The housing district was a bit more void as many people were either headed to or coming from the festivities. The small cloaked group simply minded their own as they slowly walked the streets, until the signal they had been waiting for had sounded. The first explosion was their cue, and without missing a beat, a Grey Hooded Archer removed the cloak from her horned head and narrowed her strangely rectangular pupiled eyes while she pulled a bow from her back. Without skipping a beat, she nocked two arrows that had small cylindrical tubes mounted to them. She lit both of them and then fired them simultaneously into two separate houses in the area. One arrow struck the outer wall of a house before releasing a small explosion itself, and the other went into through the window of another house causing a larger explosion to occur in the house, blowing off of the roof. A bit further down the street, a Grey Cloaked Rogue brought his hand up, and suddenly a third house started to rattle and shake before a small piece of it simply disappeared in a perfect orb of emptiness. At the center of the housing district, a Black Armored Mercenary ripped off his cloak and hood as his forked tongue passed through his lizard snouted mouth, and he brought his claws up before roaring lightly and attacking any passerbyโs in the area.

Looking back at the Grey Hooded Archer, the Grey Cloaked Rogue clapped his hands at the mayhem that the shifter had released on those homes, the Archer smirked lightly before reaching down into her bag and pulling two more arrows out, and got ready to nock them as well, but before she did, she looked back at the Rogue with her strange horizontally slit eyes, and put out her hand, as if she was saying โAfter youโ. The Rogue bowed lightly and then looked towards another random home as he watched their other shifter the Black Armored Mercenary run off and barge into a completely separate home. He then turned towards the closest undamaged house, and brought his hands up in front of him, channeling magical energy before releasing it towards the house. The house suddenly started to rumble and vibrate, and then just as before, a LARGE gaping sphere just swallowed the whole thing, leaving a huge spherical gap in over half of the entire house.

Laughing lightly as she started to pull her bow again, the Grey Hooded Archer suddenly narrowed her eyes when she saw two figures come out to the streets out of the corner of her eyes. Stopping, she turned and looked over at them while tilting her head to the side, cause the Grey Cloaked Rogue to also stop and look in the direction of her gaze. When he caught sight of the shifter warrior before him, and the animal following him, he smirked lightly as he brought up one of his hands while the Archer nocked one of the tubed arrows from earlier. As he held his hand up, he formed a giant sphere in front of them, dark and strange as it blocked Rey and Aldaineโs vision from them. At the snap of his figures however, the sphere suddenly disappeared in the air before them, and as it disappeared the tubed arrow came flying right at their feet, lit with a short fuse that capped just as it struck the ground. The resounding BOOM that immediately came filled the air as the explosion ripped through the ground where they had been standing.

Aldaine dashed to the left. He noticed a set of trees where he could manoeuvre. However, cover wasnโt effective while that archer and caster were still in tact. He may not have been in his jaguar form, but that wasnโt going to stop him. He still had decades of training from Master Gerot and while the thought of the old man now made Aldaine sick to the core, he found it hard not to be somewhat grateful for his teachings. โWellโฆtime to put those years of training to useโฆโ By the look of it, it seemed that the two extremists didnโt see where Aldaine had taken cover, otherwise heโd have been dead by now. He took this opportunity to slow his breathing and calm his mind. This way, he focused on all the small sounds around him. The strained wood of the archerโs bow. the paces of extremistsโ footsteps. Eyes re-opening, Aldaine readied himself. It may have been a clear day, but, if there was one thing Gerot taught him, it was to utilise whatever shadowed areas were in the vincinity. It was then a single thought ran through his head, โTime to make you squeal little piggies.โ
With that he dashed out of his hiding spot, dashing this way and that making use of any significantly shadowed areas at any given opportunity. The speed at which he was moving was sure to make it difficult for the extremists to keep up with him, especially as he was moving within the treeline. The wolverineโs body may have felt more stiff and less flexible than his jaguar form, but, it was nothing Aldaine couldnโt manage. He continued to repeat his movements until, when he passed the final tree, Aldaine shifted so that he had a human body, but his face and hands still donned the Wolverineโs look and claws before dashing at the archer and rogue at break neck speed, going for the archer first, intent on taking away her arms.

