Tides hadn't set out to look for Ripples, exactly, but it was hard to get the Kiokote doe out of his mind. Whether it was because she'd beaten him easily in a swimming race or because of something else, he wasn't sure. Either way, he was definitely pleased to find her back where he'd first seen her a few days prior. He trotted up to the water's edge and called out to her, waiting until she was fairly close before taking a short run through the shallow water at the edges of the small pool and launching himself out towards her. The kimeti hit the water with an almighty splash, finding himself submerged for a second before he struck out and swam to the surface, grinning wickedly as he shook water from his fur.
