I'M PLAYING DANCE DANCE REFORMATION!!!
name: acteon
difficulty: standard
score: 1

This was their last chance to do well at the game! As Acteon danced, they looked with dawning horror at the remix version, at the lights and arrows. Horrifying.

I'M PLAYING DANCE DANCE REFORMATION!!!
name: Tsarzi Ameroc
difficulty: Heavy
score:

Total points so far: 459 (I think???)

It was a bit of a shame that this would be the final night with the Dance Dance Reformation games. They'd been an interesting experience and practice in reflexes, something Tsarzi could see a lot of value in. Her scores continued to fluctuate as the songs changed and she would have preferred more time to work on improving her scores.

And to a degree, she could with her VIP pass, but only for tonight and then it'd be useless. A shame.

I'M PLAYING DANCE DANCE REFORMATION: REMIX!!!
name: Tsarzi Ameroc
score: 120,673
proof: proof
scoreboard name: TSR

Tsarzi's brows quirked slightly, however the rest of her expression remained static. The stops moving across the screen were an absolute mess. It would be a feat to remains standing while attempting every step, let alone getting a perfect score on that. Perhaps it was time to look into if games had quality control and what metric they were using to judge these things because this was fairly well beyond the capabilities of a troll.

Whack-a-Groundbeast
Score: 88

Tsarzi struck quickly and was on track for a perfect score. Was being the operative phrase here as her last chance was interrupted by a mass influx of the crowd, getting bumped and pushed away from the machine, even as she dodged away and tripped some trolls. By the time she returned to the game, it was over. How unfortunate.

      Kerras Farron

Once again, Kerras was out of luck and out of time. They kept looking between the screen and the game pad, landing on the appropriate arrow just a second too late. Somehow, staying on beat was so much harder when they had to think about where to place their feet. At least on the harp, they knew where their fingers were meant to go.

When at last the song finished (they breathed out a surge of relief; it had been touch and go there for a bit) they collapsed against the banister. Not a great score, but they were just happy for it to be over and not to have failed out completely. Much to their chagrin, one of the podlings hopped onto the game pad, selected the heavy difficulty, and began dancing like a demon.

“That's kind of mean...” Kerras muttered, watching the “Perfect”s fly.

      Lutrin Weesil

A loud crash and an angry scream came from the direction of the whack-a-groundbeast game... or where the whack-a-groundbeast game use to be. Lutrin stood over its crushed remains, breathing hard, and wielding the deformed mallet. Her eyes were wild and unfocused.

From the wreckage, a half a dozen nutbeasts emerged in a daze. Lutrin swung the mallet like a golf club, sending one of the rodents flying. That was enough motivation for the others to gather their wits. They scattered and Lutrin went after them, all but frothing at the mouth. The hunters and prey raced around the booth, knocking over patrons, merchandise, and stampeding everything under foot.

At last Lutrin cornered one of the nutbeasts by a lone DDR machine. She and her prey stared each other down, each wary and bristling with violence. Then in a blur, she pounced. The two went down in the snow, claws and teeth flashing. The other five nutbeasts, detecting the commotion, froze where they stood. In an instant they came running back. They dove into the fray, and the air soon filled with blood, fur, and animalistic screams.

The combatants rolled onto the dance pad, a tangle of flailing limbs and pain. As they continued to fight, the game took its cue to start. A jumble of arrows flew up across the screen. Lutrin screamed again, kicking and twisting in an effort to rip the nutbeasts off her. Score results began to explode across the monitor: Boo, Perfect, Marvelous, Miss, Good, Good, Perfect, Miss, Great, Miss, Boo, Good, Boo, Great, Miss, Marvelous...

Lutrin rolled away into the snow, and the squirrels took their chance. They raced away into the distance. Bruised and bleeding, Lutrin pulled herself to her feet. Suddenly she whirled to face Frossa, taking her by the shoulders. Her grip was tight, and impressed bloody handprints into the purpleblood's coat. Lutrin took a deep breath, expression pained. She opened her mouth, as though to speak, and...

“...”

The words stopped in her mouth. After a second the brownblood closed her eyes. She released Frossa and withdrew. From behind, a security team advanced on her in a loose ring. Lutrin inclined her head to the side every so slightly, marking their positions. Then her gaze flitted over to the blood-dressed DDR machine.

By the time anyone caught onto the meaning of the glance it was too late.

Lutrin vaulted over the top of it, and from there leapt onto the roof of the booth, well clearing the heads of the security. She fell into a roll, landing on the other side, and without so much as stopping to catch her breath, sprinted away.

While running your booth, you’re approached by pair of a trolls, a yellowblood and a redblood. They stand close together, but you can see they’re holding hands quite tightly and the redblood seems like she’s hanging back slightly. They’re both bundled up, as one would expect in this weather, and the yellowblood seems particularly anxious, biting his lip and rubbing his free palm on his thigh.

“Ahh, I, ah, I w-wanted t-t-to...mmm.” Man his stutter wasn’t great.

The yellowblood shifts a little, eyes darting away then back, digging his hand into his pocket and procuring friendship bracelets.

“H-here, f-or, ah, r---unning a b-booth. Th-thanks.” He hands over the prize, looking a bit flushed and flustered.

You received bracelets from Nictor and Kolako! There’s enough that each troll manning the booth can keep one each!
If i miscounted and missed someone, let me know. Everyone needs a bracelet. Everyone.

If you would like to respond, feel free to quote Nictor! Kolako doesn’t seem very interested in talking though.
