Mister Mirage vs The Blood Imbruer [KOTC Octane #13]

The following contest is a Quarter Final Match in the King Of The Canvas Tournament and it is scheduled for one fall!

Time seemed to have halted in the Octane arena as a monochrome effect came over the arena.The voices from the audience were replaced with silence.

You make promise of protection
To a future after life
To the final resurrection
And to eternal paradise



Mist filled the stage as a mirror was slowly raised onto the center of the stage. A dark apparition appeared in the mirror, reaching out towards the ring, the mirror halting it's progress. Taking a step closer, the apparition slowly pushed a gloved fist through the frame and then the hooded figure stepped through entirely. The apparition was the Mysterious Stranger himself, Mister Mirage! He was back!

But then I'm blinded with temptation
And to every mortal sin
Is it God that sits there waiting?
Or will the darkness suck me in

Mister Mirage's coal black eyes stared down at the ring when he was finally free of the mirror. He turned slightly and shoved the mirror to the floor, shattering it immediately when it made contact with the stage. The monochrome effect faded out as soon as his glass prison was destroyed. Once again the masked man turned his attention towards the ring and began making his way to it. Intensity and discomfort could be felt from the audience as Mister Mirage made his way down the ramp. The hooded man paused as he stepped in front of the ring. He slowly raised his hands as sparks flew from his shock gauntlets. The Specter tilted his head as he lowered his hands and then rolled into the ring.

Who was the soul to face the man from the mirror?

 

[Cartwright]

Justin Roberts: "His opponent...."

The arena lights turn to a deep shade of red as 'Raining Blood' by Slayer blasts out of the arena entrance. An Iranian man enters the arena, wearing a head scarf, long red wrestling tights and red wrestling boots.

Justin Roberts: “From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! Standing at 6 foot 5 inches, weighting in at 250 pounds! He is....THEEEE BLOOOOD IMBRUUUUEEEER!"

The Blood Imbruer slowly makes his way towards the ring, staring straight at Mister Mirage as he does so.

JR: "BAH GAWD! It's the hardcore veteran, The Blood Imbruer! I never thought I'd see him here!"

King: "Look at the size of him! What a monster! Mirage didn't sign-up for this!"

TBI enters the ring and growls at Mister Mirage as his theme fades-out. Red pyro explodes from the top of all four turnbuckles as he poses for the fans.

 

[Mister Mirage]

Mirage titled his head to the side as he watched his opponent descend the ramp. Of all the people Mirage happened to be, he had never heard of The Blood Imbuer! However, the man towered over the Mysterious Stranger!

Mirage dropped to a knee momentarily as his body crooked and convulsed. What was the Specter doing?!

The bell rings to start the match and it looks like TBI doesn't care what Mister Mirage is doing on his knee, instantly charging towards him with a kick to the face!

 

[Mister Mirage]

Mirage was clocked in the face, knocking the Mysterious Stranger flat on his back!

Mister Mirage

The debuting wrestler already looks dominant as he sends Mister Mirage flat on to his back on the mat. TBI decides to wrap his hands around his opponents throat, looking to choke him out!

 

[Mister Mirage]

Hands wrapped around the neck of the Mysterious Stranger. Mirage's arms reached at TBI's wrists, weakly trying to pull them off. His hands finally went limp and slumped down onto his chest.

 

[Cartwright]

The referee forces TBI to release his illegal choke with a five count. He looks proud of himself, flexing for the fans as he looks down on Mirage. TBI decides to lift Mirage up with both hands, looking to throw him across the ring with a two handed choke toss!

 

[Mister Mirage]

TBI continues to show his dominance by manhandling the Stranger! Mirage was easily pulled from the canvas before being lifted into the air and tossed across the ring!

 

[Cartwright]

TBI dusts his hands, the brute thinking that he is making light work of a supposedly big time WWFG player. He places his foot on Mister Mirage's chest for a pin attempt!

 

[Mister Mirage]

The ref quickly drops down to count the pin!
"One!"
"Two!"
"Thre-!"
Mister Mirage suddenly thrusts his arm up, throwing the large man's boot off of his chest!

 

[Cartwright]

Well, it looks like Mirage has more fight in him than TBI thought he had. TBI smirks, looking quite happy to dish-out some more pain to his opponent. TBI rebounds off the ropes, looking to crush Mister Mirage with a huge Body Splash!

 

[Mister Mirage]

The Specter suddenly rolled out of the way of the incoming large man. He rolled onto his feet and stayed low in a crouched position, ready to strike!

 

[Cartwright]

The monster of a man that is TBI crashes into the mat! The big man holds his chest for a moment on the mat before he returns to his feet, ready to meet Mister Mirage.