Rey knew that the two extremists wouldnโt hesitate to launch their attack on them, so when the Grey Cloaked Rogue formed a giant Sphere in front of them Rey knew to be wary. As Aldaine jumped to the left, he dodged to the right โ and just in time too. The blast that erupted at their feet propelled him farther than he had aimed to fall but Rey was able to tuck and roll regardless. Growling low, he came to his feet, his hand grasping the handle of one of his swords. Unsheathing the blade, he watched from the corned of his eye as Aldaine went for the archer โ that left the Grey Cloaked Rogue for him.
The Rogueโs power was dangerous โ given the orb shaped holes in houses he could only imagine what that sphere was made of or what it did to anyone or anything that got absorbed into it. Regardless, he wouldnโt give the Rogue the chance of catching him. However, Rey had the feeling he needed to get up close and personal with this guy if he wanted to kill him. Sword in one hand, he grabbed a small throwing dagger with the other, moving forward, he took aim and threw the small dagger at the Rogueโs chest. It was more of a distraction tactic than anything โ he needed to close the distance between them. Darting forward as quickly as he could, he kept the Rogue in his sights, blade ready to slash and kill with a flick of his wrist.

[~ @Aldaine ~]
While the Rogue kept up his mark on Reynard, further down the street the Grey Hooded Archer narrowed her eyes while focusing all around her. The explosion caused her to momentarily lose sight of the wolverine. However after a moment, she noticed a small blink of shadow passing from one tree to the next. Not much could get past her eyes, so all she had to do was sit and wait. As her rectangular pupils sucked in all of the vision of everything around her, she nocked and arrowed and waited until the wolverine came closer, pretending that she did not know where he was. When he finally came out to charge her, she smirked lightly as he shifted and attacked her. Something was odd however, something in the way he moved. One arm didnโt quite move like the other, and although he was very swift, this slight handicap was all too noticeable to her eyes. Since she knew he was coming, she waited until he neared, and then suddenly crouched down, and jumped straight up into the air with her powerful hooved legs, jumping completely over the wolverine hybrid while taking aim down below her and firing a shot at his legs. When she landed just a couple feet away, she rolled back to her feet before taking another arrow and firing it off at him as she leaped into the air once more, then time jumping back nearly 4 or 5 yards before landing and smiling as she realized just what it was that was so irksome about him. Found you! She let out under her breath before pulling a much smaller wooden tube out of her pack and tossing it at the ground in front of her. The tube burst into a puff of red smoke that slowly lifted and filled the air around them, and she pulled up her bow, and fired yet another shot at the Wolverine hybrid, laughing and backing up every time he tried to get close.
[~ @Reynard ~]
As the dagger flew at him, the Grey Cloaked Rogue narrowed his eyes and smirked bringing his hand up in front of him. A small sphere of clear emptiness appeared several feet in front of the dagger before turning black. The moment that the dagger entered the sphere, the Grey Cloaked Rogue closed his fist and the sphere disappeared, dagger and all as Reynard charged forward. Seeing what the shifter was up to, the Rogue lifted his hand up once more, this time creating a sphere just slightly bigger then Reynard just in front of him. The sphere turned black like the other, and the Rogue waited with a dagger of his own at the ready, knowing Reynard wouldnโt be so foolish as to run into the sphere himself. As soon as he popped up coming around the sphere, his dagger would fly keeping the shifter at bay as he prepared to open another sphere. Meanwhile, the Black Armored Mercenary came crashing out of yet another home at the sound of the fighting outside, and upon seeing the red smoke, he smirked and started to run back toward the street where his comrades had found their mark.

The archer was quick, there was no doubt about that, but unfortunately for her, so was Aldaine. With each arrow she fired, he dodged successfully. In turn, she was able to successfully manoeuvre around him. Strangely, Aldaine felt no sense of no sense of anger for frustration. For some reason, he instead felt an nigh uncontrollable zeal and excitement course through his veins. As the archer landed, she set off some sort of smoke grenade which set a red fume up into the air. Aldaine could have an educated guess as to why, and the whisper under the archerโs lips didnโt go unnoticed by him. He then heard the whistling of another arrow as archer jumped behind him again. He turned quickly only to find that the arrow had successfully wedged into his shoulder. Despite this, Aldaine let out no cry of pain, no sign of discomfort. It was then, he shifted out of his animal form. The game was up, so there was no point in disguising himself any longer. Staring at the archer, he mockingly laughed, merely pulling the arrow out of his shoulder with a chilling simplicity to his swift movements. Shooting a toothy grin at the archer he spoke "You honestly donโt think your little arrows are enough to stop me do youโฆ?โ Looking at the arrow, he then did something no one would have expected. Carefully, he licked some of his blood off of the arrows metal tip. Continuing to stare at the archer and the red smoke, he continued โNaughty girl you. It seems youโve found me out. If Iโm honest itโs been a while since I had a real fight. If Iโm going to dieโฆthen I plan on enjoying thisโฆdonโt disappoint me nowโฆโ He said, before dashed at her again, this time, varying his directions rapidly before drawing his swords, adapting a low stance and shooting towards he, drawing his sword up the ways, aiming for her right arm.

โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Heโd known the Orb User wouldnโt just let him charge full force at him. No, this man wasnโt someone who wanted to get up close and personal with someone โ he was a distance fighter, like the archer. But just because the Grey Cloaked Rogue didnโt want to go hand to hand in combat, didnโt mean it wasnโt going to happen. As soon as the overly large sphere appeared between them, Rey came skidding to a halt. Narrowing his gaze, he contemplated how to best go about this.
โI canโt see through it, which means neither can heโฆโ He thought quickly, assessing his options. There was no way the Rogue wouldnโt be expecting him to run around orb, but would he expect something to come through it? Smirking a little, Rey knew that there was only one way to find out.
Taking a few steps back, Rey twirled his sword in hand. Changing the grip, he held it more like a spear, or a javelin. Pulling his arm back, he narrowed his gaze, took aim and launched his sword into the sphere with all the force he could muster. With any luck, his aim would be spot on or close to what heโd thought, but just in case it wasnโt, he quickly drew his other sword and braced for a fightโฆ

Aldaine continued to smile at the Archer. He was happy to see here enjoying herself, it would make it all the better when he reduced her to a screaming fear-ridden mess, begging for death. Yet all she would do is dodge and that was no fun. Aldaine, at this point, had abandoned reason, regardless if his mind wanted him to came down and think things through, his despair it seemed had broken him. Suddenly, the archer stopped, causing him to hesitate as a blurred figure interrupted the motion of his strike, disorientating him a bit. However, Aldaine sudden felt a presence behind him. All time and sound seemed to slow and fade as he realised who was behind him โ Gerot. His lips formed a small, sad smile as he spoke quietly to himself โWellโฆIโll be damnedโฆโ he felt his eye move slowly to look and see that Reynard had managed to kill one of the b*****d murderers. It made him happy at least to see that Reynard had scored a victory. Well, now that the extremists had him, they really had no reason to harm anyone else. Well, Aldaine knew, it was all futile in the end. He knew that in the end, Arthur would get his way. It was then he felt a hard strike at the back of his head. As he fell to the ground, his vision fading into unconsciousness, a single thought filled his mind as the fox shifter standing triumphantly was the last thing he saw โHmphโฆyouโre no longer that little runt I encountered back thenโฆโ Aldaine recalled the time they had first met in battle, all the way to nowโฆ
As he collapsed and his eyes closed, the Jaguar managed to finish his inner farewell as once more, a single tear ran down his cheek โGoodbyeโฆand thank youโฆBrotherโฆ"

โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ The moment the sphere disappeared Rey tensed for an attack. But the sight that greeted him was a welcome one. His sword was embedded inside the Rogueโs chest, where the manโs heart was located. The look of awe in the manโs eyes was a compliment โ it seemed that no one had ever thought to do such a thing, if they had, he would have been more cautious. Giving the Rogue a small nod, he watched the man cough up blood and fall forward onto his sword, the force pushing it through his body, burying it to the hilt.
Reynard didnโt have time to congratulate himself on the victory or his clever strategy. There were more enemies to engage, one of which seemed to be a friend of the man heโd just killed. Narrowing his gaze on the shifter, he growled low. Gripping the handle of his sword, Rey knew that taking on this enemy would be a challenge. Meanwhile, he had no idea that Aldaine had been drawn away and attacked from behind by someone that heโd trusted.
Stepping to the side, Rey focused on the shifter, his instincts on alert. As a fox, he could typically sense when a predator was near, and this shifter was definitely a predator. From the looks of him, he was either some kind of crocodile/alligator or maybe even the dreaded Komodo Dragon breed that was acutely rare. In any case, he wouldnโt underestimate his enemyโฆ
"What are you waiting for? Avenge your comrade..." He needed the man to make the first move, and if he happened to be angry, all the better - rage clouded the mind and would give him an edge toward defeating him...

