Personality: When people meet Lady Grey, the first thing to come to mind is that she's arrogant - She's good looking, and she knows it. She tends to spend much of the money she earns to keep this up, from expensive clothing to the sorts of brushes that will keep her hair well-maintained looking. She doesn't worry about her spending habbits at the moment, either, walking with the confidence of a successful courtesan.
For all her arrogance and vanity, though, Lady Grey knows both how to pay attention, and to keep conversation polite and filled with courtesy, especially when speaking to Holders. There are more than a few she knows to talk into a dead end, too, to try and get information out of - She who hold the information holds the power, especially when one knows what Holder isn't planning on properly Tithing.
If there is one thing Lady Grey doesn't do, it's make commitments to people - She'll commit to a place, as evidenced by the fact she hasn't left Rivercrest, but people are an entirely different game. What her reasons are, she won't say - To the general public, her past is not up for discussion. The only person she seems especially close to is her assistant.
For the most part, she finds Thread to be a nuisance, as it leaves periods of nothing to do while it's falling. Tragic when it eats somebody or through somebody's animals, but a nuisance none the less.

History: Many of Lady Grey's issues with people and money stem from her beginning - Born to those branded Holdless, not even given shelter by the wandering nomads of Pern. Up until she was sold to one of those wandering merchants, she was told repeatedly that she was lucky to be born and alive, as no Hold on the Northern Continent would surely want a holdless brat like her. But then her parents, desperate for money, saw an opportunity and sold her away as a drudge at the docks near Tillek Hold.
The man who'd bought the girl didn't care much for the name she'd been given - He took to calling her Mimusa, and made her, for a time, a drudge on his ship. Initially she thought this would be a horrible experience, but soon found the work enjoyable and the people around her a pleasure to speak to. With the merchant crew, she sailed up and down the western coast of the Northern Continent, until her trust in them was betrayed.
Once again, Mimusa found herself sold in port. It was a pattern that repeated itself several times, until she was 15 - Then she was bought by a woman who took her back to Rivercrest to be a Courtesan. By then, Mimusa's hair had started to turn white, a genetic predisposition of going grey early in life inherited from one of her parents. While most would see this as a problem, the woman who'd bought her saw it as a boon, something special. Mimusa began her training as a Courtesan when they reached Rivercrest.
For 14 turns now, Mimusa, who had began going by Lady Grey to all but her very few closest friends, has been working her skills, enjoying the weather of Rivercrest and the Western Continent while feeling free to bed anybody and everybody who wants her services. She does wonder, though... How are things on the Northern Continent? She should visit some time...
Other: Even from Rivercrest, Lady Grey is absolutely willing to be eyes and ears for Lady Ink.
