Miranda Rose vs White Tiger [KOTC Octane #14]

The following contest is a Semi Final Match in the King Of The Canvas Tournament and it is scheduled for one fall!

The lights dimmed, it was dark until it the tron showed highlights of White Tiger Technical prowess in other promotions and all out brawl for the championship. As the as more it showed with the instrumental violins playing As soon showed Tiger rising triumphantly with every title he's held. A text appeared on the tron: "Welcome this Century Hero!"
Ai Wo Torimodose sounds thru the PA system as the tall White Tiger walks out from backstage, his mask and suit were white, but still looking fierce as the tiger. White Tiger walked down the aisle giving small high fives to the crowd even noticed kids wearing knock off white tiger masks. He would have to get ones made for sale.

Once reaching the steel steps,he walked and stood on the apron and signaled the crowd to sing this last part, Suddenly the crowd complied in a loud yell in unison: "Ai Wo Torimodose!!!" Tiger got in the ring thru the middle ropes.

And his opponent... from Mexico City Mexico weighing at 265lbs White Tiger!!!!

King :And Here's White Tiger, Miranda will have to come up with something to neutralize White Tiger's Size and skill.

JR: Tiger Defeated Bianca in a very thecnical manner, using every limb to his dispossal, So far we've seen moves from old school moves of lucha libre. Those of among the lucha libre pantheon Santo, Blue Demon, Mil Mascaras, Atlantis. White Tiger has all the tools to defeat any foe he's put in fron of him.

King: His theme does sound kind of annoying to me. It's not to my taste.

JR: King That theme is from the famous japanese animation The Fist Of The Northstar. according to White Tiger, he used that theme for his first match in Japan. Its fitting for he spend most of his career in Japan.

As White Tiger was introduced he walked to the center of the ring his trademark claw handsign. His music soon faded away, White Tiger walked to his corner making small pre-match stretches and hitting back first the ropes a few times as he waited for the bell to ring.

The bell would ring and Miranda, hands shaking from the effects of earlier battles elsewhere, would circle the ring before offering a test of strength. No matter what damage she had taken this year, and who opponent was , they would learn swiftly that underestimating her would be a fatal mistake if the collar-and-elbow was accepted, she would immediately stomp on the larger man's kneecap. The clear intention was todeprive the man of his power and his high-flying offense.

Tiger circled around the ring shaking his hands, focused on Miranda Rose slightly familiar with her style and approach. It was clear White Tiger had the weight and size advantage. Old school lucha libre consists of all out mat wrestling and innovating locks. Rivalring with the Japanese and British styles, as it was seen in WCW with Cartwright. The masked wrestler slightly bend his knees extending his hand, accepting the test of strenght interlocking fingers with her.

JR: Lets get this match underway, White Tiger,Miranda Rose. Two complete opposites Miranda has slight balance of striking and mat wrestling. White Tiger another balanced wrestler despite having power and size advantage the wrestlers prefers to out class his opponents in a very technical manner. Doesn't matter of you'rea giant or a highflier WhiteTiger is always two steps ahead.

King: oh Boy! The crowd is clearly fired up from the start. Tiger has shaken the independent scene for years and Japan. Miranda with all her accomplishments in all of G-Fed. This is a promising match for the highlight reel.

Tiger was stomped on the knee,forcing him to take a knee he grimaced at Miranda showing sign of pain. Tiger had taken his time studying Miranda always looking to offer any sort of grapple start up but never actually transitioning to any position always striking. To White he could see Miranda was scared of engaging in any mat wrestling with him. In response to this non-classy strike, White Tiger would wring Miranda's wrist to drive her body towards him. White to pull her down in a back/neck takeover and follow with a wrist lock attacking both wrist and fingers.

White Tiger had no idea who he was dealing with if he thought he could outwrestle her. The thing was, although she was bot traditionally a mat wrestler, it wasn't in her comfort zone, but she was definitely capable of it, having trained with Talia for years. And, as it would make sense that the larger man would be stronger, however, as with Pantera, Miranda had made a living off of overcoming larger enemies. After all, she had spent most of her career in a man's world. She would be pulled forward and down by White Tiger. She would release Tiger's shoulders, reaching down and attempting a double leg takedown before Pantera used the Takeover!

Wrestlers around the world would describe Miranda as Unorthodox of course clearly she risking a lot of her momentum by letting go and actually coming up with a move to neutralize White Tiger. This wasn't the case, Tiger was confused why would Miranda let go all of a sudden. The Luchador began drawing a plan in his head and a set of possibilities. He glanced over to Miranda in a swift motion, extending his arms in combat position.

King: "Miranda let's go of the Tiger, what is she...oh a double leg takedown! pretty early in the match Miranda looks to overpower White Tiger."

