Why was he being locked inside?! He could feel the ground begin to rumble...and Eckios almost turned tail and run...but his legs were shaking. What was happening?! A giant spiderbeast dropped down out of nowhere. Eckios made a weird noise, akin to a squeak as he fell on his a**.

The yeti-like arachnid raised its multiple limbs in an intimidating fashion..and it worked. He flinched as he opened his eyes. Being yelled at by Lieutenant Cincil to move his a**....Eckios squeezed his eyes shut for a moment and tried to muster up the courage to move. The words of the adult seemed to sink in, and Eckios pulled himself up rushing to arm himself. Acquiring an adult-sized cardboard box, he wielded it in a two-handed stance. Charging in, he made sure to not use his powers as he gave a little (pathetic) battle cry. Just as he went to swing his weapon, he got bopped by the spider. Going sailing, the child's small body went sailing as he landed in a snowdrift pile.

Pouting he came up sputtering as he pulled himself to his feet. "I...I'll g...get you...somehow!" He dashed back in, determined not to disappoint either Lieutenant Chilla or Cincil.

Eyzaak Hiroki
Today's Points: 10
Total Points: 90

Eyzaak was actually pretty tired tonight. He had a hard time sleeping, it was the final day of Bloodfest...and he couldn't WAIT! The young blueblood was pratically running all over the place trying to get every last second of the fanfare possible while also helping keep an eye on their booth. Truthfully he wasn't looking to it ending...that meant life had to go back to normal. Damn. Sheepishly he dashed over to AssJack'd to see what kind of crazy shenanigans were up for today.

Simply put, what was to come Eyzaak never expected in a million years. Being brought into an Arena like setting, he looked around with a confused expression. When the ground began to tremble, Eyzaak crouched down, on high alert. He had been training since his early days as a child to be ready for anything. What greeted him, however, was a silly looking spiderbeast. It was decked out in "armor" and was all trying to look tough...but it was cute as hell.

Eyzaak fought valiantly, but for what it was worth..a giant spider vs a cardboard weapon sucked. Let's be real here. He twapped it several times...making no real progress. The enemy was large and in charge, and simply ignored his attacks as the cardboard smushed uselessly against the beast. In retaliation, he got knocked around by the beast before it shuffled off and went to take a much-needed nap apparently. Eyzaak gave a stretch and yawned himself. "Maaaan...I just got my a** beat by a spider...total lamesauce." he laughed despite that as he walked away with his hands pushed in his pockets.

Trevel Caleft
Today's Points: 10
Total Points: 85

Trevel returned for the final night of activities, curious to see what else the orangeblood and blueblood had in store for them. So far it had a hell of a lot of water...the thought made the highblood grumble. Shrugging it off, he decided to dive head first. The enormous dome received a curious look as Trevel moved closer. Being led inside, he would help out how he could he supposed. What exactly did Chilla need help with...

The answer came not long after the gates snapped closed. The rumble of the ground gave Trevel pause. A giant spiderbeast dropped down, the creature was covered in cardboard and fur decorations. Raising a brow he got ready for whatever would come at him. The call out to arm himself, he turned to grab one of the cardboard cut outs, weapon drawn. He wasn't afraid, he was ready as he darted in.

The fight was well fought, he was winning. He was even ready to deliver the "final" blow, but reinforcements from the sky above rained down upon him. With the Lieutenant at his side..he would fend them off, one by one to finish the battle. Claiming victory, and another stuffed animal (that Eckios likely would beg him for) he exited the arena with Chilla, and the little reinforcement he snagged.

Leeroi didn't do so well when lowbloods acted like this around him. His stomach twisted up and his face got all warm. He hated feeling like that, but it was nice in its own way, he guessed. Still, it left him speechless and stupid for a moment. It was an awkward stretch of time. How was a hero supposed to respond to such a desperate plea?

"Well, I don't think you messed up! I actually think you did a really good job!" He laughed softly, scratching a cheek. "I won't tell her since you asked all nice, but I wouldn't be too worried," He shrugged and gave a little smile. "The lieutenant seems like a much more cooler officer than mine. I can't imagine her being so upset over something so little."

Buffel saw a shifting around the back of the booth as he approached. Moving around to the side, he glanced over at what appeared to be an illicit deal, between Leeroi and Nahori!! He watched as she pulled out...a pillow?

The gunslinger approached cautiously, announcing his presence as he got closer.

”Howdy guys, uh, what exactly are y'all doi-”

When Leeroi didn't immediately answer, Nahori's mind dipped straight into worry. Would he tell Sarcel? Maybe he thought outing her would somehow get him in the Lieutenant's good graces. Oh geez, oh man, oh- wait...

The only thing that stopped her thoughts in their tracks was finally noticing the blue spread across his cheeks. She hadn't been able to look him in the eyes since asking for secrecy, but now she was staring. It would be pretty obvious when she started to blush, too, her face nearly the same color as the frames of her glasses. When he eventually spoke—she certainly wouldn't be the one to break the awkward silence, after all—what he said made sure she kept blushing despite herself.

"O-Oh... you... you think so?" she mumbled, "That's... really, um, nice of you..." Nahori wasn't sure she believed the mistake was actually something good, but she appreciated his attempt. She even managed a small smile for him. "Thank you..."

That was when she glanced away, unable to keep her eyes on Leeroi's face any longer. At the same time, Buffel approached, and Nahori felt glad to see him until he stopped mid-sentence. She paled, her eyes darting from Buffel to the pillow. There was no way he hadn't noticed.

"B-Buffel... hello...."