Gripping his blade, he moved into a stance of attack only to hear the whistling. Narrowing his gaze, he didn't let the distraction draw his attention away from the enemy, but as the Cloaked Man known as 'Gerot' came into view holding Aldaine's limp form over one shoulder! Cursing, he knew that he needed to go after the b*****d, but with the Komodo Dragon standing between them, he had no choice but to fight. Cursing under his breath, he looked back to the shifter. 'Make it quick...damn right...you're not getting away!' He thought to himself just as the man began to charge at him. Letting out a shout, he began to charge at the man as well, sword in hand as he sprinted. But as the Dragon jumped into the air, fists raised, Rey fell back and skid upon the ground moving under his enemy, his sword raised to swipe and slash at the man's underbelly as he moved beneath him. Skidding to a halt several feet behind the enemy, Rey rolled to his feet, sword again at the ready. There was no telling how much damage he had done, but regardless, he was ready for round two. Coming down upon the shifter, the Mercenary just barely missed his body as Rey slid beneath him, slashing at him from below. The sword nicked the side of his neck and started to press into his shoulder before hitting his chest plate and being deflected the rest of the way. The Mercenaries punch had lost some of its power as a result but still hit the ground with a hard thud. Quickly rolling forward so that he didn't leave his back to the Fox Shifter, the Mercenary spun about in place and extended his claws once more, without waiting to give Rey a breath, he charged forward once more, this time swiping at Rey as he neared, letting his strength be his guide. Rey knew that he needed to get up close and personal with this guy, as much as he didn't want to. Time was of the essence, so he couldn't play it safe - that meant charging in head first - or sword first in this case. Facing off against the Dragon, Rey dodged the first swipe of the Dragon's claws with ease, the tips of the razor-sharp claws barely missing him, the second swipe he knew he couldn't dodge in time, thus he lifted his sword to block, the claws of the beast scraping against his blade like nails on a chalkboard. The slashes were rhythmic in nature, and becoming a bit predictable, but even with that knowledge, the third swipe of the Dragon's claws was a lucky strike that slashed over his chest, tearing his clothes and scratching just deep enough into his skin to make him hiss, his blood staining his shirt and the Dragon's claws. Growling low, Rey had had enough...Tucking down, he tumbled toward his enemy, throwing him a bit off balance...And as he gained his footing, he gripped his sword and moved his body upward just as he thrust his sword upward toward the Dragon's maw... Swipe after swipe, the Fox Shifter would keenly avoid his blows. Until he finally managed to get through one of his defenses. Feeling his immense power overtake the Fox Shifter, he saw his opening and took it wildly, clawing at the Shifter's chest and only cursing that he wasn't able to claw deeper. But in his confidence, he slipped up as he brought his claw down trying to gain even more advantage after his strike. He hadn't expected the Fox Shifter to suddenly dart forward into his reach and take the offensive, with his body already pressing forward, and his claws already descending, he could do nothing to stop the blade as he pressed up and through his throat right into his brain. The snap was quick, as was the death that followed, and the body of the Mercenary would go limp as it fell forward and onto Reynard. โ โ โ โ โ โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ

โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ โGah! Get off me you-โ Rey growled as he struggled to shove the lifeless, yet exceedingly heavy body of the Komodo Dragon Shifter off him. The manโs blood dripped onto his clothes, warm and sticky. Grimacing, Rey shoved him to the side and wrenched his blade from the shifterโs skull, wiping the blood off on the manโs shirt before sheathing his weapon.
Without a moment to lose, Rey turned and dashed in the direction Gerot had taken Aldaine, but as he did, something caught his attention โ the glint of a familiar blade. Narrowing his gaze, Rey ran toward it, skidding to a halt as he realized that Aldaine had dropped one of his precious bladesโฆWithout hesitation, Rey grabbed the sword and took it in hand, sheathing it where his missing blade would have been.
He they turned and headed down a side street. If Gerot wanted to get Aldaine out of the City and back to Trendel there was only one way to do it and that meant he needed to get to the Docks before the enemy did. Luckily, he knew this city like the back of his hand โ there was no way the enemy would get there before himโฆ