White Tiger has seen thru her charade, despite not being able to throw her down the mat. It seemed Miranda had come up with a slick offesive to the masked wreslter. Tiger got back to his feet and swiftly sprawled on Miranda applying pressure on her back. He would wrap his arms around her waist, stopping her takedown completely. He would bury his knee under her solar plexus using it to easily lift her and throw her into an overhead gutwrench suplex. White Tiger showing doesn't matter your offensive plan, he's always two steps head.

JR: "And Tiger Counters with agutwrench suplex well excecuted byt the technical wrestler. White Tiger is always like this. This is a good start to match. They're letting the crowd set the pace of the match, both Tiger and Rose are trying to counter and counter back. If you watch closely no move wasted here."

Miranda was unimpressed. As White Tiger put his weight on her back she would lift backwards, attempting to force him to fall behind her, taking a bump off the mat. Even if that failed, to avoid the bump, he would be forced to let go of a Miranda. He wasn't the only one who had won championships around the World and he would need to realize that she had been winning Championships since before White Tiger was a household name. And she would continue to win far after her victory tonight.

Counter for counter this is how this match is going, the free flow was exquisite to watch. White Tiger let go of Miranda, following her attempt of a takedown. White Tiger now standing on his feet he would look to have more counter to counter in what some in the business will call a mat wrestling clinic. Just like his mentors did with him. To White Tiger and many other old school wrestlers and luchadors...Wrestling is an art and it should be treated with respect. He would show Miranda why he's the best technical wrestler in this business.

"If you have warmed up, let us give them a show."

White Tiger would say to his opponent and offer Miranda a test of strength, extending both his arms to her. His technique and size would help definitely. If she has trained with the infamous Talia Rose. In the words of the late Billy Robinson it will be physical Chess.

Miranda would accept the test of strength. For the average wrestler, his size and strength would be daunting, but not Miranda. Miranda had been fighting people larger than herself all her life. She had trained with the Ultimate Luchador, Pantera. She had trained with Wylde, With Talia, and with Eliza Monteiro. Miranda would drop her center of gravity, and attempt to push White Tiger into the corner and then try a running bulldog off the rebound!

White Tiger is a balanced counter to counter wrestler. He would have to study further on Miranda. In order to come up with with something she will be willing to work. White Tiger would be pushed still keeping his base, as soon as got into to the corner he would place his hand on Miranda's face shoving her aside.

The referee would warn her to get out of the corner. What he didn't expected was her wrapping her arm around his head trying to head for the what it seemed to be a bulldog attempt . Tiger would attempt to counter by shoving her away as she began her sprint.

Miranda would sail through the air from the attempted bulldog, landing on her a** and rolling out of the ring, rubbing her butt.

White Tiger would walk out from the corner glancing over at Miranda rubbing her rear. Getting out of the ring, like a dog with its tail between its legs. She spoke of being the Queen but she was running away from the ring. White Tiger would walk towards the ring and would step on the middle rope and pull the top rope for her motioning her Miranda to come back.

"Hey Adonde vas? Pero si eres el alma de la fiesta."

The crowd cheered and laughed. Clearly Tiger was just being polite, but some took it as he was playing mind games with the so called "Queen". After all White Tiger was famous for being polite and respectful, whether it was fans or opponents his incredible charisma made him appealing to the people.

Miranda would smile, her one eye staring daggers into White Tiger. Suddenly it all made sense. 6'5, 265, spoke Spanish, Tiger mask. Miranda began to climb up the steel steps, looking at her opponent with wonder and amusement, as she stepped into the ring, she would nod. "You have surely gotten better since the last time we faced off, haven't you? Last time I broke your ribs, didn't I, White Tiger?" Surprisingly, Miranda seemed to respect his choice of names, not directly revealing who she thought he was. She would circle around the ring as she looked for an opening to attack him

White Tiger tilted his head to the side, as Miranda spoke something about facing eachother in the past. Maybe it could've been but to Tiger's knowledge he had never broken his ribs, he had however broken bones of his opponents, who dared make little of a match. He nodded silently, as he stopped holding the ropes for her.

King: "The Size and competitive skill of Tiger reminds me of a younger Billy Robinson. He's tall and heavy but prefers to fight and outwrestle his opponents."


Tiger would walk towards Miranda and attempt to grab both her legs and trip her on the mat. Tiger still wanting to showcase what real wrestling was about it wasnt all power moves. Of successful he would look to force Miranda to bend over as he would start to bend her legs and wrap his own leg, to fully lock an indian deathlock.

JR: "now that you mention it White Tiger has Cited him as one of his mentors and wrestling inspirations. It seems Tiger has studied and taken moves from every technical wrestler in this business and applied it to his own. "
